If AS Roma was a weak team because they were not in the top four of the league, they should have lost to AC Milan in the quarterfinals. I don't think we can use the league rankings as a reference. He's proven to be worthy to handle well any team presented to him and definitely I believe he can do well if another team is put in his care. Maybe his strategies work well for him and can still work well with another team. With Leverkusen, he's done well and he's working towards an aim for the club.

 He's been watched closely to see how well he'd be able to keep up with the games for the team and see how well he can uphold against their biggest threat in the Bundesliga. He's just been able to prove himself worthy to take on a higher ranked club. His good at what he's done so far even with a less productive squad as Leverkusen, now one would imagine how enormous he'd achieve with a productive squad with higher player capacity and quality. Leverkusen is undefeated in all the competitions for this season. They have no lose in Bundesliga, DFB Pokal, and Europa league. I think this is a perfect season for Leverkusen, they can deal with every match without a lose. They have a winning mentality under Xabi Alonso's management. With this condition, we can assume that Leverkusen is ideally better than AS Roma. Even if AS Roma performance has been improved, they still experience some losses. For both clubs, the Europa League semifinal match will be one of the most serious matches they have faced this season, because this match will determine their steps to the next stage. Leverkusen has the ambition to win the treble this season, and Roma has the ambition to advance to the final and make amends for their failure last season. Overall, we have 5 matches remaining in the Europa League, 4 semifinal matches and 1 final match which will determine which team is truly strong and worthy of winning the Europa League title this season.
In about week the first leg match will start and this will be the initial match for the team with its superiority to be able to get more favorable aggregate for the settlement of the second leg later.

Marseille vs Atalanta, the first leg match will give Marseille the advantage on paper because they are playing at home, this is good opportunity for them because in the second leg Atalanta will have the home advantage and Atalanta is not weak team.

Even though Roma could be Leverkusen's toughest opponent in the Europa League this season, I don't think that Roma can beat Leverkusen, who until now have consistently played quite well in their matches. Yesterday I thought Leverkusen would lose to Stuttgart, but that again didn't happen to Leverkusen because they were able to compensate in the final minutes of the match in the Bundesliga so that could happen again when Leverkusen faces Roma in the first leg of the Europa League in the semifinals.
