I believe no one gave Sunderland a chance before the match. We expect Manchester City to crush them like the mid table team they are but see Sunderland now. They level the score with Manchester City in the first 12 minutes of the game. Scoring 3 against Manchester city means no team can be written off in this league.

You are right, the premier league is one of the most unpredictable league, anything can happen in the blinking of an eye.
Honestly, I don't think any team should be regarded as mid table team or weak team anymore.

Sunderland has always been a tough team, which was why they could qualified for Europe after returning to the EPL. It was a tough win for City, I was also expecting the game to be an easy one for City, because Sunderland has not been in good form in the EPL, but no. Sunderland looked dangerous in that game and could have won if they had capitalized on all their chances, but good work by City, it's now 5 wins from 5 games. Brighton which is also known as mid table team thrashed Arsenal as well, Brentford thrashed Chelsea.

The only thing most of these mid table teams in EPL lack is consistency.  For instance, Brentford beat Chelsea by 3 goals, but next match week, you might see Brentford losing to Coventry. If all these teams can become consistent, then the EPL will be very much interesting.

Arteta was probably not prepared for this kind of result. Arsenal players had possession for most of the match but failed to attack. Brighton defence was extremely strong, so despite trying to get several shots to score, Arsenal's forwards were unable to score. Arsenal had only 6 shots in total, only one of which was on target. Brighton have been in good form since the start of the season, so Arteta needed to be more careful in preparing for the match. They will definitely learn from the mistakes of the previous match because Arsenal have talented players who will correct their mistakes and play better from the next match.

It seems you're right. Amorim built pretty good foundation, then it's helped Carrick last season, but when he's building it by himself, and it's not as good as last season. Even the minor changes being made by Carrick during the winter window is already changed the way his team play.
So i'm back to questioning the overconfidence showed by people called him as a good manager just because he helped MU to play in UCL. The stats is telling how this club is even having a basic fitness issue.

Any of their players are only standing without trying to put all of effort to win the ball or something. It's regressing so hard than last season.

Ruben Amorim improved the standards and at the same time pushed out players not willing to represent the Manchester United badge. Michael Carrick benefited from that squad and it helped him qualify for the Champions League competition. Casemiro is the only major player who left, so I don't know why Michael Carrick has refused to make use of the same set of players who won him games and qualified him for the Champions League competition.

The changes we expected was a new left back for Luke Shaw, a new Casemiro replacement and a new Central Defender with mobility.
But we didn't see all that. Baleba and Santos are not a complete destroyer like Casemiro and will never be. I wasn't amongst those gassed up by all those winnings.

Anyways this lose won't affect Arsenal much, their team is already organised infact more organised than other team so just one lose won't be enough to disorganise them, they recover quickly from the defeat and focus on their goal for the season, which is retaining the title and try to win other titles too.

Liverpool's Back line is the topic in my street after they ended the unbeaten record for Bournemouth at home.

The trio Virgil Van Dijk, Ronald Araujo and Jeremy Jacquet all having a fantastic season. They have seen three cleans sheets so far so good since A I paired them together. Andoni Iraola is low key building up Araujo on Loan  if they're to sign his up successfully,  Barcelona will not hesitate splash a high valuation on him because of the good form we have seen already. They're two to three significant signatures short for them to start dominating as they should. October to December will be interesting.

Five points in Five games for Michael Carrick Manchester United,there is nothing Carrick can do to reverse this shitty defense, I keep saying that the Manchester united back four can't start in any Premier League club, there are not good to play for Manchester United , even if they sack Michael Carrick,  the next manager will still inherit same defense structure, during the transfer market they ignored the major problem of defense to buy midfielders.

Carrick should better drop Rasford and go back to the formation he used last season,  this Rasford should not be a starting player, he's not inform,I'm just tried of the whole mess,  this squad can't finish top four this season, they have no fighting spirit and they lack connection, today result is unacceptable,  something has to be done, is either they left Carrick go and bring in more experienced manager now or we face relegation this season.

A 1-1 draw is not acceptable in any way, Manchester United should have won this match, but in the end they are just as disappointed as ever. They are currently 12th with 5 points from 5 matches, their performance has been very poor since the beginning and they have been bringing disappointing results in most of the matches.
Where they could not win against Fulham, their opponents in the next matches are much stronger, what will they do in those matches? Based on their current performance, I think they are going to lose points in the next matches as well.

When Manchester United lost the Derby match against Manchester City i just knew that they won't make any head way this season. I have been thinking about what Manchester United did differently last season that made them finish in the third position. I can't believe that after that wonderful late season performance by Michael Carrick that they will start this season with a poor performance. Maybe they are waiting for the season to draw close to ending period so that they can manifest same way they did last season. The way am even seeing the team they might not be able to qualify for the Champions League next season because if they continue with this kind of performance they won't finish anywhere around the top 5 Champions League positions.

Yeah. Sometimes a loss is actually good especially for Arteta, so he can see the team's weaknesses and realize there’s still a lot that needs fixing. Right now, Arsenal game is just holding the ball and passing around without really shooting. On the other hand, Brighton once they get the ball they go straight forward and create chances. Arsenal definitely has more possession, but Brighton has more shots especially since Arsenal defense is pretty weak, so Brighton can take advantage of it well giving their players space to shoot from a decent distance.

For Arsenal even though this loss is painful, it's good for Arteta so he can wake up and appreciate his players. And honestly, the thing that's most regrettable is why Martinelli was sold, not Madueke, and also with Peameineze it's not really all that good, and Gyokeres was sidelined even though last year he clearly performed pretty well. I don't know what Arteta is doing, preferring Harvest, and I'm pessimistic that Arsenal can go back to back champions without tactical improvements from Arteta and new players coming in December. Because despite their opponents' excellent defense, they've started to crumble, and conceding three goals against Brighton has made them believe that Manchester City can do the same to them, scoring at least three goals against them. Arsenal took the trophy last season not because they were that super strong, but they happened to be the best team among other teams that competed for the trophy 🏆 and when compared their form, performance, conditions and of quality of the teams last season,  The rest other Big premier League team , Manchester city, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United were not in their best of form.

This is why the premier league is the most exciting and also the most unpredictable league in the world.  Like you mentioned,  nobody gave Sunderland and chance against Manchester City, but they went toe to toe with them and they were able to score 3 goals, which I dony think anyone would have predicted.  Manchester City finally won the match, but it was an interesting match and I think we need to give  Sunderland a lot of kudos, for not hiding in their shell like most mid table team will do, but rather they came out and took the game to Manchester City.  With they way they played against Arsenal and Manchester city,  which are the two top teams in the premier league right now, I don't see them struggling to escape relegation at the end of the season.

In no doubt the English premier league is the most competitive and unpredictable league in the world, at least we can tell from Aston Villa's last UEFA champions league game, we all knew they are weak in the English premier league since the beginning of the season, but watch what they did in the UEFA champions league, I keep telling people any English mid table teams can compete for trophy in any other league across Europe, who cold believe Sunderland would score Manchester city three goal? Had it been it's a mid table team like them, I trust the game would has ended in their favor.
