If you are not connected to these accounts, how do you explain all three of you sharing the same OKX deposit address (394z4JuV7bMWAYtfb9dxF5f4QqzwKG8TTE). That is the second exchange address connecting you to this farm.

Holy hell, that's some deep investigation. Good job. Once you combine everything with all the merit transfers, it definitely settles it.

This guy's writing was just too perfect. He is doing everything else like he's supposed to.

Hey guy you had a good run with these 3 accounts. That is some easy money. But you know what you did was wrong.

And all of them have already been banned from forum  Grin

My regret theymos removed me from merit source because of inactivity. Otherwise I could have shared some merit for this excellent work.

Well done guys.

I just discovered this user, and all of his posts are AI-generated. I've included three posts as proof.

I think the AI angle gets the most attention, but it's probably only part of the story. Large companies regularly review costs, especially after periods of rapid hiring. AI may reduce the need for some routine roles, but it also creates demand for people who can build, manage, and improve those systems. The crypto industry has always adapted quickly to new technology, so I wouldn't be surprised if other exchanges continue restructuring over the next couple of years. The real question is whether these companies can maintain the same level of customer support and security while operating with smaller teams.

I wouldn't call gambling an investment because the expected outcome is fundamentally different. An investment is based on owning an asset that has the potential to grow in value over time, while gambling usually has a negative expected return built into the game. Buying Bitcoin through DCA is closer to investing because you're accumulating an asset with a long-term strategy instead of relying on random outcomes. Both involve risk, but the source of that risk is completely different.

I think using stablecoins for cross-border settlements is a much easier first step for large companies than accepting crypto directly from customers. For international payments, they reduce settlement time and currency conversion costs while avoiding the price volatility of Bitcoin. If these internal systems prove reliable and save money, it wouldn't surprise me if companies like Hyundai eventually expand crypto payment options to suppliers and later even to customers. Enterprise adoption usually starts behind the scenes before becoming visible to the public.

This user seemed so clever to start a project, but it turned out to be an AI-generated idea. His post was detected as AI-generated.

User: Akos26

We don’t lose Bitcoin. We lose the memory of where to look for it.

Hello everyone,

Over the past few days, I’ve been searching for my own old Bitcoin wallets, exchange accounts, and backup files created more than ten years ago.

During this search, I realized that I am probably not alone. There are likely hundreds of thousands - perhaps even millions - of people who still own digital assets but no longer remember where to look for them.

In many cases, the problem is not lost private keys.

The problem is lost memory.

Over time, people forget:

- which wallet they used;
- which exchanges they registered with;
- which email address they used;
- which computer stored the wallet;
- where backup files were saved.

While going through Bitcoin Core wallets, Blockchain.com accounts, old hard drives, and archived emails, I started wondering whether our community is missing an important resource.

The idea

I’m considering building an open community project called Crypto Lost & Found.

It would not be a wallet recovery service.

It would not ask for private keys, seed phrases, passwords, or access to anyone’s wallet.

Instead, its purpose would be to help people reconstruct their own crypto history and identify the most likely places to continue their search.

The platform could include:

- a historical catalog of wallets and exchanges;
- timelines showing how the ecosystem evolved over the years;
- an interactive assistant that helps users reconstruct their history through questions;
- information for identifying historical wallet files and backup formats;
- educational guides for safe recovery;
- community-contributed knowledge and documentation;
- warnings about common scams and unsafe recovery services.

Why I’m posting this

At this stage, I’m not asking for funding.

I’m trying to understand whether this is a real problem that others have experienced as well.

Perhaps similar resources already exist and I’ve simply missed them.

Or perhaps there is room for the community to build something useful together.

I’d really appreciate your thoughts.

- Have you experienced something similar?
- Does a resource like this already exist?
- Which features would be the most valuable?
- Would you trust and use such a platform?

Thank you.

Thank you for your feedback.

I may not have explained the idea clearly enough. This is not a service for tracing stolen coins or reversing blockchain transactions.

The project is intended for people who still have access to old computers, hard drives, email accounts or backups, but no longer remember which wallet or exchange they used. It could also help relatives who inherit a computer or storage device after the loss of a loved one and simply want to know whether it contains any crypto-related data.

