You're right. The penalty was controversial and the fact that it was awarded after VAR review is even surprising. I think that's the natural position one's arm can be when in the air, and considering the fact the ball wasn't goal bound, the penalty shouldn't have stood, except of course the rule has changed. But inter didn't allow the referee's judgement dampen their spirit, they kept fighting and Arnautovic stepped up to give them the well deserved win.

Napoli have a good chance and so do Inter, if for example in the next few games they may fail to win, but I'm sure just getting a few defeats will not make either of them completely out of the title race. I believe this is the case for most leagues. Promoted clubs can't compete right away if they fail to make good recruitment in a short window. The difference between the last and the 15th can be less than 6 points. I'm pretty sure last year only 2 points separated the relegation zone and the 13th. It's really competitive.
