@rahmad2nd while I agree that champions league team’s arrival can change the dynamics a lot but the only team that I’ll bother to be on the lookout is Sevilla because of their past history of winning this competition. Also for now we should only focus ourselves on Liverpool because I had underestimated Liverpool before but now I’m convinced that they’re actually going to be one of the toughest team to beat in this competition.

Hahaha, it very true that several teams that are currently competing in the Europa League must prepare to welcome the arrival of the top teams that were eliminated from the UCL.

Brighton is strange because they have these very weird results but in both directions.

When you look at their season, they got started with two games winning both of them 4-1. Then they lose at home against West Ham 1-3, but then win against Newcastle 3-1. Then they win against Manchester United away 3-1 and after another 3-1 at home, they lose 1-6 against Aston Villa. What the.... is going on there? In my opinion these results are really weird and it would destroy their Europa League dreams if they have one bad day and lose a game big time in the knockout rounds.

Overall, Brighton has a great chance of qualifying from the Europa League group phase, but of course De Zerbi must improve his players motivation and mentality to be even better to secure a slot for his team. The match on matchday four will bring them together again with Ajax, I don't think there will be any significant difficulties because the Dutch representatives are in very bad condition, and of course this is very beneficial for Brighton to get the three points again.

I see that Liverpool and Leverkusen can be killers of other teams, both of them always appear consistently in the Europa League and their respective local leagues. Luck was not on their side last season as they failed to finish in the UCL zone, their performance this season is on par with the top UCL teams. I prefer Liverpool and Leverkusen to appear in the Europa League Final because their quality really deserves to be in the final.

I think that the scheme of europa league shall be changed to add more excitment from the football fans at this moment. People were being so excited with UCl caused by there were many big clubs participated in the UCL.
The current scheme was good but people are losing their interest once there was no a lot of clubs with big fanbase.

Did you knows, Barcelona in the previous two seasons and until now always played in the Champions League, but in the previous two seasons Barcelona continued in the Europa League . But what was the result ? The result was a loss and Barcelona was knocked out and with that, the teams coming out of the Champions League do not fully guarantee tobe the best in the Europa League in the knockout phase in the Europa League. Also yea, this season that Europa League also haveLiverpool and Bayer Leverkusen who have had very impressive performances and results sofar this season. My guess is that Newcastle or AC Milan will stop in this competition, but that doesn't rule out the possibility of Dortmund dropping out of the Champions League and joining the Europa League competition. Away games always make a huge difference and that applies to games in the Europa League and Champions League much more than it does to games in the respective national leagues. The fan support of the home teams is overwhelmingly stronger because of all the travel aches and strains, depending on how far the fans would have to go of course. I could be wrong on this one, but I think for games in the domestic leagues the quota for the opponent's fans is higher than it is for games in the Europa League.