The goal is simply to help people identify where to look, without ever asking for private keys, seed phrases or passwords.

Your comment shows that I should explain this distinction more clearly. Thank you.

Interesting point of view. “The road to hell is paved with good intentions” is a good reminder that without structure, even good ideas can create problems.
The purpose of this project is not to create a treasure map, but to bring order to the digital history of the past — to organize and understand information that already exists.

Another newbie was also detected as AI-generated in his posts. Four posts are included as evidence.

Everyone has a different journey into Bitcoin.

For some, it was the technology. For others, it was inflation, self-custody, or simply watching Bitcoin survive multiple market cycles.
What was the turning point for you?

Was there a specific article, book, event, or personal experience that made you take Bitcoin seriously?

One thing that changed my perspective is realizing Bitcoin doesn't have to be limited to just buying and holding forever. I used to think those were the only real options.

Over time I started learning about projects like Babylon that are exploring native Bitcoin utility while keeping self-custody. Whether people use them or not, it showed me the ecosystem is still evolving in ways I hadn't expected.

I think four years is too short to see Bitcoin completely change a country's economic leadership. Bitcoin can definitely become a strategic asset if governments continue accumulating it, but a country's economy still depends on many other factors like productivity, innovation, trade, and fiscal policy. In my opinion, over the next four years we'll probably see Bitcoin become more important in national reserves and financial strategy rather than replacing traditional economic fundamentals. The long-term impact could be significant, but it won't happen overnight.

That's a good point. People usually focus on whether quantum computers can break Bitcoin's cryptography, but the migration itself could be the bigger challenge. Even if a quantum-resistant upgrade is available, it still depends on users actually moving their coins. Active users will probably migrate, but dormant wallets, lost coins, and slow-moving institutions make the process much more complicated. In a decentralized network, coordination is often harder than the technical solution itself.

This newbie is the same. His post was also detected as AI-generated.

User: Lexandroove

I've been a holder for some time now, and I've always stayed away from wrapped BTC and most cross-chain stuff. Too much trust involved for my liking.

Recently, I came across a public testnet that lets you borrow against native BTC instead. I spent a little time trying it just to understand how it works.

It got me wondering whether this is something Bitcoiners actually want.

A lot of people say, "never sell your Bitcoin," but life happens. Sometimes people need liquidity without selling. Up until now, most options have involved either centralized lenders or wrapping BTC, and neither has been very appealing.

If there were a trust-minimized way to use native BTC as collateral, would you ever consider it? Or do you think borrowing against Bitcoin is something that goes against the whole point of holding it?

I don't see this topic discussed much on here, so I'm curious where people here stand.

Would you use something like this if the security model made sense, or do you think Bitcoin should stay as simple as possible and leave lending to other ecosystems?

Originality.io: 100%
GPTZero: AI Polished
StealthWriter: 100%
pangram: 100%

Yeah, Babylon was the one I was looking at. I only tried the public testnet because I wanted to see how they were approaching it, not because I was planning to start borrowing against my BTC.

I'm still mostly in the "buy and hold" camp myself. What got me curious was whether native BTC lending could be done without the usual wrapping or handing coins over to someone else. If that part can be solved in a trust-minimized way, I think it's an interesting piece of infrastructure, even if I don't end up using it often.

And I agree with you on the risks. I'd never move a significant part of my stack into something that's still new. That's partly why I started this thread, I wanted to see whether other Bitcoiners think this is a direction worth paying attention to, or if most people see it as unnecessary.

You're mixing two things. Yes, Babylon's native Bitcoin staking is trust-minimised and keeps BTC on the Bitcoin chain through self-custodial timelocks. But that doesn't automatically make all Bitcoin yield products equally risky. sBTC is a Bitcoin-backed asset designed for use on the Stacks ecosystem, not Babylon's native staking protocol. It's meant for different use cases like DeFi, lending, and smart contracts

Whether you choose native staking or sBTC depends on your risk tolerance and goals. For maximum security with minimal trust assumptions, Babylon staking would suffice, but for more yield in exchange for an extra level of risk, sBTC would be my pick.

