Marseille couldn't score a goal or even try to score. They didn't produce any real opportunity from the few attempts they had. They just made the life of Brighton and Hove Albion easier in this match since they were dominating the game and attacking.

I didn't watch this match, because there were too many matches in the Europa League. previously, I predicted that Marseille would win the match by a narrow margin. It's a shame, Genarro Gattuso's squad was unable to carry out its task well. The UCL group stage is off, Roma and Slavia Praha has advanced unto the next stage of the contest. Even though Roma are a side that were more or less struggling in the group stage games. They didn't have so many goal differences and then Praha made every game they played very much difficult for them, putting them to extreme positions too. Well the good thing is that they advanced to the next stage which is what matters most.

 They were able to bounce back in their last group encounter and it saw them through to the round of 16 stage of the tournament. I've closely followed the development at Liverpool since the start of the season and I don't think that there's anyone who has done same that will want to write them off as potential winners of the UEFA Europa League competition. The fact that they lost to Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise doesn't in anyway make them less of a favorite to win the trophy. Before the game yesterday, Liverpool had already secured top spot as the group winners of their group and you don't expect the manager of the side to field a strong side when they already have a very busy schedule. It must be noted that liverpool never played use its key players in the lost matches. Look at the line up first. Klopp was giving an opportunity for the young talented players to play against the europa league club and yeah they are losing but at least they can still learn something from this bad result,.
