We have seen PSG fail against Spanish teams in the past. Despite having a strong squad, they could not win against the Spanish team. Odds are just way of following the current state of a team, if they are not in good form even if they win the Champions League last season, expect them to have bigger odds because the bookmarkers expect them to lose that match but that doesn't mean anything, things change in the process of the game. Look at Real Madrid, I didn't expect them to give a clean sheet against Leipzig despite having some patch on the center back, they use Carvajal that is a midfielder and Tchouameni for center back and they did extra ordinarily.

But as far as I can see there isn't such situation. PSG have been very good in home matches so far. Maybe Bayern Munich have looked unstable about performance in the Champions League but they are still way better than Lazio.

No doubt, PSG is coming out of that knockout with any problem, they have what it takes to trash Real Sociedad and Bayern are also in good shape despite not doing good recently, they can still do much more for the team. You took too old achievements. If we take the current ones, then Bayern is in doubt (for example, relegation from Villarreal), and PSG are very bad - second place in the group two years in a row, plus relegation to the 1/8 finals also two years in a row. In my opinion, Lazio will be a balanced opponent if you assess Bayern Munich's performance in the last few matches. Bayern Munich's overall performance is indeed above Lazio's, so we can judge that Lazio is not a balanced opponent for a team like Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

I watched the PSG vs Real Sociedad match, this was an interesting match because the Spanish team didn't seem to be an easy opponent. Real Sociedad plays offensively instead of defending, this is what makes PSG get the pressure on their defense.

Another set of round of 16 matches today in the UCL. The UCL is now getting trimmed to just the big boys participating in the competition and the fans are loving it now. Bayern Munich at this stage are sure favorites but the issue is how long they’ll be able to stay in the competition especially as Tuchel isn’t playing the attacking football the club is known for. As for PSG, they’re also favorites but will they be able to keep up as the competition keeps growing intensed.

 The competition is an elite competition and elite participation will be needed from clubs in the competition as this is my fear for Bayern and PSG past this stage of the competition. PSG might be tough in their league but over the years they've not really pull a treat in the UCL while Bayern Munich is struggling lately and it could affect their UCL performance.

Leipzig have a lot of problems in the league at the moment and were still on a par with Real. If they hadn't been penalized by the referee, they would have at least drawn. In fact, despite Bayern Munich and PSG being the favorites teams in this match, but they ended the first half with a goalless draw . Even though it's only the first half, but it's still quite disappointing because even though Bayern Munich and PSG still managed to dominate the match, but in fact still not easy for them to score in this match. There are still a few minutes left for Bayern Munchen to ensure their away win today, I am also sure they will win the match at the Allianz Arena in the second leg. In fact, Tuchel is a coach who has experience winning the Champions League trophy, but at Bayern he seems to have lost his magic touch. Bayern Munich and PSG both drew in their respective matches, especially in the first half, but so far PSG has a 1-0 lead over Real Sociedad. Real Sociedad started this season well with some outstanding performances in both Laliga and the Champions League, their performance was the main reason why they were able to finish top in their group stage matches; their statics in their five matches back is bad, that is why the match is more difficult for them and PSG get an opportunity to take the lead, but if they were in their initial form, i don’t think PSG will win them easily even though the match is not yet over as anything can still happen in football.

Real Sociedad are doing quite good in the UCL as compared to the La Liga. In th La Liga they’re performing poorly and currently they’re heading to the UCL and they’re squared up with PSG. The France giants are a good team but they can’t be trusted in most matches especially as the whole team seems not to be participating but rather leaving it all at the feet of Kylian. This alone makes PSG To also look as one team that Sociedad can overcome as they’re not performing excellently.

Bayern are really having a bad day at the office today. As they are unable to score in the game so far and they have gotten a red card in this game. The Lazio team is do determine to get a point in this game. At this point now Bayern might likely lose this game as they are now playing with a player short. This is really not the Bayern Munich team we use to know. Something is really not right in that team. If care is not taken they might exit the competition at this stage and it will be very bad for them.

Dayot Upamecano the France international has given Lazio the victory over his club Bayern Munich. He did a rough tackle inside his own 18 yard box by stepping on the ankle of Lazio striker, which led to a red card and a penalty. Immobile took a brilliant penalty which went in the opposite side to when Bayern goalkeeper dived to. Bayern Munich is now playing with one man down, and this is like from frypan to fire, because even when Bayern team was complete, they were finding it difficult to penetrate through Lazio's defense. If Bayern is not careful Lazio might score more goals.
