What's the verdict on realusinvestment? It looks like this bounty spammer woke up to shitpost chatbot verbal diarrhea on the tech board: That kind of frequent corruption is not normal. Bitcoin Core’s database is usually very reliable if the hardware and filesystem are stable. A few things you might want to check:
External SSDs (especially USB drives) can sometimes cause write issues if the cable, port, or power delivery isn’t stable. Even if you run bitcoin-cli stop, if the OS still has cached writes in memory and the drive disconnects early, corruption can happen.
Make sure your SSD is formatted with a filesystem that handles journaling well (e.g., ext4 on Linux). FAT32/ExFAT can be more fragile with heavy database writes.
Try disabling “write cache” on the external drive or ensure sync is fully complete before unplugging/umounting.
If possible, run the node on an internal SSD or at least test it there. That will confirm if the external drive is the weak point.
In short: it’s not Bitcoin Core itself causing this — it’s almost always the storage medium or how the OS flushes data.

Some AI-generated posts have been deleted, but this person doesn't seem to mind and continues to try to create AI-generated posts. gptzero 23% sapling 93.6% sidekicker 72% Bitcoin will continue to grow because fiat currencies have no bottom they always lose value over time. Can there be periods when fiat currencies rally or strengthen, even for a long time? Absolutely. If you look at the gold chart over the last 50 years, you can see there were quite long periods of stagnation. For example, from 2011 to 2015, gold experienced a bear market, dropping from around $2,000 per ounce to about $1,000 per ounce. So, like gold, Bitcoin might go through corrections or stagnation phases, but in the long run, it tends to grow because fiat currencies continuously loses purchasing power.
gptzero : 43% Copyleaks : 100% Likely AI-Generated Zerogpt :100% Thank you for sharing this story its really a sad and difficult situation. I believe its very important for the daughter to know the truth about her father. She is unknowingly sacrificing herself and her belongings to help him, which could harm her deeply in the long run.
Of course, the truth should be shared with care and understanding because it can be painful, but she deserves to know what is really going on. Knowing the real problem might help her find the right kind of support, both for herself and possibly for her father.
I agree that staying silent and watching the daughter suffer is not a good option. My advice would be to gently and kindly help her see the reality, and then support her in seeking professional help if needed.
GPTzero 94% AI generated Blockchain only makes sense as a monetary protocol and money Bitcoin. Everything else is an scam.Blockchain is technologies developed in the 1990s, but until Bitcoin, it had no meaningful or practical use. It was Bitcoin that gave blockchain its first and only real purpose as the foundation for decentralized money.Blockchain only makes sense when combined with Proof of Work. Without it, it loses its essence decentralization, security, and censorship resistance.Blockchain by itself is nothing more than a distributed database, but a very expensive and inefficient one. Unlike traditional databases, which are fast and cheap, blockchain is slow and requires enormous resources to maintain. Without additional mechanisms like Proof of Work, it has no real value, because its infrastructure is too complex and costly for what it provides
Mainstream media and propaganda have often pushed the narrative that blockchain is something big and revolutionary while portraying Bitcoin as insignificant or secondary. In reality, the truth is the opposite Bitcoin is the fundamental innovation that gives blockchain its meaning, while blockchain by itself is just a technology without real value similar narrative is used by various scamers crypto and token creators to promote their projects and offer new ‘uses’ for blockchain that make no real sense. When you dig deeper and examine closely, it becomes clear that only Bitcoin has true meaning and real value on the blockchain, while other uses are mostly impractical or unnecessary.

Pathetic, don’t you have anything better to do in life than go around falsely accusing people? What’s your motive? Did the truth I share in my posts upset you, are you a shitcoiner scammer, selling people scam shitcoins, or is some other truth in my posts bothering you? There’s such a thing as karma, all the evil you do will come back to you.
Instead of blaming him for his good work (yes, it is very good IMO) you must explain why your posts in questions are high in AI content? This thread is not for falsely accusing anyone. Are you using third party grammar correction tools that use AI to change the structure? No body is afraid of the truths you are claiming to reveal in your posts either (honestly, I don't see any such revelation).

Is it permissible to use AI and modify it to look like human writing? His last post appears to have been written by AI. I think this should be a really interesting match. Arsenal are at home and have been playing well recently, but they’re missing a few key players. City are still a strong team, so there could be chances at both ends. Overall, it looks set to be a competitive game.
If I'm not mistaken, this user was already in this thread? However, some posts still scream about the use of AI. There are several reasons why nodes might not be synchronizing or could be rejecting your connection. Some nodes might be offline or experiencing technical issues. They might be running outdated or incompatible software versions. Firewalls or network restrictions can block incoming connections. Some nodes are “pruned” and don’t store the full blockchain history, which limits synchronization. Temporary network problems or attacks like DDoS can cause disruptions. Also, some nodes intentionally reject unknown connections for security reasons.