Originality.io: 72%
GPTZero: 100%
StealthWriter: 100%
pangram: 100%

That's kind of what got me thinking in the first place. I know there are already centralized platforms where you can borrow against BTC, but those never really appealed to me because you're still trusting a third party with your coins.
The testnet I tried was Babylon's, and what interested me wasn't so much the lending itself, but the idea of using native BTC as collateral instead of wrapping it or handing custody over to someone else.

I'm not saying that removes all the risks, far from it. But if the trust assumptions are genuinely lower, then I think it's an interesting direction for Bitcoin infrastructure, even if most people ultimately decide to just keep holding their BTC.

In the very first thread this user created they were given advice not to use AI, which they have ignored and have not made a single human made post since, except for a few local board posts that may or may not be AI.

I think you understand that using AI to contribute to the forum will be a bad idea, so try to be sincere and be who you really are.

User: Nadifa2030

You make a thoughtful point. Rather than seeing AI and Bitcoin as competitors I see them as complementary technologies. AI can play a major role in improving security enabling smarter automation and analyzing blockchain data while Bitcoin can provide a decentralized censorship resistant payment system for an AI driven economy. At the same time as AI becomes more powerful the challenges around privacy and security will also grow. That's why the continued development of both AI and Bitcoin is important. In my view if these two technologies evolve together they could help build a stronger and more resilient digital economy.

However, the image presents a particular perspective, suggesting that life is mainly about education, career, wealth, family responsibilities, and social status, followed by aging and death. In reality, the meaning of life is much broader than this.

For different people the purpose of life may include :

  • Love and meaningful relationships
  • Spending time with family and friends
  • Helping others
  • Gaining knowledge and wisdom
  • Creativity and self-expression
  • Pursuing personal dreams and aspirations
  • Spiritual or religious growth
  • simply living a meaningful and fulfilling life

Therefore, the deeper message of the image may be:

“People spend a large part of their lives pursuing future goals and achievements. But if they fail to appreciate and enjoy the journey itself, those achievements may feel meaningless when they finally reach the destination.”

In other words, life is not only about the final destination the journey matters just as much. The real question is not simply where we begin or where we end, but how we choose to live the time in between.

Well explained 👏 Just to add a bit more from my side DCA is not only a strategy, it actually builds discipline. Investing regularly creates a habit, and in the long run, consistency matters more than trying to time the market. In crypto, emotions are the biggest enemy. People panic when price drops and get greedy when it pumps. With DCA, that emotional pressure is reduced a lot since you're following a fixed plan. Also, one important thing whether it’s Bitcoin or any other crypto, never invest blindly. Always do your own research. Have a clear idea why you're investing and how long you plan to hold. That makes decision-making much easier. At the end of the day, profit is important, but protecting your capital is even more important. Manage your risk wisely and move forward step by step. Slow and steady always wins 👍

AI user without referencing it:

A new analysis from blockchain risk monitoring platform AMLSol.live has revealed that approximately 20% of all cryptocurrency wallets exhibit elevated risk characteristics in their transaction patterns. The findings highlight the scale of compliance challenges facing the crypto industry, with one out of every five wallets flagged for potential exposure to illicit or high-risk activity.

The research draws on data from blockchain analytics and aligns with patterns observed in official studies, such as those by Japan's Financial Services Agency, which show that a significant proportion of transactions involving unhosted wallets are classified as high-risk—in some cases exceeding 96% for outgoing transfers. The same studies indicate that high-risk addresses are disproportionately concentrated among unhosted wallets and certain VASP categories, with some major platforms reporting that over 68% of incoming transactions are associated with elevated risk.

AMLSol.live's methodology incorporates multiple risk indicators, including the absence of robust Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, direct connections to known malicious addresses (such as those linked to fraud, extortion, or ransomware), and exposure to mixing services or darknet markets. An entity is deemed high-risk when it demonstrates a high exposure to such services, operates in a jurisdiction with weak AML/CFT measures, or lacks proper licensing.

