De Rossi wasn't a creative coach. He was a monotonous coach who repeatedly used the same strategy and i have observed it based on the last matches and i take a conclusion that if acmilan probably playing offensively against roma caued by pioli may feel so confident to beat roma with playing offensively like what it did in the last match against roma. I'd like to point out how de Rossi consistently uses 4-3-3, as opposed to the image above, which shows when Roma being coached by Foti and it was losing against acmilan with huge margin, rossi will be kinda different with foti but let's see. I predict that there will be no significant changes to the Roma. The club will use a 4-3-3 offensive against Acimlan.
The main issue with Acmilan is that it frequently uses 4-2-3-1, whereas Roma can use the same offensive strategy of 4-3-3, but it can also be fully concentrated on defenseive too. Totally depends on Roma's strategy for the first leg that will happen soon.

Lecce who are outside the top 10 were able to surprise us by holding Roma to a 0-0 draw, but I think that does not make Roma weak because it is normal for a club with a new coach to experience ups and downs in performance like Roma at the moment, I think Roma will soon bounce back from the defeat and of course will provide competition that is again tight in the league and Europa League,  Roma still have 2 weeks left to prepare before the Europa League match starts and surely they will try to return their form back to winning ways and of course Lazio will be able to be an outlet and the beginning of their revival later in the league before facing Milan.

He is a young coach and does not have enough experience as a head coach so far. At Roma, he did tried to let Roma return to Mourinho tactics but their players did not play well in that match. He is making impression with Roma but to succeed, he needs to be flexible in tactics and if he fails, he will be like many young coaches with impression in early of career but later fail to grow up more.

It makes sense if you mention the names of the teams because out of all 4 teams really deserve to be in the semifinals. But I am quite doubtful considering that this is still the first leg match and in the second leg the result could be different. For Liverpool and Leverkusen, I'm sure both of them will crush their opponents in two legs, but for Benfica and Milan, I don't think their chances are as big as you imagine.

It could be said that Benfica and Milan will face quite comparable opponents and maybe if they both manage to win decisively in the first leg then they won't have any worries in the second leg. I do not see Roma as a club that will be that difficult for Milan to win, and this is why I don't see Roma in the list of the clubs playing the semifinals. I just don’t see the need or relation to base the outcome of an European competition match on what the teams are performing in their domestic leagues. This is why teams gives match necessity to the trophies they need most than those they don’t need, this is why their performance in the domestic league shouldn’t be used to judge them in the Europa League competition. All the teams you’ve mentioned have been playing well in this league and that is what have brought them this far in the competition, so it is very likely that the unexpected happens at the outcome of this match schedules. I am still envisioning a Liverpool and Bayern Leverkusen final and that is my prediction or rather speculation on the outcome of this tournament.