The smartest approach is to focus on matches with a clear favorite and logical connections between markets, like the winner and total goals. Adding too many options, like cards or corners, often reduces the chances of winning and feels more like gambling than a well-thought-out prediction. Used selectively and with proper analysis, it can offer better odds than a single bet, but it’s not a replacement for a well-researched wager.

Primarily, there is the issue of privacy and personal data protection, as a global database of self-exclusion users could be misused. Additionally, accurately identifying addiction through wallet activity may be unreliable and could result in errors, blocking regular players. Finally, there is still the possibility of circumventing the system through alternative identities or intermediaries

I tested the contents of this post in GPTZero and got this result. Also: Sapling: 100% fake gptinf: 96% sidekicker: 95% Funny that it's a promotional post by a seemingly official casino account too. A marketing agent must have gotten very trigger happy prompting AI to write a long winded and disgustingly detailed "analysis" article for a single match that nobody in the gambling discussion section would read anyway. Hopefully mods will act soon because we can't be having AI slop for every single match.

It's good that you don't suspect him.
What makes me think that every post is written by AI is the flat, neat-looking word structure.
Perhaps he's a teacher. The standard grammar seems inhuman. Is it permissible to use AI and modify it to look like human writing?
His last post appears to have been written by AI.
Actually I saw a couple of other posts by him recently that made me change my mind -- he is indeed going to great lengths to "humanize" his AI-written posts. He takes a fairly bland and formulaic AI post and then changes the punctuation to make it almost unreadable. Also, the findings by lovesmayfamilis kinda cements the case. For a long time, this person confined their posts to the Serbian and Croatian boards, then all the sudden started posting these long-winded takes in English. I'd say there's a strong chance they are using an AI-based translator and a smaller chance they are just asking AI to write their posts for them (which are bad -- most of their posts are just straight up garbage, but that's not what this thread is about). Funny that it's a promotional post by a seemingly official casino account too. A marketing agent must have gotten very trigger happy prompting AI to write a long winded and disgustingly detailed "analysis" article for a single match that nobody in the gambling discussion section would read anyway.
I notice that posts written for the sake of marketing usually don't get deleted, especially if its the first post in a thread about the product/service. Not really worth reporting those so much as AI slop posted to fulfill a campaign requirement.

I think you were a little pessimistic in your assessment about if threads done for marketing would get deleted. Indeed it got deleted. As of the AI use, which I think we have enough evidence. It's not just the detectors but also many visial clues.
For instance, us humans will write much smaller paragraphs. Each paragraph in this post was like an essay on its own. There's also blatant use of emojis. And moreover making the formatting structured a little too similar in each paragraph. If a Human wrote that he'd have thought of it as text and not as a symmetrical shape. Here, each paragraph started the same with bolded text and a colon. These are not mistakes per se but rather very formulaic writing.
Even without AI though I think there was another rule being broken. That of having one promotional thread per service. They could be posting their analysis as responses to their site's OP once a day to fit bump rules. Other casinos make big events like competitions which I've noticed has been allowed as separate threads.

I sent reports to the moderators, and they removed his posts. I doubt he did it himself. And yes, each of his long, verbose posts, each saying practically the same thing, seems like he's carefully proofreading his posts but using the AI as a template. Until we find 100% of the errors, we'll keep seeing this kind of work. I can't say it's particularly annoying; there are plenty of similar posts on the forum, and their authors can simply be ignored.

