Today Man united game with hull City was so disappointing, even in my last dream can't believe Man united will made themselves so cheap to be wired two nils at their first game after resting for quite a period of time, what pains me over this game is the confidence I have on them as team that leads me to pick them in my slip while carryout my gambling. Though it's too early to judge how the season will look as the game just start but this style of their game is not impressing if they refuse to adjust because more bigger team than Hull city will rubbish them more.

I won't really considered this unexpected because Manchester united is a team of wonders and surprises, at first I thought Manchester united will win Hull city without much stress because they have signed a few players but later I began to doubt the first thought due to how disappointing they can be most times and they actually played rubbish and allowed Hull city that just came from championship to humiliate them. Didn't we all complain about Manchester United that there is something wrong with the club, I guess we ignored it but I'm not surprised by what I'm seeing with their performance. In the opening match, just 17 minutes to the game Hulk city had their first goal even, it shows that their defense was very weak, they weren't doing the right thing to avoid incoming goals they later conceded at the rest of the time during the match.

You know what's even interesting about Hull city, they never had any interesting features during the world cup, I don't know why but they look like a below average team. I don't think Manchester United did well to analyze the match further to check if the team was better. For a team that is going to play in the Champions League, I'm not sure they are going to survive to be honest with you except if they improved their defense.

I think most fans actually do not see this, but if a premier league team isn’t actually very good in aerial duel then just know that they will definitely suffer against most of the promoted sides and also the lower teams because that’s there strength. Hull city manager actually came into this game knowing fully well of this Manchester United vulnerability and you would see clearly from how they started the game that it was clearly there intent because they crossed so many balls into the box.

Manchester United has lots of problems to address in that squad and seriously the fans should be happy they lost this game because it exposes some of the flaws most people have been saying. Start with the full backs, let’s be honest this full backs are nothing to write home about, four years on they are yet to be changed. Then we have the attack again, I said this that Manchester United can never depend on Benjamin Sesko as their main striker because I don’t think he is ready.

The Issue of using Patrick Dorgu as right winger is still mind blowing, because you cannot have the likes of Cunha and even Rashford just to trust this guy on the attacking end because I don’t he has that quality, either he is Played in the left back or simply is used as a squad player and plays when only there is injury

Most of these newly promoted teams are difficult to play against and obviously Hull City's style is one dangerous style different for a team like Manchester United to contain. Some fans think any team coming from championship is just supposed to lose to big teams but that's not how it is, a lot matters and when you don't get things right you're definitely going to suffer against these kind of teams.

From seeing the lineup i knew this wasn't going to go well and you're right it's good that United lost this early so they can identify the issue and solve them before it gets too late. A lot of things are just not right and I expected more signings. The midfield pairing is weak, then again the attack needs some natural born wingers to spice things up.

Carrick wouldn't try this again I believe, but honestly even the midfield is not convincing enough for me. Tiliemans is good but needs to be paired with someone better. Not sure what Carrick plan is but Tiliemans and Santos won't work IMO.

I have just been laughing with my friends ever since the match ended, a lot of Man U fans has just been lamenting left right centre, some blame the lose on Carrick that he is not a good coach, this was same Carrick that they praised a while ago, some are also blaming Harry Maguire that he was overlapping when he knew fully well that he can’t immediately return, sincerely this is really a poor way to start a season for a team like Man U, especially because they played a new team Hull City that just got promoted to the Premier league, am happy football is back, this season will be highly competitive and definitely every team will receive their own share of the hot cake at the appropriate time.

Great start for the champions, they have started off the season again on a fly and will start building on this as the season progresses. Good to have Saka back on the starting lineup for this match, possibly the coach will have a rethink and keep on starting him unless he wants him to rest for some few games. Tomorrow other teams gets to play let's see how they too will fair especially teams like Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, lots of eyes will be on them as they play their first match of the season.

I watched Arsenal's game today and to be honest, I think it'll be very difficult for the other top teams in England to stop the reigning English champions from retaining the title at the end of the Sea.

I already predicted that Arsenal will win because I know there was no way Coventry will come to the Emirates and get a result but I didn't know that Arsenal would be that clinical.