The findings underscore the difficulty of identifying account holders behind risky wallets, with data showing that over 97% of addresses associated with stolen funds could not be linked to a known account name. "This poses a significant problem for compliance teams," a spokesperson for AMLSol.live noted. "With one in five wallets presenting a red flag, the volume of alerts is a major operational burden. However, it also makes the case for better data sharing and more effective screening tools to prevent illicit finance without alienating legitimate users."

The report calls for greater collaboration between the public and private sectors and urges wallet providers to enhance security measures, including real-time address screening. It also points to the growing pressure on non-custodial wallet services to implement stricter KYC procedures as regulators worldwide intensify their focus on the crypto ecosystem.

Nutildah — I have a bright idea, let’s hate AI but use AI and make up what is considered “spam”, then let’s spam on top of spam just to double the amount of it on the forum and merit farm. (That’s all this thread is. Moronic & Senseless)

This topic, “AI SPAM REPORT REFERENCE THREAD:” its entire 117 pages, and all of its participants engage in SPAM! The whole entire thing consists of AI SPAM x2. This is all useless noise and this all should be deleted.

This is all useless noise and this all should be deleted.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5456516.0

It seems to me that you have some grudge against Nutildah and that’s none of my business but i don’t see the reason why you’re diminishing the importance and value that this particular thread has brought to the forum by calling it moronic and senseless.

You might disagree with how the thread is being run but that doesn’t change the fact that it has served as a useful reference in the forum’s effort to combat Ai generated slop.

Whether you like it or not, people now have to think twice before posting AI garbage because they know there’s a real chance that they might get reported or tagged and to me i see that as a positive development because it encourages more users to put more effort into their post instead of relying on low quality Ai generated content.

If anything, you should be happy about an initiative like this instead of throwing unnecessary tantrums.

Yup, Inflation is definitely one of the biggest challenges people face today because it affects the cost of food, housing and other basic needs, making daily life more difficult for millions people. But then however, I don't think it stands alone as the single greatest problem, since issues like war, corruption and fraud often contribute to inflation or make its effects even worse, so.like fixing the monetary system may help, but lasting solutions also require stronger institutions and policies that improve economic stability.

I believe corruption can be fought, even in a country like Nigeria, but then it requires more than just promises from leaders
Strong institutions, an independent judiciary and the citizens who hold public officials accountable are all necessary for this change to be truly implemented.
Of course leadership doesn't automatically make people corrupt, but you see unchecked power, mixed with weak enforcement of laws and a culture of impunity can encourage corruption. Even while it is discouraging when those meant to fight corruption are implicated in it, lasting change is still possible if institutions are strengthened and both leaders and citizens are held to the same standards under the law.

I think beginners should keep it simple at first instead of trying to learn everything at once, I mean understanding what Bitcoin is, how to store it safely and why its price is volatile is more important than jumping straight into technical analysis or just copying experienced traders because you too went to cash out.  You can follow market news and engage with reputable communities which can help grow your knowledge but new investors should avoid making decisions based on hype or social media opinions because building knowledge gradually and focusing on long-term learning will usually lead to better decisions than trying to trade every price movement.

Yea discipline is what turns financial knowledge into real results, things like budgeting, saving and even investing are all practical habits not just concepts to understand with theory alone and at the same time, it is worth recognizing that your financial success isn't really determined by discipline alone, you obviously need a good income level and less unexpected expenses and also the economic conditions also play a role but like still, consistently living within your means, prioritizing essential needs over wants and sticking to a realistic budget are like among the most effective habits anyone can build, regardless of their income because long-term financial stability comes from making good decisions repeatedly and not just knowing what those decisions are.

Most beginners enter Bitcoin focused on price, not understanding. That’s usually where mistakes start.
Bitcoin isn’t a salary, a quick flip, or a guaranteed income stream. It’s a decentralized monetary system with a fixed supply. If you don’t understand that foundation, volatility will shake you out.
The basics matter more than charts:
Learn what private keys and seed phrases are.
Don’t treat exchanges like banks.
Understand that confirmations mean security, not delay.
Most losses come from impatience — buying hype, panic selling dips, overexposing funds you can’t afford to lose.
A better approach? Start small, learn how the network works, think long term, and focus on security. Bitcoin rewards discipline more than excitement.

