Haaland's two goals were masterpieces I wonder if he's gotten better since his haircut. Foden also played very well today, he was quite useful and contributed a lot to the team. Yeremy's free-kick goal was also beautiful, really beautiful. It was a good match; Manchester City were in great form, so it was difficult for Palace. Manchester City scored goals back-to-back. If they can maintain this tempo in the league matches, they can become champions.
Haaland looks different with his short hairstyle. Overall, however, his performance remains unchanged; that headed goal was just a coincidence—it happened when his hair no longer resembled a certain type of vegetable. Hehe.
Cherky was excellent overall, managing to score two goals and create a great chance for Foden, even though Foden failed to convert it.
The key is for Manchester City to play freely, without feeling weighed down by pressure. That is the kind of game they played yesterday when defeating Crystal Palace, a team embarking on a new chapter under Sage.

Manchester city under Enzo Maresca is totally different form the Pep man city and at the moment they have problems in the current squad. Foden and Cherki are just that's kinda player which can't give you consistent performance some time they are good but most of the time they just playing like a youth player. A win against Crystal Palace didn't show Manchester City is favourite to win the premier league they sell most of the player which was the best player for Pep but Enzo Maresca sell all of them so it's means they are creating a new Manchester City and it will work I don't know. Because they need to adopt the whole system otherwise Enzo Maresca new system can't lead Manchester City to the premier league.
Which club, in your view, would be favourites to win the EPL? Manchester City have just played two games, and we are concluding that they are not favourites. They have won two games and scored goals, and would have kept a clean sheet if not for the own goal. I think these players, coaches, or clubs should be given some time to play more games before we can start making projections. It was a good game for Enzo Maresca's side, and topping the League would make them feel good.

Haaland new hairstyle looks good but what's surprising is that it was his first goal after getting his hair cut short and it was a header. Haaland has maintained his form and will be even better this season. Manchester City kept the pressure on Crystal Palace from the start of the match and even though they were leading by 1 goal in the first half, they scored 3 more goals in the second half.

Manchester City, who won the match 2-1 against Bournemouth in the first match of the tournament, secured full points and won the second match by a large margin and are at the top of the table with 6 points. They just have to play to win without any pressure. It will be easy for Manchester City to do well because they have a great fighting squad and they deserve to win the trophy.

Haaland opened his account for the new season sporting a new hairstyle. He scored his first goal with a header and his last with a magnificent one-touch finish using his left foot. Manchester City defeated Crystal Palace 4-1 away from home.
The goal scored by Palace was recorded as an own goal by Donnarumma; this was because the ball struck the post from a free-kick, rebounded, and then deflected off Donnarumma's back into the net.

I found Palace to be quite ineffective in this match. While City winning isn't a surprise, I didn't expect them to secure such an easy victory.
Perhaps City benefited from having faced Palace at this same venue earlier in the season.

Manchester City secured a good victory, winning 4-1 and continuing their Premier League campaign with three points. Right now, I'd say Arsenal are the favorites, but my opinion might change as the league progresses. I believe Manchester City are a serious contender against Arsenal. If Manchester City take the lead later in the season, they could be better than Arsenal. While the manager has changed, he's been with the team before, so he's returned to a familiar environment. This allows the players and the team to adapt more quickly.

Manchester City has secured points from two matches and currently sits at the top of the table. Arsenal remains their main challenger. We, for our part, hope Liverpool can regain their form and win their match against Nottingham Forest.

It was a great performance from Manchester City against Crystal Palace. I expected Manchester City to win the match since Crystal Palace has changed their manager, it wasn’t the same manager who give them a difficult time.  It was great to watch Manchester City to perform at their best form this season, despite the fact that they won the last game against Bournemouth, their performance was not as good as it was yesterday. Cherki also scored two goals.

