Chelsea has got to be one of the luckiest team in the league given their inconsistency and to have been able to hold off just a single goal. I was expecting them to conceive at some point, maybe score a second goal but conceive in between as it’s customary with the team. Good for them though, they got that UCL promotion and bad for Nottingham Forest that couldn’t even make it to conference league.

Chelsea's quite inconsistent at the middle of season, but glad they sort it out at the late season. I watched their previous games, and found that how they are finding solid pair in their defense. It's really help them much to play defensively. This reminds me when they have very strong defense, then won everything with it.

After everything that made them gone from 2th to the 6th, and tie for 4th is not that bad as long as they qualify for UCL. I can't wait to see them to play in CL again, and they have to replace all of deadweight with the new talents.

I was coming here to talk about chelsea as well, I am not a fan but I really love how they were able to make it to the champions league, their game against Nottingham forest yesterday was really amazing, it ended in a 1 : 0 with Chelsea scoring while Nottingham forest were not able to retaliate with a goal..

At some point, I also was expecting Nottingham forest to score, and maybe that would motivate the chelsea team to play harder for a second goal, but fortune enough, Nottingham forest were not able to score and Chelsea also held their ground so tight given their opponent no chances at all, congratulations to them for making it to the champions league, this was a great season for most of the clubs.

Honestly I didn't expect this result, a team with odds of 1.31 if I remember correctly had to suffer defeat from a team with odds of 9,++, I thought the surprise would happen in another match but it turned out to come from Newcastle. I forgot that Everton is a surprise team that can always be a bet destroyer when playing against strong teams. Luckily even though Newcastle lost, they still secured a UCL ticket because in other matches Nottingham and Aston Villa lost.

Newcastle's small odds trapped many who bet on them. Glad i was not picking this game as my bet, and last game has always been crucial. They played badly in this game, and unable to break Everton's wall. They also almost not qualify for the UCL, but MU helped them by beating Villa.

They showed dross gameplay last night, and lost narrow score to the Everton. However, it's all means nothing after they won their first trophy after so many years + getting UCL spot. It's all outstanding achievement by them this season.

Their fans have to sign a petition not to give an everton schedule at the end of season because it's always hard to beat. 

If they were not lucky enough, they won't play at UCL next season.

Yeah, if Nottingham forest and Aston Villa hadn't lost their match, I highly doubt Newcastle would have secured a spot in the UCL, but luckily for them, this two teams lost so they earned no point to help them climb up the table.

Surprises are real, I also wasn't expecting Everton from their 13th place in the league table to beat Newcastle who are in the top 5, really amazing but stuffs like this happen from time to time, and let me say that I initially didn't even notice this game until now, I was thinking that Newcastle won this game, didn't realize that lost since I didnt give attention to some of the matches that were played yesterday..
Anyways, congratulations to the winners of the games yesterday, Arsenal almost lost to Southampton but thank goodness for that second goal, it would have been a big shame on them.

Manchester United disappointed me
Since after Manchester United lost the Europa cup final against Tottenham, I was so sad. But I thought Manchester United would has lost to Aston villa today and Nottingham Forest manages to win against Chelsea. I didn't want Chelsea to go to the champions league. But among all odds they made it.

Newcastle United in the other hand got lucky that Manchester United saved them. They are going to play in the champions league next season, but I think Emery deserves a second chance because he did well this season.

The rivalry between Chelsea and Manchester united has always been there, since the days of sir Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho, so you don't expect a Manchester united fan to want Chelsea to do well, so that they will always have something to joke about when talking about Chelsea, but that's by the way.
Yesterday I was quite impressed by the performance of Chelsea actually because they were ruled out of making the top four by most pundit predictions, but they gave a top class professional display yesterday that was just enough to secure the whole three points and qualify them to the uefa champions league.

Even though I'm happy they lost the Europa league final against Tottenham, I never expect Tottenham to beat Manchester United considering that is the only way they can get themselve a slot in European competition but throwaway that golden opportunity.

Am equally as surprise as you bro, I never expect Tottenham Hotspur to win a trophy this season, considering how terrible they have been.
It was later I started hearing that before that finals they have already beaten Manchester united three times already this season, and this past finals makes it the fourth times they were beaten, so I was really surprised that by the look of things, Manchester united is even worse than I initially thought, but nevertheless, a big congratulations to Tottenham Hotspur for ending their trophy drought that has lasted for 17 solid years.

I think arteta got it spot on. It would have been easy for arsenal to use injuries as an excuse for losing Champions League semi final and dropping down the table, but the guys who have come in have been brilliant.
i really like how white played. Saliba should also train to be an attacking defender, because he is so good in carrying the ball. next season, i need to see players trying to take risk too.

I knew it was always going to be a tough game, but thought arsenal gave it all they had, and I'm very proud of their performance. On another day, we could say they deserved something but, they weren't prepared to lose their last match. All eyes them against Southampton tomorrow, which is a must win for them too.

Tough season so far but yet an interesting one with a lot of positives to take on to the next season. Arsenal might not be at the best level or the level they ought to be at the moment because they had our chances this season and failed to take it but the squad is improving every season and learning the hard reality of failing. Hopefully these disappointments and harsh reality will be reflected in their performances next season.

