Of course every team wants to show their best performance in every match but I don't think that can be done by all teams. And the busy schedule means each team has to prioritize their matches. Maybe what you say is true. But still, I personally am used to doing it. Namely analyzing a team in all the competitions they play. Even though in the end the results are still difficult for us to predict. For example, last season we knew that in the European League there were even Barcelona and Arsenal. but we saw last season that it wasn't Arsenal and Barcelona who advanced to the final but instead Sevilla and Roma. If teams want to hold good performance in both domestic and UEFA, they needed few things for this firstly is having huge funds like PSG and Manchester City if they can't afford this other way is just keeping with coach like we have Jürgen Klopp or Mikel Arteta and give them time for establishing team which can happen in 4 or 5 years this is the best option for them otherwise winning in both leagues are never been easy for them.

I feel like Milan has a little bit better chance. Doesn't mean that I do not give Roma any chance to win, of course Roma could end up winning this game as well and that is a possibility, and there are two legs so they will have two chances to win. just comparing the performance of these two teams, it is very clear that Xabi troops are much stronger than West Ham except that, as a surprise, several Leverkusen players are injured and that's when Leverkusen will experience difficulties.

Atalanta have been an improving side overtime. They've had some rough edges but their performance in the league is still seen. Even though they may not be top trophy contenders, they're trying to stay in the domestic league instead of relegating. They'll be playing against Liverpool in the next phase of the UEL and goodnews is they've been able to gather enough confidence and momentum for the game which still puts them in and advantageous spot of finishing with a tangible result regardless.

 Of both teams, there's struggle atmosphere present and even though Liverpool won't take mercy with them, the both teams will strive to see that they either win or get a draw at the end of the first leg. One would have to wait patiently for the game's final result. There'll definitely be an advancement of either teams after the second leg of the contest. The EPL is competitive too and so focus should be put in it but the UEL trophy to me would actually have more worth than the EPL.

 I believe that Liverpool has everything it takes to be champions in this season's UEL, their only challenge may be Leverkusen though but they're definitely up for a competitive game. They've got the players and skills with both teams having the same goal and vision ahead of the competitions too. If discussing the two strongest teams in the Europa League and the two most favorites for the Europa League, Liverpool and Leverkusen would come first. These two teams have been performing consistently since the beginning of the season and have maintained consistent performances till now. What you said is true, currently the three teams must be able to beat every opponent to reach the semi-finals, besides Liverpool, Leverkusen of course AC Milan can be our favorite for a team that can reach the semi-finals later, for the match against Roma of course it is not a difficult match in my opinion because so far AC Milan has a good record and performance over Roma in the league,  I personally would not deny that Milan's consistent performance in the league will be able to show also in the Europa League at this time.

I agree with you, from the performance of the teams in the competition, it is very possible to see them come out according to your listing but on the other hand, football sometimes may not end as expected as the team with the biggest odd to win the competition may end up not getting to the finals. From your list and my personal observations, it is very possible to see AC Milan which is ranked 3rd best according to the list to be ahead of Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen because the two teams are not just fighting to win the Europa league alone but they are also fighting to win their different league and this may divide their concentration in focusing on the performance in the Europa sincw they will be playing both league games and the competition also.

AC Milan has a better chance of reaching the Europa league finals if they perform very well because in the league Inter Milan has already won the league looking our the gap between them so Milan will need to focus more on the Europa league to make sure they get to the finals and win the trophy as it will increase their confidence as a team.