The rising cost of housing in Nigeria is no longer just an economic issue—it is a national concern affecting livelihoods, productivity, and social stability. For millions of Nigerians, owning or renting a decent home has become increasingly out of reach due to soaring building material prices, complex land acquisition processes, inadequate infrastructure, and limited access to affordable mortgages.
Addressing this challenge requires deliberate and coordinated action. Simplifying land documentation, investing in infrastructure, and promoting the local production of building materials can significantly reduce construction costs. Expanding access to low-interest housing finance, encouraging public-private partnerships, and embracing innovative, cost-effective building technologies will further boost housing supply and affordability. Additionally, developing satellite towns can ease the pressure on overcrowded urban centres.
Affordable housing is not a luxury—it is a necessity and a driver of national development. When citizens have access to decent shelter, communities thrive, productivity increases, and the economy grows. The time to act is now.

On a Bitcoin forum, what really matters isn’t how long your post is or how excited it sounds — it’s whether you’re actually adding something useful.
A solid post shows you understand the topic and can explain it in a clear, simple way. Instead of just saying “Bitcoin is the future,” you explain why you think so, using logic, examples, or even your own experience.
Good posts usually:
Break down technical topics like fees, confirmations, mining, or halvings in plain terms
Rely on reasoning rather than emotion
Correct others respectfully
Share personal lessons with some reflection
Encourage real discussion instead of blind hype
Quick, empty replies don’t get much attention. One thoughtful post is often more valuable than many shallow ones.

I’m still learning Bitcoin and I want to properly understand transaction confirmations. I know that a confirmation happens when a transaction is included in a block, but I’m confused about why exchanges usually require multiple confirmations before crediting funds.
From what I’ve read, this has to do with security and preventing double spending. The more confirmations a transaction has, the harder it becomes to reverse it, since an attacker would need to reorganize several blocks instead of just one. That makes sense, but I’m curious why the number differs between services—some require 2 confirmations, others 6 or even more.
Is the difference mainly about risk tolerance and transaction value, or are there other technical reasons behind it? Also, at what point is a transaction generally considered “practically irreversible” on the Bitcoin network?
I’d appreciate explanations from more experienced users so I can understand this better and avoid mistakes in the future

Bitcoin isn’t a salary, and it shouldn’t be treated like one.
A salary is steady. You know when it’s coming and roughly how much you’ll get. It’s what you use to pay rent, buy food, handle transport, and take care of family responsibilities. Bitcoin doesn’t work like that. Its price can move sharply within days or even hours.
If you depend on Bitcoin to cover monthly expenses, you’re putting yourself under pressure. What happens if the market drops the week your bills are due? You might be forced to sell at a loss.
It makes more sense to separate the two. Let your regular income handle your day-to-day needs. Use Bitcoin as savings or a long-term investment if you believe in it. That way, you’re not stressed by short-term price changes.
Bitcoin can build wealth over time. A salary keeps your life running today. Mixing both roles often creates problems.

Historical DCA results depend on the selected price source, time interval, fiat conversion method and treatment of fees.

If any of those assumptions change, will users still be able to reproduce a calculation generated under an older version of the website?

A short permanent methodology journal—possibly through Opstan or another immutable publication platform—could show exactly when each calculation rule was introduced. Would that be useful for your tool?
Combining private communication with Lightning payments makes Radar.Chat’s metadata, retention and security guarantees especially important.

Do you preserve the original wording of those guarantees whenever the protocol or application changes, or does the documentation show only the current version?

Perhaps the most important public commitments and security disclosures could also be published through an append-only network such as Opstan, without putting any private messages or user data on-chain.
A Bitcoin holdings tool depends heavily on trust in its privacy model, supported data sources and calculation rules.

If those policies change in a future release, where will early users be able to verify exactly what the tool promised when they first started using it?

Would you consider preserving major privacy and security commitments on a permanent public platform such as Opstan, instead of relying only on an editable website or repository documentation?
Users evaluating a market-data platform need more than the current output—they also need to understand which data sources, assumptions and engine rules produced older results.

