Well, everyone will want Manchester City to be punished differently and I believe they deserve it. But I think the reason the Premier League is taking its time to make decisions is that they are considering several factors, if they ban Manchester City, it could affect everyone. So, I will say they should be punished financially, as that would only affect the owners and force them to be more careful, so that such a thing won't happen in the future.

When it comes to things like this, it will be best for several factors to be considered before making any form of decision because banning them is going to affect a lot of things, because they even have a fan base and a lot of things are going to be disrupted, and we need to understand that football is a business and that is why they can not just make certain decisions. The truth is that the punishment is going to be light for sure, and that is, we should not expect anything serious from those that are expecting a ban, and the only thing that might happen is a point deduction.

Then there is going to be a fine also, but if that should be the case, Manchester City have the money to cover it, because that is the worst that they can do, and they should understand that they have to protect the business.

Manchester City have enough money and if they are fined then they will definitely be able to pay. But is a fine the punishment? If I kill someone and if I later give that person's family some money and say forget it, then for that amount of money, that dead person will come back to life. If only a fine is imposed then it will definitely be like discrimination, because those who have money can do whatever they want and those who do not have money will be banned for 2 years or more if they make such a mistake. There must be a big punishment for this kind of mistake so that no team makes this mistake again after seeing this punishment. If only a fine is imposed then we will see this mistake repeated in the future.

But that's what happens now, if you have money you have power. Man City clearly committed fraud with fake documents just to buy players, but on the other hand, they also don't feel guilty about the judge's ruling on the EPL lawsuit. Interestingly, nowadays this isn’t just about clubs and the league anymore, but it has entered into international relations.

Apparently the United Arab Emirates even warned the British Prime Minister that they might withdraw a planned investment of billions of pounds in the UK if a guilty verdict is given to Manchester City. The investment is aimed at a major high tech hub between Oxford and Cambridge which is rumored to become a competitor to Silicon Valley in the UK. And Sheikh Mansour definitely can't just stay quiet about this case, since he's the vice president of the United Arab Emirates and also the owner of Manchester City. It's interesting to see how the UK government will respond to this case because someone really has to be sacrificed here. It'll be interesting to watch who will win, money or justice?

What are you even saying? Like how is it going to affect everyone? Yes they have a fans base, but did they thought of what might befall their fans base before commiting those crime? Juventus had a case like this and was demoted, not only Juventus several teams has faced one or two penalties because of this same charge, so why should Manchester city's own be different, beside who give a damn about their fans base, they are not the biggest in England not even in top four when it comes to fans base, so why should that affect us, my take on this is, they should be punished so hard so others will learn from it.

It’s like you guys don’t understand the gravity of all the charges against Manchester City that’s why y’all saying is going to be just a fine, The Premier League might be lenient on them but it’s not going to be a slap on the wrist.

Any how it’s going to be it’s going to be very heavy at least, they’re a lot of people considering even relegations and even title removals and you think it’s just going to be a point deduction and fine, the crimes didn’t happen today. Maybe y’all didn’t know about the Juventus case… it’s somewhat similar.

A lot of players are withdrawing from international duties, I think every club are scared of losing their players due to injury. Just recently Bournemouth most inform player Alex Scott have withdrawn from the national duties due to injury. Bournemouth want to use this time to access him and see if he can be available when club football resumes this coming weekend.

Chelsea still remain keen on the player, they will still make a bid for him when the window opens in January. After losing Enzo Fernandez, Chelsea really need to bring in a top midfielder. Alex Scott still remains a top priority for them. Now Bournemouth needs to keeps him fit and available so they can make as much as they can possibly can from the player.
Most clubs feel very bad releasing their players to the national team especially when club football is ongoing all because of the extra stress they cause to the players which sometimes results to injury. It feels bad releasing your player only for them to come back injured. If Alex Scott situation is serious it will be a huge blow for Bournemouth.

Chelsea needs to get Enzo Fernandez replacement and Alex Scott would be suitable for them. The only problem is that I see him as more of attacking Midfielder rather than a Central Midfielder that Enzo was so I don't know if he would be able to really fill that spot and balance the midfield.

Every team should be responsible for what they did, when Manchester City is committing these set of crimes, they feels like they are the most richest club in England, they spend as they wish to dominate the league and they did; they got some fans from other teams when Pep joined them, and now most of their fans are not their fans anymore, that is why their fans don’t care because they have their main team, they are supporting Manchester City on a temporary basis.
Even Everton faced some charges in the premier league, they were penalized and got back proper after some time, so Manchester City should also face the punishment they deserve.

Yeah, all football lover's really want how Man city will be punished by violating FIFA rules. And many rival fans want Man city to be banned, why some want them to go relegation like England national league. Just as you said that Premier league is taking time to make decisions yeah, because if they take a decision that will affect Manchester city in years to come definitely it'll also affect them, we all knew that Manchester city is owned by United Arab Emirates which they're ready to spend money in all cost for Man city to survive this. I'm not a man city fan but i think they should be punished financially, because alots football fans can't imagine a club like Man city being banned even playing in national league that's to say the future of Manch city is automatically damaged.