To be honest, I’m beginning to wonder how Manchester City will perform in the Champions League this season. I’m not confident about this squad to beat any opponent they might face in the Champions league. Enzo Maresca will have a lot of work to do, but I don’t think Manchester City can compete for any title, they couldn’t get a single goal against Arsenal in the community shield.

Phil Foden is having a great game, as he was fortunate to get two assist already to his name. Ryan Cherki with two goals tonight and the same for Erling Haaland the goal machine. My prediction for Semenyo to get a goal failed so far but was responsible for assisting the first goal. It is officially back to back wins for Manchester City under Enzo Maresca. Though they got thr win but their some visible errors which should be corrected during training sections. Crystal Palace are terrible and they could be the club to be relegated if the new guy do not start winning games.

Erling Haaland scored but he wasn't looking happy. He no longer celebrates passionately like he normally does. Could he be bored already with Pep Guardiola leaving? I won't be suprise if talks of joining a new club arises.
To be honest, Man city suprised me today, they played extraordinary. The Man city attack was very effective today, all the attackers had an impact on today's game, If they can continue like this in other games, they can win a major trophy this season. From the performance of this City team today, I think they will also be a threat, and I see them winning the title if Arsenal flops.

Does Haaland signing a 9 years contract deal with City look like a joke to you?, before signing such contract, do you think he's not aware that Pep will be leaving anytime soon?. For Haaland to sign such contract, you should know that he's a long term investment for City. Haaland scored two goals, and he was not happy maybe because he didn't score a hat trick. Just because Pep left, doesn't mean Haaland will leave as well, he still has much to achieve in Manchester city.
It's beginning to feel like I have been underestimating Manchester City off lately, they actually surprised me last night, on a norm I had already knew they were gonna won that game, but winning with such margin was what baffled me, that score line was totally out of the picture, kudus to them, like that was really incredible, Enzo Maresca is living up to the standard no doubt he should keep it up, and I bet he's definitely gonna win a major trophy, but at the first minute of the game, Crystal Palace was looking all scary, but it shook me to see that score at the end of the game, A very big congratulations to Enzo Maresca and his boys.

It shouldn't be hard for you to recognize that he's an Arsenal fan, which other unbiased person wouldn't be giving Manchester City their flowers after the comfortable win they recorded yesterday and outstanding performance?
The statistics are the 2 wins from 2 matches is a good start.

Arsenal fans are those at the helm of affairs of pessimistic remarks against City, hiding under the disguise of the new coach not being as competent as the former and blah blah blah... Grin.

The league just started, let's see what they can achieve by mid-season, I believe by then, we can comfortably differentiate the weeds from the wheat.

From the guys you really comment on Haaland's hair? Honestly, everyone is free to have the hair they want, of course.
But could something change if a player cuts their hair or keeps it long? Haaland is a great player, perhaps a little too revered during the World Cup, let's just say he had his moment of glory.
I don't want to take anything away from a player who really deserves attention, he is very performing, certainly a guarantee of performance.
I agree about letting players play freely, physical pressure is already a burden they have to bear, if we add psychological pressure we can't expect great results, for me it's the right thing to do.
They still played with a team that doesn't have the same performances on paper, Crystal Palace are a respectful team, but they are not a team that can put pressure on Manchester City on the pitch.

I don't like daytime games, but the odds seem good enough to bet on Liverpool:

1.46 - 4.70 - 6.40

The first home game of the season, coupled with a setback against Newcastle, should provide maximum motivation. For live betting, the threshold I'd be interested in is probably 1.6+ x1 if clean sheet (before the 65th minute), and 2.5+ if Liverpool concedes first. Evening games look completely random, Coventry - Hull City especially. I'm not sure that Bournemouth are bigger favourites than Tottenham, although the bookmakers see it that way.

This just proved one thing, City's success is not all about the coach, the players are also key. Although, he (Pep) put together the team; I guess one feature of a great coach is to be able to identify good talent, and the next compliments it, which is to be able to use those talents effectively.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure Mancity will no longer show the level of brilliance they did in the past with or without Pep, but I'm sure they'll still be one of the best.

