After watching the last 16 games so far, I don’t see any other team being capable of beating Man City. I know anything can happen but Bayern were incredibly poor, PSG always choke. My hope is Real Madrid rise to the big occasion like they so often do. Man City embarrassed them last season though. Hopefully Bellingham makes a difference for them this season.

Barcelona are a pale shadow of what they once were, I just don’t see any credible challengers to Man City and I really don’t want them to win it again. It leaves a sour taste in the mouth with them because of all the financial charges they face for cheating.

Man City has indeed had quite an impressive performance, and it is very appropriate for them to be considered as one of the strong candidates in the Champions League. If you look at the performance of other teams, I think there are only 2 teams that could be a stumbling block for Man City, that is Real Madrid and Arsenal. Why Arsenal? Usually when the two teams that meet in the Champions League come from the same League, then it will give its own prestige, and I think with the form that Arsenal is having at the moment, it will make it a fifty-fifty chance for both teams.

I hate it when I lose a bet because a team fails so miserably. I mean don't get me wrong, when I bet on a game that I know there is a risk, I am fine with it but it has to be like a team worked hard and still lost. I have wagered against big name clubs too before, so losing was normal in those cases.

But, when I see a team like Bayern, who should get the win and still lose, because they lacked the effort, that makes me feel furious. They didn't even try, they have been horrible, the yare just broken. I mean at this stage I am starting to believe that the Kane curse is actually very real, it looks like he is not that good at all, and it could be very dangerous for the whole team as well. Having more trust in Bayern Munich is what makes everyone think they will win the game, forgetting that Lazio has a well-arranged set of defenses. which Lazio end up playing a defence game since they know their opponent Bayern Munich is a stronger team than them. To me precisely, I will say that Bayern Munich should go and focus more on their performance to face Lazio in the second leg and to make sure they are able to have not less than 2 goals; if not, they will definitely be knocked out by Lazio. It will be very disappointing to see such a strong team knocked out by Lazio in the round of 16; that means they were not even able to meet up to the quarterfinals. It will definitely look somehow for a team like Bayern Munich.  

Although I did not expect that Bayern lost by Lazio. But I remember last season's UCL where clubs from Serie A were able to progress further than the other strongest clubs. And I think this time the same thing could happen. Last season there were 3 Serie A clubs who managed to qualify for the round of 16 and all three also continued to advance to the quarter-finals and 2 clubs continued to the semi-finals. Well, this illustrates that the clubs from Serie A are really strong. And now Lazio being able to beat Bayern also surprised us all. But if you remember last season, everything will look normal. It's just that last season Milan were the ones who qualified but this season Lazio are the ones who qualified. And actually Lazio is not in optimal condition in Serie A. But it was very surprising to see Bayern lose to Lazio. But the fortunate thing is that Bayern only lost narrowly by 1 point. So Bayern still has a chance to qualify if they can score at least 2 goals in the second leg and can't let Lazio score.

I have a different view on this, because it is undeniable that the goals that Laazio can create come from there so that they can create the only goals that come in this match. But I don't mean to blame, because in a match anything can happen.
Here Lazio clearly managed to apply a defense that was very difficult to penetrate, so Bayern Munich did not have many open opportunities that they could convert into goals. But they were still doing pretty good in home games you know. Because of their strong look in those games I wanted to trust PSG with my bet as well.

Lazio winning Bayern Munich may seem like a surprise to many but to me I saw it coming because despite the fact that Bayern Munich is a big name in football history, but for them to lose against Bayern Leverkusen regardless of the fact they are topping the league table means that Bayern Munich have started losing their strength and even if they were to lose that match it would have been by a goal difference but they lost 3:0 so that losing to Bayern Leverkusen really killed Bayern Munich's winning spence hence they went into the Champions league without any concrete arrangement on how to win Lazio so to me i knew Bayern Munich would lose that match.

Tipping the winners of champions league now might not really be achievable unless after this knockout stages because some of the clubs you listed above may not actually make it to the next round.

They were not clinical with the chances they had. In a Champions League league, wastefulness is a great sin because it might later hunt the club. Lazio took the few chances they had and won a penalty while Bayern Munich had much but wasted theirs courtesy of Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala. The red card also affected the game and made it difficult for them to have a comeback. But it was indeed a reckless tackle by Dayot Upamecano and he deserved the red card. Even coach Thomas Tuchel slammed him for such a dangerous tackle.

