When compared to how well they did performed last season, it's obvious they have improved way better than they were last season and with their performance they are most likely to qualify for the champions league because they have been able to maintain top position in their domestic league and back here in the Europa they are at the top of their group winning all their home games in the Europa so far.

For me, there are only two teams in this group phase that are ideal as strong candidates. We can already guess that it is none other than Liverpool and Leverkusen. However, so far, only Leverkusen has appeared consistently in both the domestic league and this competition. As for Slavia Prague, I doubt they will be able to make it far into the next stages. However, their chances of qualifying for this group phase and even becoming group winners are wide open. I think if Mourinho didn't use his defense against Slavia Prague, Roma could have beaten them even in an away game.

Apart from that, several teams that are likely to drop out of the Champions League have begun to appear, although they are still difficult to predict. However, several teams that failed in the Champions League will give color to this competition in the race for the title. Also, there is another English team that cannot be underestimated, namely Brighton. De Zerbi's squad is very difficult to predict. Not infrequently, when this team plays against stronger opponents, Brighton is always able to keep up.

West Ham will face TSC who will definitely not qualify and Freiburg will play Olimpiakos and this is where the obstacle for Freiburg occurs. If Bayer Leverkusen can maintain these good results and great performance at least until the season break or the first half of the season, then at least Bayer Leverkusen really has a chance of getting the treble. Indeed, maybe judging Bayer Leverkusen to get a treble this season seems too exaggerated but after all, we won't know what will really happen later. Yeah possibly they could win one trophy this season because there performance has been very good, perhaps this season has brought favour for them because they have played up to 15 matches since September till now and they have won 14 matches out of 15 and draw only 1 match, what an impressive performance by Bayer Leverkusen and they are leading there group table while Bayern Munich is on the second position on the table.

In my opinion, there are 3 attackers of Leverkusen who have a big role to support the great performance of Leverkusen so far. They are Florian Wirtz, Victor Boniface, and Jonas Hofmann. As long as these players can always be in a good condition, I think Leverkusen can continue their good performance. Honestly, I expect more about their good performance until the end of the season that expect about their dump (decrease in performance).

Unless they have injury problems in the squad, they are not going to perform badly. If the players are healthy, they are going to continue performing well till the end of the season. Even if they do not win the Bundesliga title, they are going to finish in the second position of the table. Bayer Leverkusen's chances for the upcoming season are looking good to me. From what I can see, they have maintained a high level of performance throughout the Europa League and the Bundesliga. The fact that they've improved so much from previous season bodes well. Having said that, I agree that title predictions are a little premature. With Liverpool and other clubs eliminated from the UCL competing, the Europa League in particular features intense competitiveness. This season was probably the worst that Ajax Amsterdam is going through. I thought that after their two wins in the league this could be the moment where they can turn everything around, but it isn't happening. The loss against Brighton and now also the draw against Almere in the last minute of the game is another setback instead of a turnaround. I believe that this season will have consequences for several more seasons. Usually Ajax is a real talent factory, but when they don't play in the Champions League, they are no as attractive anymore for young players.

They shouldn't be too heavy on themselves, to be fair everyone has bad years, and that could happen. The idea is simple, Brighton is having a wonderful year right? They are doing great, and they did quite great last year as well, so they are on the rise, and Ajax on the other hand is doing terrible, right? They are not doing all that great and their results are unsatisfactory.

So the question is simple, in five years, do you see Ajax being better than Brighton? I can see that for sure, and that is the important part. Consistency is the key in sports, and a team that is consistently good, could always have bad years, and a team that rarely ever does good, could end up having a blast season. We will see Brighton get worse, and Ajax get better.

They should be very heavy on themselves because the consequences for Ajax Amsterdam have a nightmare season weigh much heavier than the consequences for Brighton having a nightmare season. Ajax Amsterdam was the first address for many young players who couldn't yet make the next step to the big clubs in England or Spain, but still wanted to play at a club with great perspective and the Champions League. Perspective is falling apart, Champions League is history. The Eredivisie itself is by far not as attractive as the Premier League. Winning the Bundesliga or maintaining a good position in the top four clubs in Bundesliga qualifies them directly to the Champions League immediately. They don't have to wait until the end of the season before they do that.
Also, the Europa League would be definitely difficult to win, one of the ways to learn is through failures and another person's failure. They lost to Jose Mourinho and Roma and I believe they must have learnt some quality lessons.

I'd want them to challenge for the tittle that's the Bundesliga until the end of the season, watching Bayern Munich winning for tue past years made that league completely boring. Would be excited to see a bloody change.

Laverkusen performance is quite good this season, both in the Bundesliga and in the European League. We can look at tables points in these two competitions, so we will see they sit in the top position. Xabi Alonso squad has so far been unbeaten in these two elite competitions, and I think this positive trend will persist in the future. I think they deserve to be one of the candidates here, although we don't underestimate the other favorite clubs. Liverpool is another strong candidate that I think should be taken into account, and don't forget AS Roma with Jose Muorinho, I quite like the Portuguese man. They have performed well in other seasons but we have never seen such good performances from them in other seasons as they have been able to perform this season.  Apart from being in the best position in the bundesliga, they have been performing very well in the Europa League this season. At the start of the season, Liverpool were considered to be one of the most promising teams for the Europa League, but with the way Bayern Leverkusen have been performing this season, there is no doubt that Bayern Leverkusen have as much potential as Liverpool. Yes, if we compared Leverkusen performance last seasons with the current season, it is very different because it seem like Alonso has learn valuable lesson in the past and made it better to bring his club to be more stable likes the current season and the proof is thats Leverkusen is really experiencing true consistency. really stronger even in the domestic league as you said Leverkusen look very stronger and stable.
So the stronger candidate at the moments is likely to be taken by Leverkusen to get the European League trophy, but after the clubs failed to qualify for the Champions League, we can consider it again because I'm worried thats there are others club from the Champions League who will break Leverkusen dominanced and for the times being, I am always betting the Leverkusen matches was very profitable.

I will not talk about Bundelisga since we are in the Europa League topic but Leverkusen definitely have a good chance to win the Europa League title this season since they are very fit, receiving few goals while scoring many and they aren't real threat for them except maybe Liverpool. That said before knowing the teams that will join from Champions League here, most likely Group F, A and B (Sevilla maybe?) might have good teams, otherwise the other ones are normal ones.
