And the results is 10:1 for Tyson Fury against Francis Ngannou. Make sense, there are a lot of good and knowlegeable boxing fans here and they know what is this about. I do agree that Francis Ngannou will just have a puncher chance, and with that this could just be a exhibition match for Fury as him and Usyk are really bluffing each other and the first one to blink losses in the negotiation table.

It might be before 10 rounds hehe. Francis Ngannou has only reached the 5th round only once in MMA vs. Cyril Gane, a fighter who likes to fight at a distance. Gane's type of style does not force on his opponents to make them tired. However, Tyson Fury will be always in front of his face and force Ngannou to always take action and make mistakes. This will be over in 7-8 rounds or it might be earlier, I reckon. MMA fans should bring a big stretcher to carry Francis out of the ring after Fury is finished hehehehe.

I think we all have to agree that this is going to be a mismatch, obviously in favor of Fury. The guy literally had a lot of experiences in the heavy weight division, not to mention that he was born to box - so he knew every corner of the ring and survived the heaviest punches in this division.
While Ngannou who dreamed to become a boxer but actually did not happen, instead he fought in professional MMA has zero pro boxing experience. We have already seen enough that boxing and MMA is 2 completely different sports, though it's both the same contact sport, but totally different technically. MMA fighters tends to gas out at the middle of the scheduled round. Boxing may look like it's an easy sport than MMA, because you're basically just throwing punches and waiting for an opening, but boxing is actually more than that because when you gassed out and your feet is shaking, a huge chance you'll kiss the canvass.

I was wondering how this could happen but I now understand after reading Ngannou's flexible contract with PFL. This is probably the biggest payday in his career so good job to his manager or promoter for making it happen.

I can see it's the similar 10-point system but there's no mention of the number of rounds. I think Tyson will fight smart and play the long game since Francis doesn't have enough tank.

This was his dream contract and now that he gets it for real after leaving the UFC, he should really work hard to beat Fury no matter what happens because all he needs to do is to land those punches accurately and he also needs to have the right power to beat Fury because that's the only way he can win since Fury has the advantage when the fight will go for long. We know when MMA fighters switch to boxing they cannot handle fighting for 12 rounds since this is not something you just need to train for a few months to master, it took them years to be able to stand there and throw those punches for 12 rounds straight.

This is boxing. Tyson Fury is a boxer. Francis Ngannou is a MMA fighter. Who is going to win? Tyson Fury is just still the superior while Francis Ngannou do not have boxing skills, he will just train for it, although there is time for that but I see him as the underdog.

Francis started out as a boxer, he just pivoted into MMA. We all know he isn't going to outbox Fury but what makes this fighting appealing to me is he can sure knock him out. He's a harder hitter than Wilder so if he can floor Fury three times I think Ngannou can too. He has devastating knockout power. I think Francis should just come out swinging from the get go and try and catch him. If that doesn't happen within the first round just ease off the gas and try find a hole in Tyson's defences to get the KO. That's the only way he'll win. Either way I'm glad Francis is getting his payday that he deserves.

His knockout power is all Ngannou has and it's just a manner of how he will carry out those KO punches to defeat Fury because once he could not deliver it well and he gassed out by 2nd round, he will fall. Yep, it's a pro fight but there is no belt on the line.

If the fight will be in the octagon, I think the odds would be a bit favorable to Ngannou but this is boxing so it's close to a lopsided fight. It doesn't matter for Ngannou though since this fight can generate a ton of money for him that he can't earn in UFC for a year or two. This will be millions of USD.

This will be a great fight to watch as the two fighters have always wanted to have this battle between themselves. It is quite surprising that MMA fighter believed in himself that he will knock down Fury who is a boxer. It will be a big day for the winner of this fight because it is an exit package. I wouldn't know who to bet on yet because none of these fighters should be underestimated. What I will do is to bet on the fighter with low odds. Looking forward to watch this fight. Ngannou needs to work on his boxing skills.

I agree with you that Fury is master mind in boxing and he is going to win, but Ngannou can put him down in same way like Deontay Wilder did in first fight.

This is true, but Fury is best of the best in boxing, he is on different level compared to all other boxers.
He is one of my favorite boxers today, not just because of his fighting skills but because of his life story, he was very depressed few years ago, near suicide, extra fat overweight, and he came back from that.
This is a great story for a good movie one day.

There is no problem at all if he will fight inside the boxing industry because his camp and UFC (Dana White) has failed to come into a deal to renew his contract, so now, he got his own freedom without disrespecting anyone or any organization. This will be the best for him as well because Francis Ngannou is not getting that much from UFC despite being a champion during his years in the industry and despite being on the headlines after defeating almost everybody that crosses with him.

As of now, there are no detailed information regarding about this bout because I've read that Tyson Fury might put his belt on the line or maybe it will be a pure exhibition fight.

Yes, but I don't think that Fury will choose Ngannou if he knows that he can lose this fight. So he will have to used his experience here and we all know how technical Fury here as far as his defense. And I don't think that Ngannou has faster hands than Fury.

Story was that Ngannou dreamed of earning like Conor did with Floyd. But Dana White is not allowing him using the UFC contract which Ngannou didn't sign another contact of UFc since he wasn't also given the chance to fight Jon Jones. There is a long story of quarrel between Dana and Ngannou which Dana undermines Ngannou.

This time Ngannou has success in getting much money than what UFC can give in his entire UFC career. He may not win against Tyson but this is a vindication for Ngannou with his own promotion.

I think Tyson was also interested to prove who is the baddest guy on the planet thats why he also accepted this fight. And he is also making a huge money out of this fight.

Boxing experienced wise, it is Tyson Fury since he has been in boxing sports ever since while Francis Ngannou just transferred to boxing, even though he is a boxing disciple, the fight experience between a boxing ring and a UFC ring is very different especially the gloves worn during the fight.  Francis Ngannou might be a talented athlete but experience will speak a lot on this fight.

Although I am inclined to think that Tyson Fury will emerge victorious in this fight, I never remove the possibility of an upset because the opponent can throw punches too.