Can someone verify the exact CryptoBreaker methodology that was active when a previous market assessment was generated?

It might be useful to anchor important methodology changes in an immutable public history through Opstan or another append-only platform, while continuing to publish normal updates through your existing channels.
The sandbox is useful because it turns abstract concepts such as UTXOs, fees and mempool behavior into something users can actually test.

Do you keep a historical record of which Bitcoin assumptions and software behavior each version demonstrates? If an explanation is corrected later, a learner may otherwise see only the newest wording.

Platforms built for permanent publications, including Opstan, could be useful for keeping a verifiable release journal alongside the interactive sandbox. Have you considered that?
Teaching Bitcoin through a game is a good way to make subjects such as mining, wallets and transactions easier to understand.

As the lessons are corrected and expanded, will players be able to see how the educational content has changed? Simply rewriting an old explanation can hide useful corrections and earlier mistakes.

Would it make sense to publish major lesson releases in a permanent channel, for example on Opstan, while keeping the game itself flexible and easy to update?
The UTXO model and address structure will probably change as you receive technical feedback, but those earlier designs may still be valuable for understanding why the final architecture was chosen.

How are you planning to preserve the original proposal, rejected alternatives and reasons behind each important revision?

One option could be a permanent project journal through Opstan or another immutable publication network, where every new revision is added without erasing the previous one.
A new address format may eventually be implemented by wallets, explorers and third-party services, so developers will need to know exactly which specification applied at every stage.

Will earlier versions of the checksum rules, encoding format and compatibility guarantees remain publicly available after the documentation is updated?

Have you considered recording major specification releases through an append-only service such as Opstan, so the original rules cannot later be silently replaced?
I read your updated genesis block post. Since the genesis identity, initial parameters and launch assumptions may become the reference point for every future release, do you plan to maintain a permanent public history of all consensus decisions, corrections and launch commitments?

Git can preserve source changes, but explanations, announcements and roadmap statements can still be edited or disappear. How will a future node operator verify exactly what the project originally stated at launch?

As I quote below, even with his long writings that are completely incomprehensible, instead of making relevant posts, he is promoting his site in other people's threads like here.

Thank you for the question — this is actually one of the key points of Opstan.

Opstan is not just “a blockchain for storage.” The main idea is to build a decentralized public social network where posts, public messages, records, timestamps, and reputation history are secured by Proof-of-Work.

For very large files, videos, images, or archives, it is not necessary or efficient to store everything directly inside the blockchain. A better approach is to store the large data externally and keep the hash, proof, reference, or public record on-chain. This makes tampering visible: if someone edits or changes the original content later, the proof will no longer match.

So the point is not to replace every storage system. The point is to create a strong public layer where important information cannot be silently deleted, rewritten, censored, or hidden by one central company.

For bloggers, journalists, analysts, traders, communities, and public figures, this can be very powerful. Their public history becomes transparent. Their reputation becomes long-term. If someone makes honest work, it stays visible. If someone constantly promotes scams, fake news, or deletes mistakes, that history also becomes visible.

Of course, journalism is a serious field, and not everything should be public. Sources, private information, and sensitive data must be protected. Opstan is focused on public posts and public reputation, not forcing private information into the blockchain.

This is why we believe Opstan has real purpose:
a decentralized social network secured by PoW, where public information, reputation, and history become much harder to manipulate.

So yes, storage is important — but the bigger idea is proof, transparency, censorship resistance, and long-term public trust.

Financial discipline is one of the best habits everybody need to develop because it helps you make better financial decisions instead of acting on impulse.. Saving may not always be easy, especially with the way things are today, but consistency is what really makes the difference..
Even if you start small, staying disciplined and sticking to the habit over time can lead to real financial progress. Small and consistent steps today can make a big difference in the future..

Before person put money for any investment, e make sense make e first understand wetin e dey enter.. For Bitcoin, if you nor know how e dey work, every small news or criticism go shake you, and na there fear go push person make wrong decision..

But once you understand the basics and accept say volatility na part of the game, you nor go just dey react to every headline or wetin people talk. You go dey make decisions based on knowledge instead of emotions. At the end of the day, no investment dey without risk, na understanding wetin you invest in dey help person handle those risks better..