A much needed convincing win from Manchester city and Enzo Maresca. After that defeat to Arsenal at the community shield a lot of people are beginning to question if Maresca is really the right man to replace Pep Guardiola, but with this time of win it eases pressure of him and the team.

Well I won’t say palace had much to do in this game yesterday, they have much of their players out on injury and some were sold. The likes of LaCriox, Mateta, Wharton and even Sarr are players that would have a huge difference for them but some were unavailable and some have been sold by the club.

Now can Manchester city build on this momentum, are they really good enough to win the league this season or they just have not played a challenging opponent yet?

Haaland looks different with his short hairstyle. Overall, however, his performance remains unchanged; that headed goal was just a coincidence—it happened when his hair no longer resembled a certain type of vegetable. Hehe.
Cherky was excellent overall, managing to score two goals and create a great chance for Foden, even though Foden failed to convert it.
The key is for Manchester City to play freely, without feeling weighed down by pressure. That is the kind of game they played yesterday when defeating Crystal Palace, a team embarking on a new chapter under Sage.

Whether or not a player changes after altering their hairstyle is entirely up to the individual. Haaland is a great player—I agree with that—so I find it a bit odd that his hairstyle keeps being discussed.
Haaland is brilliant; he’s capable of carrying the attack for both Manchester City and Norway. That is an incredible feat for a striker who is only 26 years old.
Crystal Palace is a strong team, but they are still adapting to their new manager's style of play.

I’m watching Liverpool right now, and unfortunately, we’ve fallen a goal behind against Nottingham Forest.
Hopefully, this won't end up being a result that raises questions about Andoni Iraola.

What a disappointment for Liverpool as Wirtz goal was ruled out by VAR and keep Forest 1-0 ahead of them. Forest was able to open the scoreline on the 24th minutes by Ndoye. Forest didn't perform well in their previous match but I'm surprised with their performance today against Liverpool.

Liverpool is still finding it difficult to break the deadlock but I believe that they will get an equalizer before the first half will be over because they mounting pressure on Forest defense.

The first-half game is officially over, and Liverpool couldn't get a reply to the goal they conceded, which still leaves the game in Nottingham Forest's advantage. But I have a firm believe that Liverpool will be coming into the second half game with a lot more of pressure on Nothingham Forest to try to equal the goal hopefully, and failure to do so results in them losing of their first premier League game this season.

Another game where Nottingham Forest are giving Liverpool a tough time, in the past three seasons we have seen something similar but I believe in the second half there might be a good turnaround for Liverpool to get all three points.

The match day one was not quite fortunate for them since they were only able to get a comeback equalizer at extra time to share points with Newcastle united.

There is still a lot of time left, I hope Liverpool can also level the table, although I am not sure about Isak performance which is still far from expectations. Liverpool appear to be losing ground on every front. If Notthm Forest continues to be given to free space does not rule out the score will increase. I'm surprised in the second half there wasn't anything Liverpool showed to open the scoring.

As i was accumulating teams to bet on yesterday fear did not allow me to add Manchester City to my bet slip because of the odds they have i thought they would not win Crystal Palace considering how lucky they were to win Bournemouth in their first game of the season so Manchester City surprised me yesterday, i did not expect them to have an easy win against Crystal Palace that use to be a difficult opposition even when Guardiola was still coaching them. Manchester City is gradually showing people they are still Manchester City and they have what it takes to win the league title.

Isak was able to equalize the goal and level the scoreline to 1-1 on the 60th minutes. Fourteen minutes later, Forest got a penalty due to a rough tackle from Allison. Gibbs-White put Forest in front again with a brilliant penalty kick and the scoreline is currently 1-2.

Liverpool is always playing the catching up game will they be able to equalize this goal like they did in their opening match or lose all three points.
