today it looks like the PSG vs Real Sociedad match will be much more interesting than the Lazio vs Bayern Munich match. Because Bayern Munich has an opponent that is not very balanced in my opinion, I prefer to see the match for PSG because at least there is a little balance in terms of performance even though Real Sociedad has started to not be very good in some of its matches recently. However, in the Champions League anything can happen because Real Sociedad can also surprise PSG with their performance.

In my opinion, Lazio will be a balanced opponent if you assess Bayern Munich's performance in the last few matches. Bayern Munich's overall performance is indeed above Lazio's, so we can judge that Lazio is not a balanced opponent for a team like Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Another set of round of 16 matches today in the UCL. The UCL is now getting trimmed to just the big boys participating in the competition and the fans are loving it now. Bayern Munich at this stage are sure favorites but the issue is how long they’ll be able to stay in the competition especially as Tuchel isn’t playing the attacking football the club is known for. As for PSG, they’re also favorites but will they be able to keep up as the competition keeps growing intensed.

 The competition is an elite competition and elite participation will be needed from clubs in the competition as this is my fear for Bayern and PSG past this stage of the competition. PSG might be tough in their league but over the years they've not really pull a treat in the UCL while Bayern Munich is struggling lately and it could affect their UCL performance.

There are still a few minutes left for Bayern Munchen to ensure their away win today, I am also sure they will win the match at the Allianz Arena in the second leg. Yes, it is understandable and absolutely true that the Champions League atmosphere is very different. Bayern Munich and PSG both drew in their respective matches, especially in the first half, but so far PSG has a 1-0 lead over Real Sociedad. The match was very balanced because both teams had their chances, but only PSG has so far been able to take advantage of these opportunities.

Real Sociedad started this season well with some outstanding performances in both Laliga and the Champions League, their performance was the main reason why they were able to finish top in their group stage matches; their statics in their five matches back is bad, that is why the match is more difficult for them and PSG get an opportunity to take the lead, but if they were in their initial form, i don’t think PSG will win them easily even though the match is not yet over as anything can still happen in football.

Bayern Munich is yet to register one shot on goal because the pressure from Lazio attackers is much and the midfielder are doing their job by denying Bayern Munich attackers any chance to see their keeper.

This alone makes PSG To also look as one team that Sociedad can overcome as they’re not performing excellently.

He did a rough tackle inside his own 18 yard box by stepping on the ankle of Lazio striker, which led to a red card and a penalty. Bayern Munich is now playing with one man down, and this is like from frypan to fire, because even when Bayern team was complete, they were finding it difficult to penetrate through Lazio's defense. I just pray this Bayern Munich game don't end in a draw, like I don't understand what's going on with the German side, no shots on target. This is the first time I'm experiencing this from the Bayern Munich side, even if they'll win the second leg, to me I don't feel they have what it takes anymore to even qualify to the next round.
Lazio have been extremely good in this game, and now they (Lazio) have the upper hands in this encounter with a red card I feel this is going to be a lot more easy for Lazio till full time. Never expect Bayern to play this bad in this round of the champions league so I think they're gently losing that force of winning games back to back and I don't think they'll make it to the semis.

PSG is a little more comfortable because it has won in this first leg and in the second leg they can play more carefully and without burden this means that the draw is enough for them to secure the position. In another match Bayern Munich was defeated by Lazio the red card in the 67th minute disrupted their plans, but Bayern Munich still has a chance in the second leg to turn the situation. I can't imagine if Bayern Munich was eliminated earlier because they are one of the champion candidates, this match is interesting to wait.
