We watched two excellent matches. In fact, I didn't expect so many goals, I thought the teams would play more controlled, but the individual performances of the players were at the highest level and they scored excellent goals. The Champions League is really the pinnacle, and these teams are the best in the world. They proved it again. It's not a coincidence for any of them to be here. They are here because they are the best teams with the best players. I can't wait for the rematches, they are incredible matches. It's completely uncertain who will advance.

I was striked with their very performances, both matches where very much interesting with fascinating goals that is just unbelievable. Arsenal played really good but my intentions was for them to win tonights game very sad how they nearly lost it till Trossard came in to equalize. I think comparing both matches, City VS Madrid was the most interesting, really best of the best competing and compulsory how one must drop for the other to move on, the match was the toughest as both teams scored brilliant goals. It seems I'm the only one here bothered why Debruyne wasn't featured in the match.

Manchester City got the result they wanted on the road in this match. Haaland's performance was bad. The game lacked pace in general but the goals took the game to another level. Modric should definitely play in the starting eleven in the second leg. Because Modric kept the ball in Real Madrid's possession after he came on in this game, he carried the ball well before the goal and Vinicius Jr assisted Valverde skillfully.

Modric's vision of the game is tremendous. Real Madrid were very closed in defense and closed the penalty area well, but the goals they conceded from outside the penalty area show that their defense needs to be questioned. Surprise goals changed the fate of the game and I think Manchester City are the favorites to go through in the second leg.

Probably City did not go with the very intentions of winning that game, I think they went to draw the game watching from how open their defense was and some kind of players they benched, we saw the minute Alvarez came in and refusing to play Debruyne even when they were losing, I'm sure they would have their own reason for doing so, maybe holding back till they meet at Etihad, Madrid should be extremely careful, facing City at home may end their title race.

Judging on players performance, Haaland wasn't part of the game, Rudiger dealt massively with him, in this kind of match Haaland should be subbed off or not even allowed to start till they are on some goals lead, it felt like City was a man down watching them play, Alvarez would have been the best option to start.

Modric is an experience player, I believe if he had started earlier they might have won this match, his movement with the ball, his kind of vision is top notch, for Madrid talking about purchasing Mbappe will send them to a whole new level in every of their league, winning as much trophies.

Real Madrid played out a 3-3 draw with Manchester City in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, as they now need a win at the Etihad to get to the semi-finals. Rodrygo was Real’s best player in the attack.  The first half was full of pressing from Real and they did lose their energy a little bit in the second half, which let City into the game. 3-3 isn’t the worst result, but it also isn’t nearly the best for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid did well despite the game didn't go the way they wanted it to go, but they made Manchester city to no that there are some teams in the la Liga league that can beat Manchester city again and again without mistake, because people know that Real Madrid will going to equalized the goals before the end of the game, and they did the miracle to equalized the goals 3:3 to drew the game and to make Manchester city fans feel somehow at the end of the game.

Real Madrid will still going to make second leg difficult for their opponent again because their target for this season is to secure two trophies to make the world celebrate their coach, that make it possible for the team to be build on a solid rock.

It's not meant to underestimate Real Madrid but if you look at the progress of the match in the first leg, Real Madrid, who played at home, played no better than Man City. They lost possession of the ball and they also lost slightly in shots on target. However, it cannot be denied, that Real Madrid still has a good mentality, and because of their efforts, they were able to equalize the score to a draw.

The second leg will clearly be an advantage for Man City because they will play at home, but that doesn't mean Real Madrid doesn't have another chance because Real Madrid often makes surprises when they are in a less favorable position.

What a match from those four teams, it make people will be hard to predict the second leg results because they're equal.

I think we need to move on, two upcoming matches Atletico Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund and PSG vs Barcelona will be interesting to watch.

Both Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are inconsistent while both PSG and Barcelona are consistent because they haven't lose since February.

I predict, Dortmund will win and another one is draw.

