There is another team qualified to Eurobasket wqhich don't see playing in it often. It's Sweden. Don't really know many their players, but I remember that Jeffrey Taylor have Swedish passport, maybe he will join team in summer.

Croatia really had bad luck with their group cause the worst team (Cyprus) is already qualified so while in other groups the 3rd place is enough to go to the Eurobasket, in this group you had to become 1st or 2nd. Of course France gets first and then it's them and Bosnia & Herzegovina fighting for the last spot.
A bit of an unfair scenario but it is what it is sometimes. Losing away in Bosnia & Herzegovina by 20 lost them the tie breaker so that's why the France game was do or die and even though they fought well it wasn't enough.

Latvia beating Spain twice was also surprising, especially the win in Spain where they were like 11 point underdogs.

That Latvia win away was unexpexted, but their win at home isn't big surprise. Though, I didn't expected such Latvia dominance and that game will end with almost 20 points difference. For Latvia it was like friendly game, but they had almost all their best available players, while Spain roster was far from optimal, even for FIBA window.

Yeah, obviously I didn't saw these games, but way how you described - it doesn't sounds nice.
Though, you made me to remember strange story from our league final maybe 16 years ago. My team won one game by 42 points and just in 2 days we lost them by 26 points. Against team who didn't even had coach, Zalgiris in this final was managed by their most experienced players like Marcus Brown. It was strangest final series in whole my life.

The best match of the night was played in Madrid and Real defeated Barcelona 96-91.
Real won the match in the 3rd quarter. Real, who had a bad start to the league and had been defeated for 3 matches, stopped the bad trend.

Really shocking that Fenerbahce lost so easily against Maccabi. They got destroyed and this isnt the first time they got beaten so badly in an away game. Fenerbahce plays much better in home games but this defeat wont hurt them so much because they are o most confirmed in the playoffs

I wasn't also expecting us to play this terrible. These are meaningless losses while trying to secure top 6. We still have a missing game to play as well but we shouldn't get complacent at the same time. Our shots were horrible. And this must be our worst 3-pointer performance of the season.

Currently Anadolu Efes are playing home against Alba Berlin. The easiest game of their fixtures. I expect a comfortable win for them. Luca Banchi needs to be more convincing on the fans' eyes by getting more wins. Otherwise people will continue to believe there was no need of coach change.

Boring Friday in Euroleague, all favoriteswinning their games big. Expected fight from Baskonia, but they're getting destroyed by Partizan in Belgrade by 20 points at halftime.

I didn't even payed attention to this result because I wass confident that Fenerbaheche will have no troubles against one of worst Euroleague teams. Recently all looked good for Fenerbahche, but maybe with this few weeks break they simply lost rhytm. Ok, shit happens for every team, but you can't lose in such way. I don't watch Fenerbahçe's matches very much however I don't think they played very badly against Maccabi. They had a quite unlucky match. They had nearly 50 three pointers in the match and the percentage was really terrible despite most of them being free shots. The worrying thing for Fenerbahçe in this match was their defending. Maccabi scored the points every time they penetrated inside on offense.

It was a really convincing win for Anadolu Efes. But it was a thing that was supposed to happen considering how terrible Alba Berlin are. The more important thing is to have a win streak to increase their chances for play-in showdown. They are one win away from it for now.

But every season Anadolu Efes are leaving their chance to final weeks of regular season. This was a team that won the Euroleague 2 years in a row. But in these years they are having big problems. Maybe they just need to decide on a coach and give him enough time to make the team strong again.

Looked at remaining schedule and it's tough. Only easy opponent is Alba, all other is teams which fight for playoff/playin or better spot on the top part of the table. But I wish that they would make it. Watching their games in playoff series should be very attractive.

I don't think they were sensible shots at all, but luck was on his side and they all went in.
As they say, he had very warm hands. That's exactly what happened yesterday. Paris could not play well in the last 10 seconds of the match. They made simple turnovers.
I don't think Paris will make it to the top eight this year. Their staff is not enough either. It may happen if they build a good squad in the coming years, but it is not possible this year.
Their only match is the Alba Berlin match, as you said.

Guduric really makes difference at Fenerbahçe. His absence is felt a lot when he isn't able to play. It can be seen from a simple comparison between the Maccabi Tel Aviv and Paris matches. When he was back against Paris we played much better. He also brought the win to us by a really great move in the last moments. Otherwise Nadir Hifi's lucky 3-pointers were going to cause us to lose this match.

We are in Milano tomorrow. We lost to them home earlier. I hope we will win this time. They are trying to hold onto the playoffs so we had better be ready for everything.

Nadir Hifi caught my attention during the Paris - Fenerbahçe match. I followed him again yesterday and he scored 17 points yesterday too.
I think this young man will be in very good teams in a year or two.

Paris only played bad in the 3rd quarter, the rest they played ok and just got unlucky sometimes. I don't understand why they would continue jugging up 3s when they are simply not falling for them! I mean come on, 5 of 28 is not even 20% from 3, that's terrible. If you have good splits in the 2 point area (and under the basket) where you also grabbed more offensive rebounds just don't fall in love with the 3 and play old school from inside the arc.

Theis for Monaco finally seems to warm up having his best showing since moving back to the Euroleague. 21 points and 7 rebounds in 28 minutes is a very solid outing for him and by far his best game with Monaco so thus far.

We had realy great Greek derby tonight. Olympiacos had full control most part of game, but in last few minutes they almosted choked. Panathinaikos made great comeback and had chance to win game on lat posession. Very symbolic that ball was in hands of Sloukas, but he didn't made buzzer-beater.
Another great game was in Munich were winner was decided in last seconds too. Efes were more confident than Bayern in clutch moments and takes very important win. Yesterday we saw huge comeback of Zalgiris after halftime. They were down by 20 against Paris, but they won game despite it. Nothing surprising that ball was in Francisco hands on last poession and he decided outcome of the game. Zalgiris is still alive.

SUre was a nice game and a great defensive battle at times. Those Greek derbies almost never disappoints, something we can reply on. I made a small wager on Pana when they were down big and was able to cash out with profit once they cut it close. Too bad there wasn't enough time to complete this awesome comeback, that's life.
Bayern also choked against Efes after a terrible first half but a great third quarter and brining a lead up to 6 points in the forth. DIn't understand why they suddenly stopped playing and let Efes back in the game after having full control.
