This looks unusual for me also in fact. While other big clubs are quite active in transfer market it is weird not to see Liverpool in the same condition. 

On the other hand it has been only around 2 weeks since Arne Slot joined the club. Maybe it is related to that I don't know. He might not have sent his transfer list to the board yet.

I have not really followed the happenings in the football clubs recently, specially after the premiere league was over, but then, I was also surprised when I learnt that Liverpool are yet to make any transfers in preparation for the new premier league season that is only some months away.

But I am not surprised though, the club may possibly have some plans of their own, and remember this saying that "who laughs last; laughs best", it could be that the club is patiently waiting for other clubs to be done with their transfers, and then they commence theirs, making sure to choose only the very best of players, or maybe they have a different plan altogether, it's completely up to them and I believe they know absolutely what they are doing.

What they should be doing is trying to sign quality players for the position that they're missing quality players. They don't have a very brilliant striker and there's Victor Osimhen that is available in the market. Chelsea not going after him is not a smart move. Napoli wants Romelu Lukaku and he is a Chelsea player, why don't Chelsea negotiate a deal for swapping of Romelu Lukaku and Victor Osimhen. They can also get some money on top the swapping deal. Chelsea shouldn't just be signing all the stars they hear about but be more focused with their signings.

I heard the rumor that Liverpool is interested to sign Frimpong, Kimmich, Dani Olmo, Anthony Gordon, Marc Guehi, and Donyell Malen. Agreed, Palmer isn't a striker. But he really performed like a striker last season.    However of course Chelsea wouldn't rely on him to score this many goals every season. It is difficult for a midfielder to maintain such performance.

This is where Chelsea would make use of a real striker who they can benefit from significantly. They are making their investments into midfielders recently but they had better focus on the attacking area as well. Marc Guiu is a new arrival who is a 18-year-old striker. Chelsea is full of young centre-forwards like this. But I think they should actually have a star scorer there to increase the productivity more.

Jackson is still not good enough. I don't think he should be their main striker because of that.

You may not be a fan of Erik Ten Hag, you may not like him personally but then, when you make your analysis, don't let how you feel for him come in between your judgement, do that and you'll see how much of a great football fan you'll be. ( I use myself as example, Chelsea is a team I'll never let my son fan lol, but then, I have never allowed my hate or dislike from this club hate a single player that plays for the club. )

It's not about money, when you look out there, you'll not see a better manager than Erik Ten Hag for the Manchester United job... If Hansi Flick was vacant and eager to land the job, then I'll say they should go all out to get him as manager but he choose Barcelona at the end of it all. We will see to that, Erik Ten Hag will definitely win Manchester United the Premier League Competition. It's same way I predicted he'll win thr Fa Cup Competition and he did, good he has the fans backing him up.

These Manchester United team lacks standard, and there are only a few players with high standards, some of the names playing for Manchester United right now, wouldn't have made it during Sir Alex Fergusons time as manager. The glazers are obviously about profits, because if they have invested with the right coaches, and players Manchester United wouldn't have been this poor all these past years. This is still possible but I think this depends on how interested the SPL club is in the end because after all Salah leaving now is a risk that is definitely very risky for Liverpool but it can still happen when there is a very large bid.

Last season Liverpool were even offered around almost 150 million to let Salah leave and it could be that offers like this will be back when transfers start to get busy and there could be a different result where last season Liverpool did not take the offer but this season there could be another consideration for Liverpool with Slot as their helmsman.
