Only adults should gamble. Its a means of entertainment, maybe yielding some money as well. But things change when you started a family. Kids are like sponges. They absorb everything you say and do. When you have kids really have to communicate with them and try to not be distant to them as much as possible and then know how to show that you are not an enemy but a teammate that is helping them grow. don’t let them resent you if they don’t get what they want. it’s not good to spoil them.

Views on parenting can vary dramatically, but almost every parent makes sure their child is not interested in gambling. The methods can be different and it is quite normal, but I know from my own experience that the system of prohibitions never function as desired, and that's why I'm talking about it. Any system of inhibitions needs an additional system of tracking and punishment. Whether your child becomes your friend and trusts you depends on your actions. I try to explain to my children the risks of gambling using real examples from my own life.

Imo instead of hiding gambling or any related to gambling activities from your kids as a parents, it would have been more better to teach them more about it , like the negative effect that's attached to it , because even when you try your best to hide it from them. They may eventually endup learning it from someone else in their surroundings, or via social media, because alot of folks love posting about Their wins in gambling, due to fact that the world is getting more digital each day kids of now and days can easily, approach such via the internet or social medias. That's why is better to teach them more about gambling especially the harmful part in gambling.  So that they will know how to handle things if they find themselves in such situation.
