Chelsea’s efforts weren’t in vain; Morgan Rogers put them back in the lead, and their hard work paid off again when Palmer extended the lead to three goals, forcing Fulham to play catch-up and work hard to narrow the score from 1-3.
It was Garcia who gave Fulham something to celebrate, even though they ultimately lost the match.
Week 1 saw many surprises in the Premier League. We’ll see in the second round if there will be any more surprises.

Surprises will never cease until the final match day.

To be fair, if they can play every team the same way they played Chelsea, they might make top 5 to finish this season. Manchester City was not good, Manchester United was awfull, Totenham was also awfull, Arsenal was good like the past season, and Chelsea seems to start a recovery and looking for better shape and Liverpool was also not good despite playing against a tough rival like Newcastle.

So basically 4 teams of the big six are not in good shape in this start at all, and only one did a really good game which was the current champion, this give Arsenal a margin to be again the champion i think (i know is super early yet).

At least Manchester City got the necessary opening day three points,  there will be room for more improvements. Thanks to Ryan Cherki for creating magic.
Manchester United?! A laughable team! Players like Bruno Fernandes and Luke Shaw are already taking a dig at Michael Carrick, I don't even rate even as a fan. They still have the likes 9f Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw in this same squad  what will thry even win?! Tottenham Hotspur will also improve, Zerbi will make things work. Arsenal will sure do better than they did last season, I tip them to win the league again.
Liverpool will have to add an energetic midfielder and a winger like Barcola to see them fighting upwards, they don't look good. Chelsea also will bite hard this season, my take is that they finish second place behind Arsenal.

Well, in football nothing is impossible and I don't even see Hull city as underdog team because they did absolutely well in their division last season  so I'm not surprised rather I was expecting Manchester united to win. one thing i believe is that Manchester united will sit up in their upcoming match against Ipswich, although I know a lot of people was expecting them to win this first leg of which I'm one among those  people but they couldn't, the annoying part of it is that I include them in my bet and they were the only team that mess up my target.

First games at the start of a season is where you begin to show prospect as one of the elite teams in the league. With Hull City being a newly promoted side, it doesn’t matter how good they performed in the championship.
Looking at the tempo Manchester United performed last season, it’s only right to expect them to win Hull city and most of all, their first game like we saw Arsenal made easy work of Coventry but, we didn’t see that.

After the end of last season there was a whole tournament, the biggest tournament in the world, which is the world cup and after that there was a little break, the players got back and started to train again, you don't expect transition from the past season into the new season because aside all I have written, new players were signed and at this point any team can either have a fantastic start or have a shaky start.
Manchester United can always get back, although yes based on recognition Manchester United should not be losing to Hull City.

First game really tells us alot about what a team is going to do in the league, as we say; “First impression is the Last impression” so if Man U or any other team come in blasting in the first matches of the season we can predict what team’s morale is in place and whichever team is a little off. But still a few games at start are too early to decide a winner, for a winner to be decided we have to let half the season pass in order to predict a winner.

Chelsea ain't finishing second to Arsenal, never they don't have what it takes for that, making it to top four is acceptable, but finishing second is what I will disagree on, fine Manchester United had an awful beginning this season, but deep down I'm seeing either Manchester United or Arsenal for the English premier League title this season, the first and second is within them both, and Liverpool? Hmm even if they bring in Barcola, will that solve the problem they are having? They've got enough star players already.

If I recall correctly, Maguire was once benched from the Manchester United squad during the Solskjær era because of his frequent silly antics. In fact, Manchester United once planned to sell him, but because they set the price too high, no club was willing to buy him. It seems Maguire’s silly antics have resurfaced, and Manchester United fans had better brace themselves for embarrassment if Carrick continues to play him. Manchester United would be wise to sign another quality defender, and Maguire should be benched until a club is willing to buy or loan him.
I don't know when the mistakes started. Whether it was Ole's or Erik Teng Hang's era, it got so bad that ETH stripped him of the captaincy and United almost sold him to West Ham United. But Maguire is not the same person anymore; he has upped his game. He was United's best defender last season, and I wouldn't use one mistake he made in the Hull match to judge him.

Well Manchester City started out poor last year
And Real Madrid started out good last season
But you can already tell how it ended
First match doesn't decide everything
Chelsea won their first match doesn't mean they will make it to top 5.
It's the first match
Some level of synergy is missed.
You can mostly tell how a season would end when it ends
And this is one of the beauty of football.

Seriously, it is unfair to put the Hull City result on Harry Maguire the guy has really rebranded himself since his lost the captain status of the team and the Maguire of 2022 is not the Maguire of last season, he gave his whole on the pitch last season and people need to acknowledge that fact, it is very worng to throw him under the bus for a result that the entire squad was playing nowhere to b found when it matters the most, benching him this early in the season wil only kill his moral and currently there are no better options left to replace him with.

Surprises will never cease until the final match day.