I think from the last 2 matches, both teams played a game that was fun to watch for football fans. For me, the advantage in these 2 matches is that Munich and City avoided defeat at home to their opponents. And in the second leg, both teams will be much more enthusiastic in deciding whether to qualify next or not.

I think the teams entering the quarter-final phase are teams that are difficult to predict because they are the best teams in their respective leagues. For the two matches, PSG and Atletico, in my opinion, will be far superior, playing at their own home, of course they will be much more enthusiastic.

Arsenal have really tried to make things happen but unfortunately it didn't work out, they really tried their best even by equalising the second goal, this alone will allow them to have breadth air, at least the have less to defend for finishing draw.

Arsenal played well, they deserve the draw and Bayern played well as well even as people were expecting them to beat Arsenal since they have been the team eliminating Arsenal in the past, but today’s performance shows that this is Arsenal of different level because they fought hard to secure a draw in the match.
Nevertheless, this is an advantage for Bayern because play at Alenz Arena will be of Bayern’s advantage because they will be playing in front of their fans.
I am still hoping that Arsenal can do something.

In my view the draw was less deserving for Arsenal haven possessed the game in the much part of the whole time of the game, they had huge dominance than I had imagined they will playing against Bayern Munich but it's so disappointing that playing a weak Bayern team for the first time in many years Arsenal couldn't grab a win even in their home ground. Their chances to survive at the Alenz Arena is not a thing of debate because obviously if they couldn't get a win at their home from a weak Bayern Munich is it at Bayern Munich home arsenal can get a win. No, am not sure, except they just get lucky.

In my opinion, Bayern Munich is not a weak team, and if you look at their five matches, Bayern Munich has an extraordinary record against Arsenal and has managed to achieve three wins, one draw and one defeat in their last five meetings. Apart from that, Bayern Munich has a lot of extraordinary experience in the UCL compared to Arsenal. And in the Bundesliga Bayern Munich is also in second place in the standings, so if you think Bayern Munich is a weak team, you are very wrong because Bayern Munich is one of the dangerous teams in the UCL.
And Arsenal actually has the ability to win the match against Bayern Munich, it's just that they played too recklessly.

Bayern Munich as a weak team in my words doesn't apply to their past records, am laying emphasis only on their current form and if you do your analysis between the Arsenal and Bayern Munich this season in their respective domestic leagues you will find out that Bayern has com no where close to Arsenal form this season unlike past season's where Bayern Munich don't only dominate their domestic league but the champions league as well. Back to champions league game last night arsenal dominated the game, had the ball possession, highest complete passes, strikes on target , what saved Bayern Munich was the experience they have in champions league competition and that was what they were using as a hedge over arsenal who were just playing a normal football as the best side in the game but couldn't capitalize on their strength against Munich.

Yes, Rodrigo is a great player that Madrid currently has, he is better than Haaland who cannot find opportunities to score goals but fortunately Manchester City has Foden and other players who have the potential to score goals as well as Madrid, I already think that their strength is actually it's the same because they want to win too, that's why the match will be interesting to watch when these two teams meet, I have seen that they are no different from last season's meeting, in the first leg the result was also a 1 - 1 draw and now in this season's meeting 3 - 3 .

I already thought that Madrid should be able to take advantage of the moment to beat Madrid at home but they don't seem to really be able to get rid of Manchester City, it seems that Guardiola really understands the strategy and tactics that Ancelotti has made so it seems very easy for Manchester City to find gaps to score goals. we all saw that in this match we saw many beautiful goals created by both of them. but I'm worried about their meeting in the second leg, I remember last season in the second leg at home to Manchester City, Madrid were slaughtered by four goals without reply 4-0 at the Etihad stadium, I hope it doesn't happen again like last season .

We can say that both of the 2 champions league matches played yesterday were enjoyable.It was possible that these matches would have so many goals and it was very good.I was of course following Real Madrid vs Manchester City.There were 3 goals in the match in the early minutes.City took the lead with a goal in the first minute, while Real Madrid immediately increased the pressure and managed to close the lead. The beauty of the goals in the match was really good and although there were some mistakes, it's hard to avoid them in this kind of matches.City managed to take the lead again in the second half, but Real Madrid clearly didn't want to lose.Valverde, who scored the decisive goal, didn't let his team lose.