After suffering a crushing defeat by Leverkusen in the domestic league, Munich now had to accept another defeat against Lazio in yesterday's match, even though the goal was due to a foul by Dayot Upamecano. I think Munich should not have taken unnecessary action by bringing down a Lazio player in the penalty box. , clearly that is detrimental to Munich, I'm not sure that in the second leg, playing at home to Munich, they have to win big against Lazio, but if Lazio makes it difficult to hold Munich to a draw, of course they will fail in the UCL this season.

I don't know if this is Kane's curse or not, but actually he is a good player at scoring goals, in fact he is often a goal machine wherever he plays, but unfortunately he couldn't score a goal in yesterday's match, even one against Lazio. In my opinion. Actually, Bayern Munich's current problem lies with its coach Tuchel. As you said Bayer Munich is a giant club, this is a fact. Neuer is still performing well after recovering from injury, this is also a fact. And Kane is the world's top striker at the moment, this is also a fact. I'm not a fan of Munich. But in my opinion, Tuchel has really shown that he is not worthy of coaching Bayern Munich, it's as simple as that.

In the first leg match against Lazio, apart from successfully beating Bayern Munich, they also had zero shots on target against Lazio. Lazio was able to fire 4 shots on target, it must be admitted that typical Italian defense was very good in this match.
It's true, after beating Lazio in the first leg, Bayern Munich still has a chance in the second leg. However, now many people doubt that Bayern Munich will remain a candidate to win this season after losing to Lazio. PSG won comfortably in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg. Real Sociedad's defense was strong in the first half, but things changed in the second half. PSG looks strong enough to beat Real Sociedad, and I don't think a draw is likely in the return leg.

I was really indecisive about adding Bayern Munich too but didn't later on. It was a close call really because they played horrible. There were many wasted opportunities and there wasn't even a shot on goal by them.  

Bayern Munich is in poor form, but we'll have to wait and see what happens in the second leg. Bayern needs to step up their game in the second leg, or they'll be knocked out.

Even though that was only a myth but i think that sometime it's funny enough to see that. It seems like that bayern gets unlucky caused by it was not seeing its opponent as a strong club. Bayern has been getting perfect result in the UCL but it's surprising me to see that how bayern was getting bad result right now.
Lazio has a chance to win the gmae and i hope that the second leg will be good enough for lazio. Lazio must have used parking buss strategy and it must be playing low block against bayern munich.

Munich was strong when it was playing at home but it can be prevented as long as lazio will be using low block strategy against it. The chance for lazio is still there and i hope we will be seeing a miracle to happen soon.

Despite Lazio's inconsistency in the Italian Serie A since the start of the season, they did not allow that to get the better of them as they produced a great performance against Bayern Munich to win the first leg of their round of 16 tie in the UEFA Champions League competition.
Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel is currently not implementing the right tactical approaches that'll bring out the best from a squad that possesses some of the best players in Europe and that's why I think he's very likely to get sacked if Lazio eliminates Bayern Munich at the end of the round of 16 tie. In Thomas Tuchel's first 43 games for Bayern Munich, the German coach has lost 10 games already which is the same number of defeats his predecessor suffered in his first 84 matches for the club and that shows how poor Bayern Munich have been under him.

I wish I didn't add Bayern Munich to win to my parlay also.    I hoped to see a day with no surprise results again but I shouldn't have been very optimistic about that. I was confident about PSG but was having second thoughts about Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich just showed a terrible performance last night. 17 shots but 0 on target...

They wasted unbelievable goal chances also. Upamecano's very dangerous foul just brought their end. I think he definitely deserved the red card there even though it wasn't intentional.

Probably we will watch a way better Bayern Munich in Germany but there is no return for my loss.

from the initial round I started to feel that if there was something different from Bayern Munich, it was not like before and what made me focus was only the Bayern Munich attacker was very less fast in terms of putting pressure like Kane who usually had a fast enough performance to find a gap but in yesterday's match very bad.
and on one hand the actual violation was accidentally carried out but however it was difficult to provide a fair policy because it was clearly visible violations.

even though I hope that the match can end in a draw but after losing the defense player Bayern Munich is more focused on helping to provide defense not to conceding again.
It seems that there still hope in the second leg match Bayern Munich very easy to qualify because it quite superior 1 Score can qualify for the next round and should compete at home will be more perfect.
