It was such a smooth performance by PSG against Real Sociedad.    I didn't even understand why their odds were near 1.70 before the game. I know how inconsistent PSG were in the group stage. But they were still doing pretty good in home games you know. Because of their strong look in those games I wanted to trust PSG with my bet as well.

Lazio winning Bayern Munich may seem like a surprise to many but to me I saw it coming because despite the fact that Bayern Munich is a big name in football history, but for them to lose against Bayern Leverkusen regardless of the fact they are topping the league table means that Bayern Munich have started losing their strength and even if they were to lose that match it would have been by a goal difference but they lost 3:0 so that losing to Bayern Leverkusen really killed Bayern Munich's winning spence hence they went into the Champions league without any concrete arrangement on how to win Lazio so to me i knew Bayern Munich would lose that match.

Tipping the winners of champions league now might not really be achievable unless after this knockout stages because some of the clubs you listed above may not actually make it to the next round.

Harry Kane is not performing badly with Bayern Munich. But Harry Kane is unlucky. Despite being a very talented player, he is yet to win any title. The reason for the defeat against Lazio I would say was Munich's tactical weakness. Munich cannot dominate this match. Also, there was not a single on target shot after taking a total of 17 shots. At the same time, Munich had bad luck. Munich might not have lost this match if defender Upamecano had not received the red card.

They were not clinical with the chances they had. In a Champions League league, wastefulness is a great sin because it might later hunt the club. Lazio took the few chances they had and won a penalty while Bayern Munich had much but wasted theirs courtesy of Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala. The red card also affected the game and made it difficult for them to have a comeback. But it was indeed a reckless tackle by Dayot Upamecano and he deserved the red card. Even coach Thomas Tuchel slammed him for such a dangerous tackle.

But, when I see a team like Bayern, who should get the win and still lose, because they lacked the effort, that makes me feel furious. They didn't even try, they have been horrible, the yare just broken. I mean at this stage I am starting to believe that the Kane curse is actually very real, it looks like he is not that good at all, and it could be very dangerous for the whole team as well. Look how terrible their results have been in all competitions since he joined.

Too bad for Kane, Bayern Munich which we know is easily win in Bundesliga, might not win in this season. After suffering a crushing defeat by Leverkusen in the domestic league, Munich now had to accept another defeat against Lazio in yesterday's match, even though the goal was due to a foul by Dayot Upamecano. I think Munich should not have taken unnecessary action by bringing down a Lazio player in the penalty box. , clearly that is detrimental to Munich, I'm not sure that in the second leg, playing at home to Munich, they have to win big against Lazio, but if Lazio makes it difficult to hold Munich to a draw, of course they will fail in the UCL this season.

I don't know if this is Kane's curse or not, but actually he is a good player at scoring goals, in fact he is often a goal machine wherever he plays, but unfortunately he couldn't score a goal in yesterday's match, even one against Lazio. Lazio's strong defense made Munich became frustrated and had to accept their defeat and of course Munich had to prepare themselves for the second leg match later and they had to be able to learn from their defeat yesterday.

In my opinion. Actually, Bayern Munich's current problem lies with its coach Tuchel. As you said Bayer Munich is a giant club, this is a fact. Neuer is still performing well after recovering from injury, this is also a fact. And Kane is the world's top striker at the moment, this is also a fact. I'm not a fan of Munich. But in my opinion, Tuchel has really shown that he is not worthy of coaching Bayern Munich, it's as simple as that.

In the first leg match against Lazio, apart from successfully beating Bayern Munich, they also had zero shots on target against Lazio. Lazio was able to fire 4 shots on target, it must be admitted that typical Italian defense was very good in this match.
It's true, after beating Lazio in the first leg, Bayern Munich still has a chance in the second leg. However, now many people doubt that Bayern Munich will remain a candidate to win this season after losing to Lazio. And the saddest thing is, if Bayern Munich collapses in the round of 16, it means that Kane's hopes of winning his first trophy will be dashed again.

Of course completely, when a clubs not doing well, there's either issues with the Management, Manager or the players playing for the club. But, right now it's has got to be from the manager Thomas Tuchel and his tactics because if they're working effectively it'll definitely show up in how they've been playing in the Champions League and Bundesliga League Competition.

PSG won comfortably in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg. Real Sociedad's defense was strong in the first half, but things changed in the second half. PSG looks strong enough to beat Real Sociedad, and I don't think a draw is likely in the return leg.

Bayern Munich is in poor form, but we'll have to wait and see what happens in the second leg. Bayern needs to step up their game in the second leg, or they'll be knocked out.

It's hard for me to make a single bet because yes, I prefer parlay bets but unfortunately, at this moment I had the misfortune because Bayern Munich being very disappointing result in this match. Instead of scoring a goal, one of the Bayern Munich players actually got a red card and Laizo was awarded a penalty kick. I wish I didn't add Bayern Munich to win to my parlay also.    I hoped to see a day with no surprise results again but I shouldn't have been very optimistic about that. I was confident about PSG but was having second thoughts about Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich just showed a terrible performance last night. 17 shots but 0 on target...

They wasted unbelievable goal chances also. Upamecano's very dangerous foul just brought their end. I think he definitely deserved the red card there even though it wasn't intentional.

Probably we will watch a way better Bayern Munich in Germany but there is no return for my loss.

Having said that, the good thing for Bayern is that this second leg is in the Allianz Arena, with their fans, so Lazio have a lot of work to do if they are going to go through. I was really surprised by Bayern Munich poor performance yesterday. But irrespective of yesterday's outcome Bayern Munich are still favorite to qualify for the next round. The scoreline wasn't so bad that Bayern Munich cannot overturned when Lazio got to Germany for the return leg. Am still confident in Bayern qualifying. I just pray this Bayern Munich game don't end in a draw, like I don't understand what's going on with the German side, no shots on target. This is the first time I'm experiencing this from the Bayern Munich side, even if they'll win the second leg, to me I don't feel they have what it takes anymore to even qualify to the next round.

Tuchel has made Bayern Munich look bad. I have been saying it since he got hired. Hiring Tuchel was a bad decision. Firing Nagelsmann was a bad decision, but they made a bad decision worse by hiring Tuchel.
I don't understand how his team plays but they're not convincing. He excelled with Chelsea and won the Champions League but I guess that was a purple patch. Tuchel's best football was at PSG and even there he had a lot of loopholes.

Tuchel will get sacked at Bayern Munich at the end of the season. The only way he can keep his job is if he wins the Champions League and I doubt that would happen. Then there's the fact that he's 5 points behind in the league. It's not looking good for him at all.

The Barbarians alone knows why they fired Nagelsmann, he had a wonderful record and again the Bayern Munich board knows best that's why they went for Tuchel, for me not that they wanted him (Thomas Tuchel) is just that they were just desperate to get a coach who has been in the final of the champions league before (with a good record) and Tuchel is the available man for the job. You shouldn't blame the coach of the side of their failure of not doing well and remember he was the one who got them last season league trophy.
Tuchel has been doing well in all clubs he went to except for Dortmund, coming to Chelsea where he got fired has been a mystery to me, because I can't figure out why a man who won a club one of the biggest trophy in Europe (Champions League) got fired, he's a good coach and I don't see why he should be blamed for Bayern Munich carelessness this season, is just time for the bigger boys to take a bow for the other clubs to take control of the league for ones, that's what's happening.
But if you ask me if Tuchel can win the UCL (for Bayern) or even get to the finals I'll say no way because they're not the Bayern of 2 seasons ago and I like it this way for the smaller clubs to also compete for the title not only the big boys.
