That's right, it could be that this season's European League will give birth to new champions with Liverpool and Leverkusen. We know that Sevilla and Roma have dominated the competition for almost the entire season, but unfortunately, Sevilla has always been the champion every season. But Liverpool's failure to reach the Champions League zone this season means their chances of winning the European League are quite threatened.

On the other hand, the arrival of Leverkusen, who are currently performing extraordinary in any competition, makes the competition to win the European league title even more exciting. But I don't really support Sevilla in the EUL race (if they finish in third place in the group stage in the UCL) because of their inconsistent performances. Liverpool and Leverkusen are tough opponents for Sevilla when viewed in terms of team strength and cohesiveness.

I think, Liverpool are doing well now in this season because what they did to Toulouse in their home made many people to believed that they are in a solid ground to win something special in this Europa league competition, if they can maintain this good performance through out the tournament. For Liverpool to achieved 5 goals from this match show that they are ready to manifest the same thing they did to Toulouse to achieved three points to other teams in premier league competition  to move to second position in the premier league table because they are very close to that position. Liverpool coach was just smiling the way his players was disgracing their opponent from first half to the second half to dominate all through the match to achieved victory.

Leverkusen so far is performing awesomely in the Europa , they have won all three game played so far in the Europa this season, they are currently at the top of their group same applies to Liverpool and I think this two teams are sure to make it pass the group stage in the Europa, I don't think if Sevilla eventually crash out of the champions league they would be a problem to Leverkusen and Liverpool in the Europa.

Sevilla would not be a problem to these two team as they currently have their focus well enough on the Europa and are using this opportunity to gather enough points such that they most likely would be far ahead by the time Sevilla would want to coming in with such for. Moreover klop has not been able to win the Europa with Liverpool so he aswell will be working so hard this season as it may be his opportunity to achieve this with Liverpool.

There performance has really been very commendable right from last season they have  been really in a good form but however Liverpool was more stronger during the time of Sadio Mane, Liverpool use to be very strong and always a threat to other clubs because of there impressive performance.

Although I'm not actually saying that Liverpool has lost performance but what I'm trying to say is that Liverpool would have done more better if Sadio Mane were to still be on Liverpool because during his time he was one of there key players with a very tactical pattern that always create a scoring chances for Mohammed Salah.

So there performance now cannot be compared to there performance when Sadio mane was there but however just like you said they have really played very well on few of there matches maintaining the leader on there group, there last match against Toulouse doesn't seem much of a difficult match for them and they won the match without most of there key players imagine if they had use there first eleven the goals would have been more than 10 goals.

I do agree that their old times with Mane and Firmino and all that period was a great one but they couldn't just keep that team intact forever and expect a good result, look at how Mane is playing right now, that dude was basically fired from Bayern, well sold but he was more like fired at that point and only Saudi leagues took him, if he was still good don't you think some other European club would have wanted him?

So all in all, they just had some issues and that's why they are not getting those great results and needed to change the team. New team has been playing like this for a while and getting used to each other and I bet that they are going to end up being better and going to get used to each other more and more with time.

With the performances and results that we've seen from Liverpool in the UEFA Europa League competition this season, I think it's safe to say that the Reds are favourites to win the competition this season. They've been able to convincingly win the three games they've played so far in the competition and I don't think there's any who's gonna them from lifting the Europa League title if they continue with their current form in the competition.
Having been unable to finish in the top four of the English Premier League table last season and qualify to play in the most prestigious club competition which is the UEFA Champions League this season, Liverpool knows winning the Europa League this season will not just reward them with an European trophy but a chance to participate in UCL next season regardless of where they finish in the league at the end of this season and that's why they're surely gonna give their best to win the competition this season.

It'll be embarrassing to see them underperforming in the European Competitions especially the Europa League Competition. Much was expected from Jurgen Klopp and he didn't do so well, this is a chance to prove he's in control and hasn't lost his head unlike last season.
It still doesn't sound well to make Liverpool the  winners already for the competition. Wait until you see those clubs marching into the Europa League Competition aggressively.

I dont like Nunez in Liverpoool. Last season he was really bad and i dont know how he plays this season,but this season at least he scores goals and dosent miss like last season. Still he missed some easy chances and that costed Liverpool last season. No doubt Liverpool is going to next stage.