Trading fit give better returns Yes, but the risk dey higher because no strategy dey win every time.. If person nor get discipline, e go lose money even if e sabi analysis well..

While for long term investment, the pressure nor too much like trading. As long as person buy Bitcoin and get patience, e get better chance to grow over time.. But like you talk, both nor be shortcut to wealth. Whether na trading or holding, you been consistency and patience na wetin go determine the result in the long run..

Like having a stable income makes DCA easier because consistency na the whole idea behind am..  If your income dey steady, e go dey easier to plan how much you fit buy every week or month without stress.. But I also feel say nor be everybody go get everything sorted before dem start..
Some people fit start with very small amounts while they still dey work on improving their finances. The most important thing be say make person no use money meant for bills or borrow money just because e wan buy Bitcoin.. I get your point..  keeping both your winning and losing slips could actually help. because you can always look back and see where your thinking was right or where you missed something..
But still, learning from them does not mean the next bet will be win oo.. It just gives you a better idea of what you could have done differently. Gambling is still unpredictable, so every slip is just another lesson, not a guarantee.

I saw this guy and initially gave him a pass since he's just advertising his own project and not part of a real campaign. Projects that start out with AI slop in their OP are still projects, I guess.

Upon closer inspection he seems to be systematically posting in different ANN threads for the sake of advertising his project. I'm not sure if it will slow him down but I reversed my decision and gave him a 2-year sig ban.

Even though crude oil prices drop in the international market, that doesn't mean that the pump prices in every country will follow the same direction immediately. Other things like transportation costs, taxes, exchange rates and even government policies can affect the final price that consumers will pay. Okay, you see, for a country like Nigeria, the exchange rate alone can reduce the benefit of lower global oil prices. So while people hope for cheaper fuel, the real impact will depend on how different factors come together and how long the prices of oil remain lower.
AI post with minor changes by the user and addition of "personal" information to hide the copying of information from AI, but he did not hide the key phrase well enough. Direct ChatGPT quote from just pasting in the thread:

Quote
Whether consumers see lower prices at the pump depends on more than just crude oil. Refining costs, transportation, taxes, exchange rates, and local government policies all play a role.
No detectors were used or needed for this detection, I was working with the AI during the time when I was reading some responses in this thread and this order of words caught my attention. Then I checked and replicated the output, which is better than a generator -- I find them increasingly unreliable as many have started to sell "humanize" services, because of which they have an incentive to falsely label text as AI. Merit history also confirms this is a farmed account. @nutildah signature ban please.

Whether consumers see lower prices at the pump depends on more than just crude oil. Refining costs, transportation, taxes, exchange rates, and local government policies all play a role.
No detectors were used or needed for this detection, I was working with the AI during the time when I was reading some responses in this thread and this order of words caught my attention. Then I checked and replicated the output, which is better than a generator -- I find them increasingly unreliable as many have started to sell "humanize" services, because of which they have an incentive to falsely label text as AI. Merit history also confirms this is a farmed account. @nutildah signature ban please.
I don't really know what you are saying dude, I'm really surprised you said my post are generated by ai but guess what, you can check the results I got below 👇

You should try understand that most of this ai detectors don't give accurate results because they also make mistakes.

Guess what, in case you don't know, you can check this thread below

Jr. Member fibonacciopstan is shitposting all over the tech boards. He needs about half a minute to "type" each post.
It seems another wave of probable spamming/farming account is back to spam tech boards. I reported fair amount of posts and tag accounts this week.
I really don't get why Mods don't ban him. @Mitchell?
I have 10 good reports against him, modlog shows 27 deleted posts in a week, and all he got is a Sigban (thanks nutildah). Users like this are a net-negative to the forum, and if 10 reports isn't enough, it's very demotivating to continue.

I cannot ban. I can only nuke Newbie members and clean up posts in sections I moderate. You are better off pinging global mods/admins.

I'll pass it along the chain. Should've done so before, but forgot due to busy with other stuff/life.

EDIT: They are banned (and were reported before I did).