If I kill someone and if I later give that person's family some money and say forget it, then for that amount of money, that dead person will come back to life. There must be a big punishment for this kind of mistake so that no team makes this mistake again after seeing this punishment. If only a fine is imposed then we will see this mistake repeated in the future.
We don't know if punishment would be severe or mid but if they don't make it a hard one, many clubs may just keep breaking the rules since they know the punishment won't be tough.  Manchester city has appealed the case so what we are waiting for is the final judgment. The final judgment on this case matters a lot because there are possibility that a similar case could repeat itself in the future, therefore, the judgement has to be transparent and punishment should be pass accordingly so that clubs would be more careful not to break the rules.

A lot of people are so much anticipating on what will happen to Manchester city because of what they did but I have not heard anything more severe and the way the case is taking longer time there is a chance or tendency this fine can be rip off but we can not tell for sure. However, since some teams has been punished for this same or similar act perhaps they should also punish them as well maybe people who are already doing this or trying to will change their ways .

Manchester city punishment will be more than paying some amount of money, Everyone knows that Manchester city are wealthy, and if they are fined, they will be able to pay the fine easily, but they are not going to give them that kind of punishment, they are going to give them punishment which is going to affect them, it’s going to dis stabilize them, so that other clubs will avoid doing similar thing in the future. I can’t really wait to see what the punishment will be all about, we all should know our faith, but they won’t ask them to pay any amount of money.

I feel the same, it wouldn't be just a monetary fine. That won't act as a deterrent. The penalty should be severe enough to make teams think twice about doing something like this again. But I think penalties like relegation would be too harsh and wouldn't be imposed in the Premier League. I also don't think it's possible for the championship to change hands. In addition to a money fine, there could be a points deduction. Maybe they could be banned from European competitions. England isn't like Italy, I don't think there will be a different kind of penalty.

Severe financial punishment would surely mean a great deal to the owners. But it certainly wouldn't stop there. There would probably be budget cuts which in turn could affect the general functionality of the club. Pay could be restructured, funds that ought to be designated to running programs for the community and managed by their social responsibility department could get gutted or reduced. Also, as embarrassing as all of this is for everyone at the club, it could also be demotivating for its players.
Financial punishment sadly doesn't affect just the owners. It trickles down.

115 charges and we're told they're found guilty on nearly all of the 115 charges, and somehow, someone is thinking that the punishment for such violations of existing rules will be all about money? If for any reason Manchester City's punishment isn't severe enough to serve as a deterrent to other top spenders in the English Premier League, it'll give others to courage to do same and pay money of found guilty. So I think that they'd definitely be fined money while other strong punishments like heavy points deduction and transfer ban will also be part of it.

Chelsea needs more than Enzo's replacement. They even need Caicedo's eplacement. Caicedo has started this season just like Rodri started last season, injured from the start. Lavia is strong, but the creativity that the midfield requires is seriously lacking. The loophole was made more obvious with Enzo's exit as well, so now they're left with a weak midfield.

I don't think Henderson can do that Midfield alone and Barco is still very inexperienced to handle the pressure there. Honestly Chelsea needs Caicedo back in play or someone with such ability before creativity can return to the Chelsea midfield. With Palmer and Joao Pedro joining the injury list, Chelsea attacking form is still at stake. Maybe its time Alonso made more use of Estevao who has seen little game time under his management.

Seriously I cannot agree less with you, Chelsea are currently held back more with leaky midfield of theres, I will easily say that Chelsea made a very bad decision or mistake in the summer regarding this midfield. They were aware that Enzo Fernandez was forcing his move to Manchester city and as a proper football club as you’re actually delaying such transfer you should be working tirelessly to get the replacement signed not a deadline saga like we had.

Another mistake is the choice of player they went for seeking experience, seriously they had options of getting players like Granith Xhaka who I find a much better option than the Henderson because even with his age he can still compete at the top level and in the period like this when options are not much available he will be a worthy choice to start certain games

Chelsea's current problem is not just their midfield, Chelsea's current problem is their entire team. Chelsea is currently going through a major restructuring and has many young players and a new coach. It will take some time for them to adapt under the new coach. They will not have the right decision to expect much from them at the moment.

Player purchases Maybe we will see next season how much better they are taking their team. Because this season they did not get the chance to play in the UCL and many high-quality players may not want to sign with Chelsea for it this season. This season we will be able to see Chelsea make a place in the UCL and next season we will see how strong a team they are.

This is just the truth, I understand Chelsea's fans'frustration but they need to know that, to make the team perform better and well, they need to be patient enough to allow the players and Alonso to understand themselves and bring out their best performance just the way Arsenal did, they need to continue to improve till they reach that peak of their potentials as a team but for now, they need time to grow and like I said earlier, I am not expecting much from them this season, probably they should just secure a spot in the champions league, so that they can have access to sign some players too. But I need to commend Alonso, he came into the premier league as a manager for the first time and he is seriously contending, even though, he was a player in Liverpool during his career, he should know the demands of premier league but to come back as a manager is another different story and I think, he is trying his best.

Well, you are right. Any punishment given to Manchester City won't just affect the people who are responsible for the crimes, but will also affect those who know nothing about it. And I believe that is why the Premier League is taking its time to state what punishment they will impose, but certainly they won't get away without being punished for everything they have been accused of. Though, with the look of things, it will take a long time before they are sanctioned.

Manchester United vs Tottenham

Manchester United and Tottenham, who are set to face off after the international break, are both struggling, as their performances have shown little promise despite the large sums of money they’ve spent on transfers.
Tottenham is in the worst shape, having yet to taste victory this season. This Manchester United vs. Tottenham match also carries the lingering resentment from the final that Manchester United failed to win.