Things are looking great for Arsenal especially after securing their first win for this season in EPL... Right from when I saw the fixtures I knew for sure that Coventry was no match for Arsenal, since Arsenal themselves has competed and won against bigger and better clubs there in Europe and beyond.. And if they could do this, then Coventry would just be like a piece of cake for them... And lo and behold Arsenal did justice by securing a brutal clean sheet win of 3:0..More wins like this and arsenal are surely gonna win EPL once again..
Am happy that EPL has finally begun, am looking forward to other watches to be played later this week and beyond..Man United has longed been touted since Carrick came along, I am hoping to see how they eat their opponents tomorrow considering their current form and all

No doubt, arsenal are in form and are trying their best to win the league back to back with the current form, they have the potential of winning the league again this season but one this with premier league that I like that that the competition is very high, a team may be performing well and in the long run reduce their level of performance and a team can be seen as not winning the league or even better in the top 10 but at the end will pick form at the right time and do well to win the league or finish as top 5. but in the case of arsenal. they have been improving over the years and are able to win the league last season. congratulations to them and they can do it again this season.

I see this as a mistake by Brian Mbeumo and Harry Maguire, who just froze for the first goal, and for the second goal, Luke Shaw and Noussair Mazraoui. They don't have good response and situational reading. So they just stay quiet and focus on one player. Since last season, defense has indeed been a big task for Man United. Hull City, as a newly promoted team, managed to frustrate Man United. In fact, both of their goals didn’t come from open play. So Carrick really needs to fix Man United's defensive patterns.

Even though this was the first match, it brought back a bad image for Man United. Next, Carrick has to be able to get points in the second week’s match. I even thought from the start that I felt confident Man United would win because this is a promoted team. But it turns out I was wrong Hull played very compactly and made Man United frustrated.

We all know and realize that Manchester United’s performance has indeed declined, but i didn’t expect them to lose to a team like Hull City. They had a great chance to win, but they were unable to capitalize on the momentum to score when the opportunity arose. In contrast, Hull City played more effectively in finding openings to score, the Hull City team was very lucky. This loss is a major blow to Manchester United, they’ve immediately disappointed their fans. Since the season is still long and many matches lie ahead, let’s hope they can perform better.

We also lost the first fixture against Arsenal last season but they were more of a worthy side who should have won the game but we can not say the same for this Hull City side honestly.
I didn't see the game because I do not like early kick off most especially when it is a game Manchester United would be travelling to face. They do not look in a good shape and I don't know if they do not caution Harry Maguire for always overlapping. With all those special players in attack and Manchester United couldn't score a single goal is crazy. Are we back to the trenches?!

I watched Arsenal's game today and to be honest, I think it'll be very difficult for the other top teams in England to stop the reigning English champions from retaining the title at the end of the Sea.

After all, the season has just begun, and we don’t yet know how things will play out when Arsenal faces tougher opponents. Still, all we can say right now is that Arsenal has gotten off to a great start in the league.

Hopefully they improve in the next matches. They created a lot of chances, just need to score goals. If the opponent is tougher, they might not have that many opportunities. 
Anyway, United really fought hard last season. They developed well throughout the season with lots of drama. Fans' expectations must also be huge. They need to bounce back, especially when other competition schedules start. United has to bounce back and do better.

I kind of agree with both of you because this is a weird result: on one side we know that Manchester United have been a very unpredictable team during the last years but under Carrick's management it looked like things were finally improving. And Hull City are probably the weakest team in the Premier League so this defeat is kind of surprising at the end.

The match was a great disappointment because many were actually expecting Manchester United to start this season with great performance. But it seems Manchester United may not be that strong, losing to hull city that was just promoted to premier League.  Although Manchester United has a great possession in the match but were unlucky to score a goal. Yes Hull took their chances indeed that remind me on Friday night when Arsenal played their game Manchester united fans where bragging that Coventry will lock arsenal down they when went forwarded saying that Coventry is just a small club that even if arsenal win or not that Manchester will win premier league this summer but to my greatest surprise Hull win Manchester united on their first opening game, this is to send message to carrick that he is a baby coach I don't know why Manchester united fans are comparing carrick and Mike Arteta in terms of coaching work.

I don't know what to say about this match. I never imagined that we would see such a result from Manchester United. Although Manchester United attacked and they kept their match in their possession, nothing came of it. Manchester United's attacking part could not do anything. This is a big failure. If we could see Manchester United's attacking part succeed, then maybe we could have some expectations from Manchester United. But looking at the current performance and situation, the trust in Manchester United is completely gone and the expectations we had on them seem to be gradually becoming unrealistic.

Starting the season with a defeat from a team that was just promoted to the Premier league isn't good at all but you shouldn't judge them with just one game when there are still more than 20 games to play.

I don't put my hope on Manchester United winning the title this season because the team isn't in a perfect state yet. It took Arteta almost five years to put his team in a perfect state before they won the title last season.