I think Nunez was lucky in another form, namely one goal and one indirect assist to Gravenberch, and he can forget that moment even though he laughed at it a little. Failure to convert a very good opportunity, but all players must have felt something similar. The final score was 5-1 for Liverpool victory, that was a very promising performance and I consider Jurgen Klopp's squad to be very worthy of being favorites in the European League this season.

Of course Liverpool is not alone in the ranking of favorite teams, and I also do not underestimate Roma and Laverkusen and the teams that were eliminated in the UCL. However, the quality of the Reds is clearly very different overall, both in terms of experience in European competitions and in terms of squad depth with other teams in this competition. Talking about mentality, we certainly understand the mentality of Salah and his friends, there is a big possibility that the Reds can achieve this.

Liverpool is like his family to Jurgen Klopp so he can take any step to improve this club and achieve the club. Last season they didn't qualify for the Champions League but this season they will definitely qualify for the Champions League and they qualified for the Europa League last season and this season they will win the Europa League title.

Liverpool are favorites against any team when they play at Anfield. As you said Liverpool will take 3 points against Toulouse at Anfield you are right but not only did Liverpool take three points but they blew Toulouse away 5-1.

When Liverpool play at Anfield, we don't have the slightest hesitation and throughout the game the support will be there.

This club does have great attackers but the defenders are not so good. I saw that sometimes the defenders are also making some bludners that was costing the club a lot. Liverpool could get cleansheet in any matches but the defenders are also the main problem here.
It's also happening in the english premier league as well. If Liverpool were to lose against its competitors in the Europa League, the club would feel a sense of shame, especially considering that Liverpool's level is far superior to clubs like Toulouse.
This is also my main reason to pick liverpool anytime without needing to think for twice. Im not doubting liverpool in this competition caused by liverpool was also winning europa league trophy a few years ago.

In this Group Phase it is quite easy for the top teams and so far there have been no surprises, but in the know out round I think the Europa League will be quite surprising, there will be many surprises that happen like in the Europa League in the previous season.
Liverpool are currently quite the favorites to win the Europa League, but in my opinion, don't overdo it because the competition in the Europa League will be quite fierce, especially in the final round, there will be several teams that will come down from the UCL which might also become fierce competitors in the race for the Europa title League this season.

So far, only a few teams are big candidates to become strong competitors in the race for the Europa League trophy. Based on voting, Liverpool is the strongest candidate to win the trophy. and actually, I totally agree with that. However, on condition, Klopp must maintain the fitness of his players with the busy match schedule they will be undertaking.

For me, I have remained consistent in choosing Leverkusen since the beginning of this thread. although in reality, there is no guarantee that Alonso will be able to bring his squad to the final round of this competition. In fact, this group phase is not over yet. Plus, several teams that have been eliminated from the Champions League will join in the excitement by taking part in this competition. and what is certain is that the Europa League still has many matches to be played. along the way, the team I mentioned could have collapsed without hesitation.

This is what is unique about football, it is difficult for us to predict precisely and accurately. There is no other way, apart from just following every match presented by this competition. and I think it's quite interesting to be involved in betting. Toulouse was not a strong enough opponent for Liverpool so the Liverpool team very easily won that match at their own home. Apart from that, this is not actually about underestimating the opponent, but also about the level of quality of players each team has and in general Liverpool has much better quality players than Toulouse. Oh yes, by the way, Liverpool is playing in the Europa League, not in the Champions League this season, so you have to be able to differentiate between the Europa League and the Champions League.

Liverpool may be in a group they looks easy but then I don't think it's very easy just the way you referred to it because europa league is a league where teams who were able to finish tops in their domestic leagues meet so it will be unfair to see any team as not been strong enough because they had to win all others in their local league to get to the league of relatively good teams , they may have varying team dept but they are not weak because I'm their domestic league they are champions.

This is an Europa thread and Liverpool isn't in champions league so I think it's an oversight from your end check your post again. Anyways Liverpool is definitely going to stay tops of their group by their recent performance, but I think when they pas this stage and happen to meet stronger teams such as Leverkusen and others in the Europa, they will have their strength in the Europa tested.