Every time i watch Manchester City play i feel like they are playing with 10 men against 11 men. Good thing that the rest of the team are able to fill up Haaland space.

It seems you meant Madrid to win Manchester City at home. What if Real Madrid cant beat Manchester City whether home or away. My reason is because last season we watched the both teams played home and away and Manchester City won the victory at last. Now in this season the same thing is happening again. The draw was Real Madrid's worst result in their previous match consider it has many advnatages over manchester city and i i must admit city was showing amazing performance even though it was not playing in front of its supporters. City was missing a lot of chances in this match and i call that real madrid is lucky enough caused by city was not scoring more than three. Real Madrid was unable to capitalize on its advantages over Manchester City which is still giving numerous advantages to the manchester city in the second leg when the game will be away game for real madrid. I'm sure many Madrid fans are disappointed because the chances of winning against City in the upcoming game are becoming even smaller than before.

There are a few things that have me concerned. These things are

There was no Walker, Ake, or even De Bruyne in that game.
Madrid frequently defensively against the city in that game.
City dominated Madrid in that game.

The things above all make me to take a conclusion if city has better performance than real madrid.

City was on another level than Real Madrid, which had used the best lineup in the previous game. Manchester City's gameplay was incredible, as it was able to pressure Madrid at an away game, which is unbelievable to see.
Many people predicted that Manchester City would lose heavily in that game, but this has not been proven. City may destroy Madrid in the second leg.

It's time for Ancelotti to issue a red alert for all of Real Madrid. I do not see bellingham in this match. It appeared to me that he vanished during the game along with Haaland in the city caused by he had been guarded by several defenders.

Exactly Madrid is the best team when it comes to champions league football and every team gets scared of them but you see Manchester city they have been the team in the whole season f Europe for the past three seasons now. And one thing is Madrid as a team still struggle to play well against a team managed by Pep Guardiola. Madrid do not like the tiki taka pattern teams play, they want a fast football game and that’s one area were we also see every Pep’s team falling short. If you watched yesterday immediately Manchester city started controlling the midfield or had more balls in possession it became a little bit difficult for Madrid to bring out their game and when Madrid took the gear on and started their fast attack they scored two quick fire goals same as Manchester city too.

The second leg will be also filled with goals but for Madrid playing away from home it looks like it will be difficult for them. On history they don’t beat city at home and city are on winning streak both at home. Although we can’t compare the fan base of Madrid to that of city to say that Etihad will be difficult for Madrid but even the small number is fans Will different try to make it loud to have a revenge on Madrid for closing down their stadium yesterday. I will still say the game is still tight but city is above in terms of quality and home advantage at the moment

Arsenal, on the other hand, struggled to win the match despite scoring the first goal.Arsenal managed to take the lead in the 12th minute with Saka and closed the first half 2-1 down.They could not prevent Gnabry and Kane's penalty goal.If we look at the overall match, we can say that Arsenal played one step better, but they should have won this match.Bayern Munich has been out of form in recent weeks and I honestly thought that they would lose this match, but with a draw here, maybe they have a chance to pass the round.

I did think of a defeat at home for Real Madrid when they had only 20 minutes to find a third goal. It is not too little time but not a long time for Real Madrid when Manchester City already focused on defense.

The substitution of Kroos by Modric is a good decision from Ancelotti and it helped Madrid to avoid a loss at home and Modric will be used again in a second leg.

I think that the PSG-Barcelona match will be more unpleasant.PSG-Barcelona seems to me to be a match in which both teams will have difficulty in scoring goals and it will be a goal-less match for some reason.So if I take a bet, I can say that I will take it accordingly.In the other match of the day, I think that Atletico will beat Dortmund.Atletico will at least want to do something here, but of course their opponent is not an easy opponent.After Dortmund's defeat of Bayern Munich in the last weeks, we can say that their luck has turned.
