We watched two excellent matches. In fact, I didn't expect so many goals, I thought the teams would play more controlled, but the individual performances of the players were at the highest level and they scored excellent goals. Arsenal played really good but my intentions was for them to win tonights game very sad how they nearly lost it till Trossard came in to equalize. I think comparing both matches, City VS Madrid was the most interesting, really best of the best competing and compulsory how one must drop for the other to move on, the match was the toughest as both teams scored brilliant goals. It seems I'm the only one here bothered why Debruyne wasn't featured in the match.

Manchester City got the result they wanted on the road in this match. Haaland's performance was bad. The game lacked pace in general but the goals took the game to another level. Modric should definitely play in the starting eleven in the second leg. Because Modric kept the ball in Real Madrid's possession after he came on in this game, he carried the ball well before the goal and Vinicius Jr assisted Valverde skillfully.

Modric's vision of the game is tremendous. Real Madrid were very closed in defense and closed the penalty area well, but the goals they conceded from outside the penalty area show that their defense needs to be questioned. Surprise goals changed the fate of the game and I think Manchester City are the favorites to go through in the second leg.

Perhaps Haaland is not to blame for such a mediocre game, because you can see that Manchester City players often ignore him and almost do not pass to him, and to put pressure alone is extremely difficult, especially against a team like Real Madrid, so in this match Haaland again looked bad.

Real Madrid - Manchester city was an exciting match to say the least. I watched the whole thing and it was a pure spectacle, a very beautiful beat and replay. The first 3 goals came in the first 15 minutes of the game and it was already foreshadowed that it would be a match full of sudden twists and turns, the only sore point was the near absence of the two most expected players, haaland and bellingam were hardly seen throughout the match.

Two of the best clubs met early to put on a great show, in fact it was the best match in a couple of seasons, more goals, more attacks, Real Madrid had the better of the counter attacks that's what we saw in this match.

Arsenal vs Bayern Munich was also interesting but I was stunned by the big match Real Madrid vs Man City because it was obviously a match that was watched all over the world, even though my bet was not right but we were very entertained by this match.

I watched Real Madrid - Manchester City and I'm so happy to choose that one to watch. Both halves were very entertaining. After many comebacks we watched finally it ended by 3-3. I think Manchester City will still eliminate Real Madrid at Etihad but I hope we watch a similar game to this again.    We didn't see De Bruyne in the game and Guardiola explained it like he was unwell. I just realized that not all teams have a good philosophy in playing football. So far Carlo Ancelotti is good at coaching and able to play effectively. Effective play is Carlo's philosophy. He was once a weak coach when coaching Everton because he got players with poor quality. With a good team, Ancelotti can play a good game like in Madrid.

Regarding Pep Guardiola's philosophy, he is a coach who has a mixed philosophy of Tiki Taka and short offensive passes that lock in the opponent's defense. And so far Pep Guardiola has been quite successful because he is at a club full of quality players. It is not surprising that their second meeting with a good team produced astonishing results. Both teams still have the same chance of qualifying for the semifinals. I think the second leg will be more exciting.

And this is the same as last season. So Man City might be able to benefit more in the second leg when they host it later.

I also saw that Arsenal and Bayern got a draw in the first leg match. In the end, I didn't watch much of Arsenal's matches. because I became too focused on the Man City and Real Madrid match. But I saw the footage and yes I can say that the Arsenal vs Bayern match was also very extraordinary.

Have you noticed that all the time Real Madrid - Manchester City matches are very enjoyable to follow? I remember a match Real Madrid won by 4-3 before and this one also ended by a score like 3-3. Both sides did their best to win and I can't say one side deserved more than the other. Thankfully Real Madrid showed a really good performance to make the match more entertaining. I was afraid of them to play like they did against Leipzig.  

It was a really unfortunate result for Arsenal also. I really wanted them to win. But if you can't win home then I don't have much hope in the rematch...

There was a 100% penalty for Arsenal when the Bayern goalkeeper stopped Bukayo Saka. What's the point of having VAR, when such obvious situations aren't considered a foul? I don't know why Tomas Tuchel also wanted a penalty. An Arsenal player touched the ball with hands, because he didn't know that the game wasn't stopped by the referee. This doesn't seem like a legit reason to get a penalty.
Anyway, lots of goals in this round of the Champions League, which is great for the neutral fans like me. Manchester City and Real Madrid also did a great game with beautiful goals by Phil Foden and Federico Valverde. I expect City to finally eliminate Real Madrid in the next match in England.

For me I am just satisfied that the game actually didn't disappoint, because I really enjoyed the game and it was worth every second of my time. At first the game was looking in favor of Real Madrid as they overtook city from behind but as expected Manchester city were able to turn the tide against them and went leading again not until real Madrid drew the game once more. Now the return leg will be nothing but excellence all through because both teams will be coming to win the game so I expect another real time offensive football.

This was one of the best nights for me while watching the Champions League!! 6 goals and both teams take turns leading the score. Truly a rare and extraordinary match!. It was a very adrenaline pumping match! Both teams returned goals and the match ended in a draw. Most of the goals came from kicks from outside the penalty box. This proves that both teams have solid defenses and attractive attacks. City played with a tiki taka philosophy and Madrid played very effectively and efficiently. The second leg will be played at the Etihad and City has home advantage. But the important note here is that Haaland underperformed last night. Haaland must improve his game because Ancelotti is a genius coach who can exploit opponents' weaknesses.
