I believe no one gave Sunderland a chance before the match. We expect Manchester City to crush them like the mid table team they are but see Sunderland now. They level the score with Manchester City in the first 12 minutes of the game. Scoring 3 against Manchester city means no team can be written off in this league.

A goal for Haaland finally. City 5 - 3 Sunderland at 88 minutes.

While the match was still going on with City leading 4-3, Ruben Diaz blocked a goal from the goal line. The game could have suddenly become a 4-4 draw... It really was a fantastic match for the fans. Sunderland put on a great performance and raised the level of the game. We saw a total of 8 goals and many goal-scoring opportunities in the match. However, I think there are some things that need to be questioned regarding Manchester City at this point. They’ve conceded 5 goals in the 5 matches they’ve played this season, 3 of which came in this match. I’ve never seen them show so many defensive weaknesses this season...

You're very correct, Arsenal was the most informed team in the league all through last season and that performance is worthy of winning the league. They fought for it and they got it which is well deserved. Arsenal's defence is still very good as it was last season, something I have noticed is that, in Premier League teams are quick to notice how to get at you, last season it wasn't easy for them to penetrate the defence, what I noticed in the game was that Brighton's two goals came from outside the 18, they couldn't penetrate, they sent shots and scored from it. The defence is still good in my opinion.

You're very correct, Arsenal was the most informed team in the league all through last season and that performance is worthy of winning the league. Arsenal actually lost this match because of goals conceded from long range, which is a result you can expect in a game like this. Ultimately, the shots were very good and found their target magnificently. Arsenal couldn't do much about this defeat. Five points in Five games for Michael Carrick Manchester United,there is nothing Carrick can do to reverse this shitty defense, I keep saying that the Manchester united back four can't start in any Premier League club, there are not good to play for Manchester United , even if they sack Michael Carrick,  the next manager will still inherit same defense structure, during the transfer market they ignored the major problem of defense to buy midfielders.

Carrick should better drop Rasford and go back to the formation he used last season,  this Rasford should not be a starting player, he's not inform,I'm just tried of the whole mess,  this squad can't finish top four this season, they have no fighting spirit and they lack connection, today result is unacceptable,  something has to be done, is either they left Carrick go and bring in more experienced manager now or we face relegation this season.

Manchester United have bring back the old performance under Amorim, I couldn’t imagine this team failed to win two games in their first five games of the season, Manchester United seems to be the worse side in the Premier League right now, despite the fact that most every top side lost their game last weekend. Rashford should be able to breakthrough the opponent defense, he has failed to score or assist in the first five Premier League matches since returning from Barcelona.

The problem was that Arsenal fans now feel they are undefeatable, they were too confident that no one could challenge them currently especially after the Chelsea victory. They need to understand how the league is and that it doesn't matter how good you are and there are stubborn teams in the league.
It's just a loss, and it's still possible to win the league but they should be prepared for what's coming for them this time around. The competition this season would be far greater than last season and there are signs already, just few matches to the season they are losing in this manner. It's not really the loss but the goals conceded were the problem, now teams won't be intimidated anymore.

Their early defeat shows that it's gon be a tough season for them. Arteta should take that defeat as a challenge in order for him to work on the team to be stronger than how they're currently, if he aims to defend the title this season.

I was expecting he is going to be have serious trouble in middle of season but his start is clearly indicating its going to be not good season for them after end of 5 rounds 5 points with 1 win their defense is terrible they are conceding enough goals after end of break they are going to host another troubling club Tottenham its surely not good for both clubs because they are looking for first win of season their attack is surely one of the worst.
Start of season is interesting Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Manchester United and Tottenham all are having worst start and they needed changes before its ended too late for them all clubs spend enough but fail to show their best in early games hopefully its going to be have good improvement.

It’s not that easy to win matches with long range shots, to score goals like that, you need to have incredible skill. Brighton have players who are very good at shooting from distance, so they were able to take advantage of that. But it doesn’t mean that other teams will be able to use the same approach against Arsenal.

Raya is an excellent goalkeeper, and nine times out of ten he deals with long range shots very well. That’s why I think Brighton were very lucky to score two long range goals in the match against Arsenal.

Manchester United performance against Fulham was just a continuation of their flop against Brighton in the league cup match they played last week.

Since Manchester United lost against Manchester city, and Brighton I was expecting them to win against Fulham, since Fulham performance has been so bad this season, they have not even been able to win any match this season, and Manchester United couldn’t even win them. Manchester United were even lucky to get a draw in the match, because they scored their goal towards the ending of the match.

Carrick will have to work on the teams performance, some Manchester United fans are already complaining about his performance, and some of them are already requesting for his sack, which I will say it’s too early, Carrick should be given more time. This is because they’ll be able to learn from that experience, identify their weaknesses and work on them. The bookmakers still have Arsenal as favourite for the league and I also agree with that, one game doesn’t guarantee that a team will lose their spark like that. Seriously Enzo Maresca’s Manchester City have been excellent this season winning all their first five league matches but let’s be honest have this wins be really convincing I don’t think so rather they have struggled in all of those games which hasn’t make them genuine favorites for the season.

Not that those complaining because of Arsenal's lost are haters that believes they are off from tittle race but are people that believes in Arsenal's consistent form at the beginning of the season. Apart from their consistent form,  arsenal where considered most favourite team to become the champions of England again this season, so seeing a team with great ambition losing with such a terrifying scoreline from a weaker side is enough to criticise them.  From that game  i never believed it could end in such results which was why  invested heavily with hope and believe they will do well

As excellent as Raya has been and the Arsenal defense conceding three goals in an identical way is no luck, far from it.

Whhile it it's a skill that the Brighton players had others team could master something similar or maybe Arsenal can master how to cobe this especially Raya but until then I anticipate improvement from either them or their opponents.

Let's give credit where it due, last season Arsenal was at their best performance which was why they were able to win the premier league title. This season the team is still performing at a very high level and their chance of winning this season's premier league title again remain strong compared to many other teams.

The recent match between Arsenal and Brighton came as a surprise because nobody expected it or nobody saw it coming and it came that is football for you.

I already told those who wrote on this thread that day saying that they were disappointed with Arsenal's performance against Brighton, that they will never cease to amaze me, just a single loss for the first since this season started they were already feeling disappointed with a team that has won their first four matches before  Brighton ended that run a few days ago.

The fact majority of people are making an uncertain statement about last season and how Arsenal was privileged because no club performed as expected. Arsenal clearly worked hard for the title, we almost thought Arsenal would bottle the league again which clearly proves the win was not an easy one for the club.
Arteta pattern is becoming weak and known by other clubs, sometimes his strategy works while sometimes his strategy turns to failure like how he played the championship title match against PSG. It’s okay to have a good defense team definitely Arsenal is currently playing best in terms of defense but, sometimes these guys also need support, Brighton won Arsenal like they played with a weak team obviously Arsenal played a weak game, this season is definitely going to be tough and Manchester City is now leading.
