The games against Ajax were a big opportunity for Brighton to make up for their bad results in the group before. However I still can't be sure of them when it comes to being assertive for the Europa League title. They were considered as one of the top title contenders by bookmakers before the tournament started.

But now we see that they are quite an unbalanced team. Maybe they will be likely to move on to next round but it is very difficult for them to be more successful with this inconsistency. They are even worse in the Premier League recently as they couldn't win a game for a long time.

Brighton is slowly but surely playing better than before. You can see how brighton was climbing up so fast after it was getting two wins in a row. Brighton needs to get another win to lock a spot to the top 16.
It won't be so hard for brighton. Zerbi has been successfully fixing the problem in the brighton. Brighton has three points gap to the AEK.
As long as brighton will take full points in the upcoming game and i think that's enough to secure brighton's position at the top 16. The upcoming match is very hard to predict. brighton is still showing inconsistent performance.

The key owned by brighton to lock its spot to go to the next stage is quite big. I think that brighton will be doing it pretty well soon.

The pressure that comes with European Competition haven't been well handled by Brighton Coach and the players. They're a different Brighton this season unlike last season.

They have always played both sides scoring when they play at home this season. That was also sloppy defending.

The squad rotation didn't work for Liverpool coach, even if they equalized finally and saw it cancelled they shouldn't have won that game.

Jurgen Klopp must realize it so much, but it was surprising when they got a defeat against Toulouse. Yes, it was a mistake, they shouldn't be defeated by a small team like Toulouse. To be honest, in the Europa League competition I was not the same even though I watched every Ajax match.
IMO, it seems that Marseille and Brighton have a big chance of qualifying for the next phase. the only difference is which team has a ticket to the round of 16, and which team has to go through the playoff phase first. which means, if these two teams, Marseille and Brighton, win their match, these two teams will determine the final meeting of the group B phase.

So, now we review the Ajax side. This team from the Eredivisie league has experienced a significant decline in performance. Not only did they not win a single match in the Europa League, but they also experienced a decline in performance in their domestic league. Brighton has been gradually improving because earlier their form seem very inconsistent as thy had some mixture of wins and losses in their domestic League, they didn't seem like they were in their best form at the start of the season but they are now slowly becoming better.

They (Brighton) still have a chance to qualify pass the group stage of the Europa league but then making it pass the round of sixteen is something they will further have to work hard to get, because this season they Europa have gat some very good teams who are well inform such as Leverkusen who is making Waves in the bundesliga which happens to be very competitive this season, so Brighton have to be better than they are currently.

matches in the domestic league will not be a benchmark to see how genuine Brighton performance is in the european league, but we all know that it is very different because if a team has matches scheduled in other competitions, usually the team will save a little energy so as not to be too strong. compete in the domestic league and focus more on other competitions to win prestigious titles such as the current european league.
and for me currently Brighton performance is very good even though they are runners up in group B but the difference in points with Marseille is very thin and Brighton still has the opportunity to lead in group B because there are still 2 matches left to come.

This was Liverpool's first mistake and defeat in the European League and in my opinion Jurgen Kloop will immediately improve their team's performance to appear more consistent in the next match in the European League. They are doing great, and they did quite great last year as well, so they are on the rise, and Ajax on the other hand is doing terrible, right? They are not doing all that great and their results are unsatisfactory.

So the question is simple, in five years, do you see Ajax being better than Brighton? I can see that for sure, and that is the important part. Consistency is the key in sports, and a team that is consistently good, could always have bad years, and a team that rarely ever does good, could end up having a blast season. We will see Brighton get worse, and Ajax get better.

However, if I consider the group as a whole, the fact is that Marseille and Bayer Leverkusen also still unbeaten so far. Also even greater is about Bayer Leverkusen, because Bayer Leverkusen managed to win in all matches, while Atalanta had one draw and Marseille had two draws. So ya, with those who have managed to go undefeated so far, then of course they are certain to qualify for the next round. But regarding Atalanta, at least at this moment Atalanta is still in the top five in the Serie A standings. Therefore, I think Atalanta so far this season still looks fine in Serie A and also in the Europa League because Atalanta can still be in good position at the moment.

The defeat was not a disaster for Liverpool because Jurgen Klopp had other focuses so he chose to play his reserve players, because winning the English Premier League match is currently much more important than winning all the matches in the European League group phase because they only need one win and with two matches remaining quite confident that Liverpool will be able to achieve one win to secure a place in the knockout rounds.

After many years as a coach, Klopp is experienced enough to know at the end of a season, titles mean much. How many matches a team won in a season does not make too much sense if no title at the end. He knows that to go far in a long season, he must use his players very smartly to help them reserve their feet, avoid injuries and have as best fitness as possible when a season comes to its ending and at toughest time.

One defeat always brings some negative feeling, disappointment but at the season ending, if Liverpool can lift the Europa Cup trophy or Premier League trophy, their fans will be very happy and today defeat will be forgotten.

I think this is true about Klopp and he understands that it doesn't matter whether he plays a six win group stage with his team or not, the only thing that matters is that they get through the group stage in first place if possible and then keep going and go for the title. This won't really affect them and I also think they have played good enough to win it, they had the chances also dominated most of the game, but Toulouse was on the lucky side of things in that game and turned their chances into goals in the right moments.

Klopp doesn't really care about the result from the group stage as long as liverpool has been qualified for the next stage. It was surprising many people caused by liverpool was losing against a mediocre club and i was sure even after i aware if liverpool was not using the main squad. I must confess that while Liverpool's first team is incredibly strong, the outcome against Toulouse made me ponder over the poor performance of Liverpool's backup squad. Liverpool was not playing seriously against toulouse. It was disappointing many betters who have expected to get easy money from liverpool.
People shall never truy to bet on a club that has been securing a spot for the upcoming stage.

But this isn't fully true. It would be more exact to say that they are in a good position, but they are not qualified for the next round yet. In fact it could become unnecessarily close when they were to lose the next game in the Europa League. it is not likely, but saying that they have passed the group stage is wrong.

Since the next game is against the underdog I think Liverpool will finish the group stage in that game, but their goal should be to win the group as that helps them avoiding some of the bigger names in the next round. That is still an important goal that should be obtained.

Atalanta and Sporting Lisbon are the two competitive clubs in their group and is obvious that the both teams will qualify for the next round so whichever way it is i dont think if it will affect anyone of them should one lose to the other but however, Atalanta needs to win or draw in other to be confident about their qualification to the next round.

The both clubs have performed excellently well so far despite Atalanta not being too in-form in their league but for them to give more of their energy in the Europa league might really mean that they are up to something good.
