After waiting a long time, Newcastle finally managed to qualify for the Champions League, but Newcastle journey was not as easy as imagined because they joined the Hell group. Two places will be contested by AC Milan, PSG, Dortmund and Newcastle. The strength of the three teams that are Newcastle competitors cannot be underestimated, they are teams that are challengers in the Domestic League. Newcastle, which is unable to maintain its good performance like last season, will find it very difficult to compete with these three teams. There is very little chance of Newcastle qualifying for the round of 16 if its performance is still unstable.

All teams will compete for 2 tickets to the round of 16, while one of them will compete for 1 ticket to the European League. This season, Newcastle doesn't seem to have much hope in the Champions League considering their performance in the league is not good. So the probability of winning and the possibility of them qualifying for the next round will certainly be lower than the other 3 teams.

Today Newcastle and Milan will play their first match for the 2023/2024 Champions League season, but I believe Milan will be able to win maximum points in this match compared to Newcastle. Even though Milan actually suffered a humiliating defeat in the derby match, I am sure they can be favored at home. The probabilities of both teams are the same, but I think Milan can be expected to do better because of their experience.

I would guess that league and champions league are different roads and the results may not be the same. I do not expect them to get a win neither to be fair, but I think it is still something that would be important nonetheless. We may see them lose this one out, but I feel like it is going to be tough to hold them at UCL if teams are not careful, it could lead to something that would be a bit more troublesome and should be important to realize it is not going to be that much of an easy thing.

I believe that we are going to end up with a result that would be a bit more careful and should lead to something that will benefit everyone a lot more carefully, it is definitely an issue that should not be like Newcastle is bad at league, so will be bad here too.

Tonight, the the first legs of the Group Stage of the UEFA Champions League will be played. I will prefer to watch Paris Saint-Germain - Borussia Dortmund match. The result of the match between PSG and Dortmund is difficult to predict however in my opinion, the favorite team is Paris Saint-Germain. The match will be a tough fight between PSG and Dortmund but I feel like we will watch a very enjoyable match.

These has been my thoughts even before the match started, Newcastle Would have been a better opponent had it been this game was last season when they were in their best form they would have even gotten a go already but watching this game right now it's just going to be a narrow escape for Newcastle until AC Milan scores. In the first half so far it's been 50:50 in possession but AC Milan has made good 6 goal attempt but are yet to convert any to a goal while Newcastle is yet to get a goal attempt until the fist half whistle was blown. The first half ended 0:0 all thanks to the Newcastle keeper for doing a very good job hoping he could do more in the second half of the game.

Yeah Milan continues to try to take advantage of their position playing at home at least 16 shots were fired and 7 of them were on target and if Milan continues to do this then their efforts could be successful in scoring goals. I understand Newcastle's target today is to draw then in the second leg they will try to beat Milan therefore Newcastle will guard their defense carefully and so far it works, but still this strategy is not really safe there is always a risk when Milan continues to attack.

Its first half between Milan and Newcastle,and the scoreline is still 0-0 draw,which will see so many person's being surprised how Newcastle has held Milan down to a nil nil draw. Milan hit a lot of shots, but Newcastle are showing real English football. I don't know if they can hold their defence for the rest of the game or even win, but I think Milan deserve to win more. Although it wouldn't be surprising if the game ends in a draw.

Newcastle can loss it in just one moment of distraction. AC Milan have a good record in the champions league of winning their first games, so Newcastle have to stay calm because they are in a tough group an need all the advantage that they can get. It is not easy to play in Italy and have a draw against one of the most experienced teams in the competition at their home. Callum Wilson will come in the second half, maybe Almiron and Lewis Hall, they may be the players to help Newcastle win their first game.

Newcastle surely know that they are not the favourites in this match and that is why they have remained calm. The AC Milan team has more quality and experience. But it seems that Newcastle is better in positioning. The presence of Rafa Leo and Chukwueze has made Newcastle to be more calm.
I am also optimistic that Almiron and the likes of Wilson with fresh energy can make the difference for Newcastle. But be it as it may, a draw is a good result for Newcastle in this match tonight.

Obviously there's a continuous attack and it won't be long before Milan may secure a goal because the keeper can't guarantee saving all the shots on target fired.  Before the game started I knew Newcastle will be playing a defensive strategy to get an away draw but that's very risky as pressure will keeping surmounting which can lead to a goal or more. I also prefer PSG vs Dortmund, and yes the result of this match will be difficult to predict because the Dortmund team can't be underestimated at all. Inded, PSG will be the favorite because they will play at home and odds for PSG is @1.71 while for Dortmund @4.30, but I think Dortmund team will make a very good effort in that match to get at least 1 point. But even so, PSG will also do their best to get the three points.
To be honest, I hope PSG can win very well but football is often unexpected.

There's alot to expect in the opening game. PSG are the hosts and would always portrayed more pressure on the visitors without hesitation. Luis Enrique have another tests to pass if he still wants to maintain his position as headcoach of Parisians. While Edin Terzic will likely settle for draw, moreover Dortmund are good when it comes to defensive strategy. Paris Saint-Germain vs Borrusia Dortmund is a tough fixture, I will just buy cheese and relaxed, wouldn't missed out on the game because I will be delighted to see entertaining performances from both sides.

I was watching the game between AC Milan and Newcastle United, and it was a fairly normal match. AC Milan came close to winning especially in the second half. Milan had very good dominance in this match but unfortunately, Milan did not succeed in turning the opportunities they had into goals. Although indeed, with statistics like this, Milan should have scored in this match, but Milan couldn't do it well. Of course, a draw at home is a bad result for Milan, unless Milan doesn't have good statistics then it's probably natural that the result is a draw. It is true that this is a loss for Milan their efforts failed because Newcastle implemented double defense even though the final result was a draw of course Newcastle had the advantage I mean they can take advantage of the opportunity to play in the second leg and Milan's task will be even harder.
