yep, I fully support your opinion and not only that, Liverpool has to fight against other strong teams currently in the european league such as Leverkusen and this team will be a very competitive opponent and also maybe as you said a team from UCL will be present there. This third competition failed to qualify.
so we are too quick to speculate who will lift the european League trophy, while Liverpool strong performance is not the only one. there are other teams that have performances equal to Liverpool and lets see first which UCL team does not qualify and continue competing in the european League. and we can speculate after the next round runs.

The idea of saying "favorites" doesn't mean that they are guaranteed to win, it just means that they have the highest chance out of all teams. We can't just say that some smaller club have a higher chance, obviously Liverpool has the highest chance.

This doesn't mean that they have 100% chance to win, even if they have 20% chance to win, and others have less than 20% chance, that means Liverpool is the favorites to win, that's what the odds normally say too, in a league situation or a cup, if a team has 2.20 odds at the start of the season before anything starts, that means they have less than 50% chance to win, but they are still the favorites. And this is why Sevilla and Villarreal have won the trophy alot in recent times because they excel at winning ugly.

It is too easy for Liverpool now. Because they have a group full of much weaker teams. Maybe they lost to Toulouse but Klopp did some significant rotation in that match as well. They were already comfortable at the first position so it was the right call there to tell the truth. But I'm pretty confident that they would secure the lead anyway.

After that it is going to be really crucial for them to manage a busier schedule in the best manner. This season they look like they are back to their usual performance. This could mean that we would see an effective level of performance from them not only here but also the EPL at the same time.

So far so good,  Liverpool has had a favourable season this season since the beginning of the season I have viewed Liverpool's performance to be likened to their performance in the 2021 season when the club was almost topping the third position before they lost some key players some due to injuries and others by transfers to other clubs,  but all the same, Liverpool have shown a lot of positive signs in this season and there is no doubt that some similar clubs may stand as opposition to them but in the end, I believe Liverpool will end the current season on a good note.

Of course Leverkusen is the most consistent team where they have won 4/4 matches so far. There are two other matches awaiting them in the group stage and it doesn't seem like they will have any problems maintaining their winning consistency. Liverpool are better than Leverkusen in terms of probability of getting to the final, but I hope this will change once all the teams enter the knockout phase of the season.

If there is a team that can be expected to progress to the final this season, then I think Liverpool should be one of them. Leverkusen has looks amazing so far, it's performance hasn't look inconsistent, but we can see at the end of the season whether Leverkusen remain consistentcy like this and if Leverkusen manages to winning the season title with a position just above Bayern Munich, it mean that Leverkusen performanced is no longer in doubt and can be improved say Leverkusen's strength is almost equal to Bayern Munich. We can see that in their previous meeting they played with a draw of 2: 2.
