EPL is about to start and gunners have already made an impact that they are fully prepared to defend there title. Man City were runner up in last season and honestly I was not expecting such a goalless defeat from them. How well Man City is prepared for the upcoming EPL? We can get idea about that after seeing first few games of Man City in EPL and if results were same as we saw today then it will be curtains for Man city in next season.

Pep Guardiola has served the team for a while, won every trophy for them, built a team for them, and also find a coach for them, he has tried his best for the team until his last season, he won trophies for the team in his last season, his failure to win the EPL last season forced him to leave the team because he hates to lose always.

Without him, Manchester City will define not be the same, they have to adapt to Maresca and the players that left the club will also need to be replaced, if that is done, the team can take a good shape again, but I don’t expect much from Maresca in his first season; we have already seen sign in this final; Arsenal dominated the game, they did that important thing which is winning the game, and if Manchester City will play like this next season, I don’t think they will compete for the title.

Fairy, I would say that first goal in that first minute have a very impact in the outcome of the game. Of course, with Guardiola Manchester city would have done better but then that early goal ruined the game plan of the game for city. This match was also a quick reminder to Manchester city fans that the glory days are over and now they are back to reality.
Maresca is not a bad coach, judging from his Leicester days, but then handling a club who have been so used to winning will definitely come with some pressure.

The league is almost here and I hope before then Manchester city should have al lot of rhythm in their game. They barely even created chances today.

So fakin true, friend. Pep's standard is so high, and replacing him with Maresca is obviously a huge downgrade. They also bring the problems faced by Chelsea to my club. I'd be spending so much money on buy out Enrique from PSG or sign Xavi instead of Maresca.
There are bunches of problem showed in this game that often happened in Chelsea such as players out of their position, weird selection and dumb experiment.

It's such a big mistake to sign him from Chelsea. They could just let him stay at Stamford Bridge. I hope this mini pep is going out from my club before summer.
It's disaster to see a team that won two trophies last season lost all of their soul.

This is a lie Pep Gaurdiola didn't leave Manchester city because of losing premier League trophy last season and this is not the first time Manchester city is losing premier League title under pep Gaurdiola. I don't see Manchester City getting a healthy season from what I'm seeing because Enzo Maresca is causing a heavy damage on the team, nothing fun is happening. Same pattern of substitution as when he was at Chelsea and now we are seeing the same thing. Why is Semenyo still on the pitch and few minutes ago he substituted Haaland, something Pep Guardiola has never done, City need to start searching for a new manager because I don't see Enzo Maresca lasting long at the club.

I don't think you know what you're saying about Pep Guardiola leaving Manchester city for not winning the league last season. Pep Guardiola spent 10 years in Manchester city winning 6 league titles so it's not like he has always won it for the ten consecutive years despite winning it for record 4 straight times. His message was very clear, he needed a rest and believed he was done with his mission in Manchester city. He is currently on a sabbatical leave and has even turned down jobs including the Italian team coaching job.

That's just a beatable record. If Arsenal plays a good game, they will win the league again. Which other team is more favourable to win the league this season? Manchester city? Or Manchester United? Well, the game is just starting which you don't have to conclude that their glory days are over. I know there will a lot of pressure on Maresca but he is not a bad manager, although that's how fans do, they make a big deal out of every small mistake and before one knows it, arguments starts. That's not a fair way to handle things, you don't just expect Manchester City to immediately adapt to a new system when they are already used to Pep. However, until the game is over, you can't really tell which team will come out on top.

It's too early to start missing pep. The season is going to be a long one and you can't afford to start missing him this early.

I think one key thing that's going to stand out as a clear difference between pep and maresca is that maresca can't be as desperate for result as pep is. Manchester city is already to used to that fighting mentality that a cool headed dude like maresca can't produce. When I heard about a record goal being scored in less than a minute. I was pretty sure it was Manchester City which took it because Arsenal is quite stable at the opposite of Manchester City.
I think losing a title here is better than starting the season with fake confidence. They know their level right now and better to be prepared next.

Oh I never expected it’ll be so easy for Arsenal and no goal from Manchester City at all, that’ cut my betslip. Arsenal were the better team today probably because they’ve been a team and no much changes and it’s just Enzo Maresca’s first game even though he played with same players Pep Guardiola used, we’ll just have to wait for the season to start to see how they play and improve.

Arsenal may or may not defend their league title but I’m beginning to think the probability of them winning it again is favourable.

Enzo Maresca is not a bad coach. He has performed well in the past. When a coach comes into a team, he uses his own strategy to get an idea of ​​the current strength of the team.