I was so surprised and shock seeing that Everton won Newcastle united I never expected that to happen especially since they where fighting for the champions League ticket for next season and again since Newcastle united was at home I just believed they will win using home advantage but that didn't happen.
I'm sure a lot of people predicted and place a bet for Newcastle united to win the match, just like they say football is sometimes unpredictable.
You are right hyudien Everton always play very well when ever they play with big teams, they are always good in surprising us I never expected this one.

Manchester United couldn't lose yesterday when they should have lost at least it would have helped to reduce the level of noise I got from some Chelsea fans in my end and Nottingham Forest failed to also take their home advantage to achieve something good by defeating Chelsea everything changed the way I expected.

Aston Villa was so unlucky my to have defeated Manchester United cause that would have been their only chance of making it and Chelsea also showed class and superiority by coming from away to get a crucial 3 points to book their qualification ticket for the champions League competition next season.

Doing well in the Europa League was a big challenge for Manchester United and when they qualified for the Europa League final, we thought that maybe Manchester United would win a major tournament after a long time, but they really disappointed us. Manchester United lost in the Europa League final, but before the match started, considering all aspects, we thought that Manchester United would win.

Basically, Manchester United could not play at their best in the Europa League final, which is why they lost. Team performance is very important in football, even if a team does not have a big star, if there is a good relationship between the players in each position of the team and every player from each position plays well, then that team will do well as a team. Doing well in the Europa League was the only chance for Manchester United this season, but they missed that chance, now they have nothing more to achieve in front of them this season.

TBH, I can't believe Newcastle was defeated by Everton. They were playing at home, they dominated the match. But they couldn't score a single goal. I think they a bit underestimate Everton. Luckily, they still could finish in the UCL zone.

You're right, this is really... How could it be?
I wondered how Newcastle should have optimized their last chance and won the match. but, the only goal by Alcaraz broke made Newcastle lost. And that happened after Newcastle made a change of defender. Padahla they had more ball possession, but the attacks and hosts on target, almost the same.

And it's true, Newcastle was really very lucky and seemed to be saved by man united who managed to beat Aston Villa as Newcastle's competitor for the UCL spot from the premier league.

Nothing really matters in United performance because it's too late now, with the 2-0 win ,hopefully they will get better next season. Although, they need to buy new players to rebuild the team in summer, especially since they were spared from getting knocked into the relegation zone from the premier League and that's already good. I wish that serious changes occur in the club, and everything will be good in the new season, let the management draw conclusions about the head coach, does the team need Amorim or not?

They are lots of trending videos online where football fans share their pains about Manchester united losing the Europa league it was indeed a sad day for a lot of people...if we want to look at the fan base how many people would say they are Tottenham fans? Martinez made a good decision even though he had to get a red card. For me, Martinez was not to blame and indeed Thomas Bramall made Unai Emery reject many of the referee's decisions which tended to overlook fouls that should have been given.
There was not the slightest hint of guilt on Martinez's face during the incident.
I openly admit that Aston Villa are far from their usual game.

England are sending 6 teams to the Champions League next season. 6 TEAMS...    This means 1/6 of the number of all teams in league phase. But how many of them will be successful for real? That's the actual question.

English teams were horrible there this season. All of them got eliminated before even reaching the final. It is hard to predict next time of course but I feel like at least one of them would make it to the finale. Liverpool or Manchester City...

Sorry KingsDen I didn’t know you’re a Manchester United fan. Even if Manchester United lost the final game against Aston Villa it still wouldn’t have made any difference because they already survived relegation this season and were in a safe spot. I don’t like Chelsea but it makes more sense to have Chelsea in the Champions League next season than Nottingham Forest because Nottingham Forest wouldn’t even make noticeable impact in the UCL if they made it.

Aston Villa couldn't do what they wanted in the last week and finished the league in 6th place. They lost 2-0 to Manchester United and couldn't benefit from the Champions League. Newcastle managed to finish the league in 5th place despite losing to Everton. I think they were one of the luckiest teams in the last week.

Chelsea finished the league in 4th place and managed to go to the Champions League. They managed to beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 away. Nottingham Forest's points losses in the last weeks caused them to finish the league in 7th place.

It was really the worst ending for Aston Villa.    Manchester United weren't able to win for like 8 weeks in the PL. It was just a formality game for them also. But Emiliano Martinez turned things into nightmare for Aston Villa by an unnecessary red card.

Newcastle were really on their lucky day. I don't know how they managed to lose vs Everton home but anyway. I was already believing in my Chelsea to beat Forest and thankfully they didn't prove me wrong. It's going to be nice to see them in the CL next season.

Everton haven’t been an easy case you know, I always try to see that with them when making my predictions. I don’t really see anyone that special in the team except Pickford but man, Pickford could be at the top of his game in some games, comes up with some exceptional saves and at other times, he’s just one crap in the goal, once you score one, you commit him to conceiving several other goals.
That’s the beauty of the game though, 90 minutes is all it would take and those 90 minutes are damned unpredictable.