AI User DyvynFXPost https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5559843.msg65834140#msg65834140Alright😁,so you want to snag some Bitcoin without breaking the bank—or maybe you're willing to invest a little. The good news is, there's a whole spectrum of ways to do it. Here's the real talk on the most common methods, from the lazy person's guide to the full-on tech enthusiast's project.
1. The "Set It and Forget It" Method: Bitcoin Rewards Cards This is probably the easiest hack if you spend money regularly. You just use a special card for your everyday stuff—think groceries or gas—and instead of getting lame cashback, you get Bitcoin. It’s pretty sweet and passive, but a quick word of caution: if it's a credit card, treat it like cash. Pay it off every month, or the interest will totally wipe out your gains.
2. The "Get Paid to Learn" Side Hustle I love this one for beginners.Platforms like Coinbase have sections where you watch a couple of super-short videos about a crypto and then answer a super simple quiz. They throw a few dollars of the crypto your way for doing it. It’s free, surprisingly educational, and zero risk. Don't expect to retire, but it’s a perfect way to start.
3. The Classic Sign-Up Bonus This is basically the"free money" of the crypto world. Lots of exchanges will give you a small bonus (like $5-10 in Bitcoin) just for signing up and maybe making your first small trade. They also almost always have referral programs. So if you get your friends to join, you both get a little bonus. Can't complain about that.
4. Bitcoin Faucets (The "Pocket Change" Approach) Okay,so these are websites that give you tiny, tiny fractions of a Bitcoin (called satoshis) for clicking ads or solving CAPTCHAs. Let's be real: the pay is microscopic. It’s less about earning real money and more about just seeing how a Bitcoin transaction works without any pressure. I tried it once and it felt like collecting pennies, but hey, it's something.
5. Making Your Crypto Work for You If you already have some Bitcoin or other coins sitting around, you can put them to work. You can lend them out on certain platforms or "stake" other types of cryptocurrencies, and some services will pay you your rewards in Bitcoin. This is a step up and comes with more risk—you're trusting someone else with your assets, so you gotta do your homework.
6. Mining: The Hardcore Route This is how Bitcoin is born, but it's not the gold rush it was in 2010. Now, you need to buy really expensive, specialized computers that guzzle electricity. It's a super competitive space, and honestly, it's tough to make a profit unless you have cheap power and really know what you're doing. You'll also see "cloud mining" services advertised, but be warned—a lot of those are straight-up scams.
The bottom line? Just start with what feels right for you. The free options are honestly the best way to dip your toes in and learn the ropes without any stress.

I was coming to report this guy also, although according to the OP's suggestion, it would be too soon to tag him on his profile, since it's only his first post. However, everyone is free to do whatever they want with their tags. It doesn't look like this guy came to the forum to learn and share, but for my part, I'm going to refrain from tagging his profile for now.

For the most part, moderators won't delete a service announcement written using AI. As far as marketing and promotional material is concerned, the mods probably consider an extra element of whether a post is redundant or spammy which doesn't factor in to non-promotional posts. But this may not be 100% the case and I think its good to report it whenever you see it. The less of this stuff there is on the forum, the better. If people want to post AI nothingness for the sake of promoting themselves, they have other platforms like X, Facebook and Reddit on which to do it.

I personally stopped reporting service announcement threads that were using AI, the reason being that they weren't deleted. I remember there was a topic about "accepted" usage of AI, if I remember correctly, in which we discussed that it's not a major issue to use AI for the ANN thread. There, I pointed out that it would be unacceptable, if the responses to user questions or feedback were also AI, in which most users agreed. Therefore, I'd only report someone who's still actively using it because they're too lazy to even reply themselves to a potential customer or investor. These posts were ultimately deleted after reporting.

The thing is, the proper use of AI increases productivity. Just as a task that takes you an hour to do in Excel can be done in one minute by Copilot, if you have a business, making a presentation with AI saves you time and probably does it better than you can. This is accepted by moderation because AI does not pull information out of thin air; it pulls it from your business. Fortunately, moderation, which I understand follows orders from theymos, is not so backward on this issue.