Chelsea and Fulham match was very entertaining. Fulham lost the match but they played with so much confidence and personality. They were ambitious and wasn't afraid to hold the ball. To be fair, if they can play every team the same way they played Chelsea, they might make top 5 to finish this season. The only problem I noticed with them is their quick pass even in dangerous positions that almost cost them. It actually cost them because they lost. Chelsea were so lucky to get the undeserving victory because even their own Sanchez was playing against them.
Truly it was really an entertaining game of football, and I never expected Fulham to play with such confidence, though the absence of the Chelsea defensive midfielder moise caceido plays an important role why they where able to seize the midfield from Chelsea, because if Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez and moise caceido had started together in the game, their is no way they would have dominated the midfield like they did last night, but even at that, the quality and the attacking prowess of Chelsea was very visible, that's why they easily penetrate the Fulham defense anytime they attack..

Then as for the statement about their finishing position if they can play like that all season, I don't think that way actually, because every game comes with different feels or strategy, because most teams will not play like Chelsea that is playing five at the back.

I think you are not far from the truth on your analysis after the first week of the premier league. Arsenal is still the standout team amongst the top 6 teams and they are still the favorite for the Premier League,  but I will not want to conclude to early. I was impressed with Chelsea too yesterday,  but I think they really think they need to work on their defense if they are really interested in competing for the title. As for Manchester City,  Manchester united,  Liverpool and Tottenham they were really poor and they need to improve else some of them will not even make it to any European competition next season.

Nottingham Forest are on course to lose two consecutive matches to Leeds United since the start of the new Premier League as proof of this, we can see that Nottingham Forest were defeated by Leeds United in the opening match of the new Premier League, despite playing well. But today they had a chance to take revenge on their own field, but they did not perform accordingly, which makes it very clear that they are still 2 goals behind in the second round of the EFL Cup.

Nottingham Forest should improve their squad and their management should buy the best players, perhaps with that goal in mind, they are interested in signing England forward Liam Delap for £45 million, the Chelsea player didn't perform at his best last season but we still believe he will make great progress at Nottingham Forest.

Seeing how they are performing right now, it’s a shame they aren’t down by 4 goals yet. Leeds really did started scoring late because, there is nothing left of this team.
After the first goal, the manager started making substitutions as though there was something they would change about the game and the result but what did we see, same old bad play.
A well deserved win for Leeds, they’ve being intense in their play, kept the pressure and those 2 goals were well deserved.

It’s confirmed already, it’s two consecutive loses against Leeds United, this show how poor they are this season, they can’t even get at least a single draw against a Leeds United so many people counted among the teams with the possibility of getting relegated at the end of the season, but with this performance, they are good, I think only Nottingham Forest will be among the teams that are expecting to be relegated.
Manarakis need to find way before this market closes, they need to bring in quality players to even survive in the premier league this season, if they continue as they started, they will be relegated.

Delap is being targeted by Nottingham Forest for £45 million to strengthen their attack. He was a disappointment at Chelsea last year. If he joins Nottingham Forest this year, they will try to get the best performance out of him. In their match against Leeds United, they clearly saw their shortcomings. I can say they couldn't create any attacks or dangerous opportunities. This led to their defeat. Leeds United deserve congratulations for winning away from home, which was important.

Nottingham forest been hopeful that delap will get back on track is a promising idea but am not sure that probability can be sure or certain for now. Many players suffered same inconsistent performance and later became the best after moving to a new club but that also repeating itself in the case of delap is what am not sure can come to reality for now. From his pre season performance now, I can't tell if he will do better or not but all depends on the player in question if he is willing to do it or not, but I won't say that decision is a bad one because everything always happens for a reason.

This is why Premier League is different fro from any other league, it very wrong to underestimate any team because they are full of surprises. Hull city deserved that victory because they did so well to defend themselves, they hosted the match and that is why they have to tried to bring that three points home. Their performance in championship really matters a lot because that was what play out against Manchester United, Manchester United really have to correct some of their mistakes in their next match.

Yea, the match is a clear pointer the Manchester united have a lot of work to do if they must go far this year. Remember they are now in the champions league competing with other elite clubs. If they can comfortably beat Hull city who just recently got back to the premier league, then there is a serious problem for them and a lot of work for Micheal Carrick to do.

I think they really need a solid defense. Imagine Arsenal still buying Ezri Konsa, adding a lot more to the already existing strong backline. That's because Arteta knows the importance of defense. Manchester united must realize that for them to do better, they need a better defender. The need to solidify there defense, it will help them alot.

Yeah it’s expected that with the way Manchester United ended last season they could start this season with the same tempo but after the World Cup the team have not been the same, their pre season performance wasn’t it and it showed in their first league game.

Michael Carrick should know by now what to do to reverse this situation as many football fans are already saying Manchester United will not have a good season. For me one game is not enough to decide even if it’s against a 4th tier team.

Arsenal is currently the most complete team in the English Premier League at the moment, not because they thrashed Coventry 3:0 on the first league game of the season but because they played like a team that hasn't dropped from what we saw from them last season rather has improved.
Chelsea is still a work in progress for the new manager Xabi Alonso. Their attacking play is impressive but just like you rightly said, they're still a work in progress. I expect them to do better defensively in their upcoming games.