User: Xun hu Alright, so here’s the deal. I dipped my toe into Bitcointalk.org recently and, wow, it’s like wandering into a crypto version of The Matrix. I mean, can we talk about the sea of posts? Feels like everyone’s been living there since Satoshi himself was around, while I’m just tripping over my own shoelaces.
So, here’s my two satoshis on surviving as a newbie:
1. Actually read. No, really. Don’t just scroll and play “Where’s Waldo” with buzzwords. When you check out threads like “Trader’s Lounge” or “Altcoin Discussion,” dig a little. Ask yourself why those grizzled veterans say what they do—it’s not always basic stuff. Sometimes, a throwaway comment is a gold nugget in disguise.
2. Ask questions, but don’t be that guy. Please, for the love of all things crypto, check if someone’s already asked. The search function exists for a reason. And if you do ask—short, sweet, and to the point. Polite works wonders, you know?
3. Even tiny wins count. Just grabbed your first tiny slice of BTC? Struggled through your first trade and only lost, like, three bucks? Say it! There’s no “rookie shame.” People actually notice when you show up often and share, even if you think your story’s minor.
4. Don’t be a spam bot. Keep the posts relevant. Nobody wants to listen to someone spewing nonsense about their new YouTube channel or whatever. It’s a forum, not your personal promo stage. Plus, following the rules = people actually take you seriously.
5. Stick around. You don’t have to camp there all day, but 10 minutes here, 20 minutes there, and boom—suddenly, people know your name. The random guy in the crowd? Now you’ve got regulars nodding at your posts.
Seriously, if you’re sweating just reading all this, chill. Every one of those forum legends started somewhere. Dive in, mess up a little, ask your “dumb” questions (they’re not), and just keep showing up. That’s pretty much the cheat code for most things in life anyway, isn’t it?
Copyleaks and GPTzero 100% AI. Quillbot 0% AI. I don't know if opening a thread on this topic is appropriate, but I feel the need to open this thread due to the possible damages recently caused.
Recently, the "Devil's Wind" has caused widespread wildfires in California, particularly in areas like Los Angeles, leading to significant damage. These winds are dry, warm, and fast-moving, which makes them conducive to wildfires.
I have learned that recently, some people lost their cryptocurrency holdings due to the fires in Los Angeles. Their homes and the private keys to their wallets were destroyed. For example, a 70-year-old woman lost her apartment to the fire, along with her cryptocurrency. She had written her private key on paper, which was destroyed in the fire. As a result, she permanently lost access to her digital assets.
There are some effective steps we can take to protect ourselves from such losses:
Using hardware wallets like Ledger or Trezor to keep private keys offline, which provides physical security and protects from loss or destruction.
Keeping backups of private keys or recovery phrases in multiple secure locations.
Using wallets that require multiple signatures for access.
If private keys are written on paper, ensuring that the storage location is fireproof.
Copyleaks 100% AI. GPTzero: 31% AI. Quillbot: 75% AI. I don't see any more AI-generated posts in his short post history but I'm going to leave him a tag as a warning, so he doesn't continue down that path. I might delete it in the future.

They don't understand one thing.. when they come to a forum they first learn about the forum but without doing these things and they post AI and get a warning. Every post they make seems to be written on a chatbot. User: salsk33Hi everyone,
I’m interested in discussing Bitcoin from both an investment and technological perspective. Bitcoin has proven to be the pioneer of decentralized finance, and its influence continues to grow.
Some points I’d like to discuss:
Adoption Trends: How do you see Bitcoin adoption evolving globally in the next 5 years?
Scaling Solutions: Do you think Lightning Network and other scaling solutions will solve transaction speed and fee issues?
Regulation Impact: How do government regulations affect Bitcoin’s growth and price stability?
Investment Strategies: Long-term holding vs active trading—what strategies are working best in today’s market?
I’d love to hear your insights, experiences, and predictions. Let’s make this a productive discussion about Bitcoin’s future.
Thanks!

The two posts I made have been deleted. I didn't report them (sometimes I do, but I don't know why I didn't this time). Although I wouldn't be surprised if, even if no one had reported them, a moderator who saw my post took action. <...> is posted by AI. The reputation of the forum is ruined because of these garbage people.
I don't think so. When I started on the forum, there was a much more serious spam problem than there is now. No matter how much AI there is, the merit system is a barrier that crushes many of these spammers. I don't understand what problem they have if they come to the forum, learn good things and move forward.
Money talks. If there were no possibility of earning money on this forum, there would be AI, as I see on other forums, but not of this kind, such as trying to appear to be a good writer in order to gain merit, then move up in rank, then monetise the account. It would be a more lik funny use of AI.

What's the verdict on LordDj? His post history reads like chatbot verbal diarrhea: Bitcoin Core encrypts only the privately keys in your wallet.dat file using AES-256 to protect your funds. Encryption does not affected the wallet's tree in the way other information, such as transaction history or addresses, which remain unencrypte. A strong passphrase is the most important factor in securing your wallet against brute-force attacking A Starting a business can be exciting! What kind of business are you thinking of starting? Here are some steps to consider: 1 Research your market: Understand your target audience and competition. 2 Develop a business plan: Outline your goals, strategies, and financial projections. 3 Choose a business structure: Decide on a sole proprietorship, partnership, LLC, or corporation. 4 Secure funding: Explore options like loans, grants, or investors. 5 Build a team: Hire employees or partners who share your vision.

There is no doubt that merit system is a hindrance (or motivator for good posters) for spammers. People usually merit for useful stuff if there is a relatability factor also which is kind of still missing in AI posts. However, I still think AI is getting there (if not already). Money talks. If there were no possibility of earning money on this forum, there would be AI, as I see on other forums, but not of this kind, such as trying to appear to be a good writer in order to gain merit, then move up in rank, then monetise the account. Even if you are not a good writer you will still grow and earn. This is a misconception among new members who think you have to look neat and clean with your pinpoint punctuations lol.
