I did not watch the fight but there are social media posts regarding to how his opponent's deal with his loss, something that mentioned about his there to fight but Shakur's way is to track him to get the point and just make sure to win it, I mean, my interpretation with what De los Santos wanted to implied is Shakur just secure the by win points and not the way a warrior fought.

Though there's nothing that De Los Santos can do now, if ever they will meet again he needed to adjust with the strategy Shakur used against him if he wanted to win.

The aggressive Edwin De Los Santos has handed it to him by a more composed but more waiting Shakur Stevenson for sure many will say that Shakur Stevenson was just running in this fight against the more aggressive De Los Santos even if he is more aggressive in the start of the rounds you can see that points was still with Shakur and because Edwin De Los Santos badly needed points so he is making an error and Shakur Stevenson have capitalized in that to even take the score and pressure Edwin De Los Santos even more for sure the strategy of Shakur Stevenson was not really warrior like but it is proven effective,

@bisdak, @Boafeng. On Shakur being the WBC lightweight champion, would the fans have a unification vs. Devin Haney or will we witness Shakur and Haney avoid each other? There is also Tank hehehe. They might also avoid him very much similar to how the kings of welterweight were avoiding Boots Ennis.

Shakur is in a similar position to Demetrius Andrade. Fighters can just avoid him by saying that he is boring and wants too much money. There are still other good fighters in the division like Loma, Kambosos and Zepeda. We will likely see them challenge for Haney's other belts when they become vacant. A fight against any of them would be intriguing but unless they're offered a significant sum of money it might not be their highest priority to challenge Shakur Stevenson.

I reckon as a fan, this will be very difficult to give respect to Shakur Stevenson if he avoids Devin Haney hehehe. Haney has earned everyone's respect after going to Australia, after defending the belt in the rematch and after fighting Lomachenko who is a very good boxer. Devin Haney, for a very young man, he has proven himself by showing us every victory in each of the challenges he has taken.

In any case, if Shakur wants to avoid Haney, fans might like Devin Haney vs. Tank Davis much better hehehehehe.

And speaking of Boots Ennis. He was actually offered by Crawford prior to the Spence fight. Ennis was so scared of the boogeyman that his team decided to make lame excuses and refused Crawford's offer. And their garbage excuse? According to them, Al Hymen treated them well so they wanted PBC to handle their fights, rejecting the chance to fight for a belt which would be promoted by Crawford's partners at that time. There's a video on this where Boots' dad was the one defending their lame excuse not to fight Crawford. Besides, Hymen did not really treat them well since they waited forever to enforce its mandate on Spence and it never came until the belt was taken by Crawford.

Spence activated the rematch clause on Crawford. This means Crawford will fight Spence next and not after fighting someone. Anyways, at Crawford's age, he's got no more business at 147. He should spend his limited remaining pro days fighting legacy fights like trying to get a belt at 154 to make him a 4-division champion or even become the first ever 3-division undisputed in the modern era.

Cameron Dunkin, who is Ennis's promoter, was once Crawfords manager. Crawford fired him and he has let his personal feelings get in the way of some opportunities for his fighter Ennis. Haymon has treated Cameron's fighters as second class citizens. Being so loyal to PBC has backfired because now they have no network to fight on and no leverage to negotiate with Crawford or any other top welterweight. Ennis is supposed to be the one who carries the torch when Crawford and Spence retire but the poor handling of his career is holding him back from realizing his potential.

Tyson Fury branded 'not manly' and 'embarrassing' in blistering attack on boxing star
https://www.gbnews.com/sport/boxing-news-tyson-fury-not-manly-embarrassing
Quote
“I think it’s old hat. "When he starts with the name-calling and personal insults on physical appearances I just think it’s not manly.

"It’s funny at the start … it’s probably why he struggles to get sponsorship let’s be honest.

"It’s a hard sell for a company when he’s got the mouth he’s got. The potty mouth.
-Carl Froch

Well, Tyson Fury is known for his trash talking and I doubt he will struggle to get sponsorship, not that I do like all that trash talk but he is Tyson Fury and that name itself will get his sponsorship no matter what happens.
He actually doesn't need to do what other boxers are doing on social media to receive more attention, he will get the attention and all this trash-talking is just a bonus.

Here is what he said to Usyk.
Quote
"I'm the dauntless in his waters, let's just say that. They've got to pull out the long-range guns and we'll see.

"If he beats me, which he can't, there will be nothing which stands in his way of total domination.

"[He can't beat me] because I'm 'The Gypsy King' - that's enough."

It will be a long wait for us boxing fans, I thought it was going to be our entertainment gift before Christmas but because of what happened against Ngannou, Fury will get his recovery time and it will be done in February.
Too long but there's nothing we can do and we won't like one camp using that as a reason for his defeat. It's better if they are both healthy.

IMHO, Shakur will not avoid Haney and i think he will call out his name to fight him as he has nothing to lose and everything to gain if ever he wins against Haney. That would be a fight between two technical boxers and as hard core fan of boxing, I don't mind if they box for the full 12 rounds as that might be fun to watch, but to ordinary fans who always want a KO, never mind watching this fight.

one mistake of Jaron Ennis's promoter and it is a big consequence for sure, if Cameron Dunkin still isn't moving on from what Crawford has done I really think doing such things Cameron Dunkin has led talent to despair, will impact his career and future on the sports for sure that was one flip side on boxing you can never know who's true and who is not, but that is life in general, but for sure Jaron Ennis would just need to prove that he is better and for sure this is all allegation towards Cameron Dunkin and it is because of Crawfords doing,

Well, Tyson Fury is known for his trash talking and I doubt he will struggle to get sponsorship, not that I do like all that trash talk but he is Tyson Fury and that name itself will get his sponsorship no matter what happens.

Here is what he said to Usyk.

Well, it is pretty normal for the Gypsy King to make trash talks like this but apparently, guys like this who can have a conversation like that is a potential market value, just like Conor McGregor but for sure Francis Ngannou is ready for a rebout, and funny enough Tyson Fury doesn't have any answers to that, but for sure I would like to see another fight for Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou,

Well, it needed to be moved Tyson Fury had a bad knockout and it was on the temple he needed a sure rest because of that, for sure Tyson Fury never expected something like that, and he will have a hard time against Ngannou for sure they think this is going to be just like a walk in the park but for the heavyweights the exhibition matches is different as 1 punch can still be fatal for any boxer in that division,

But as far as Ennis fighting Crawford, he will have to wait because we all know that Spence has activated the rematch clause, could be 154 lbs fighting weight. Yeah, it could be that Ennis will be carrying the torch, but there could still be a lot of fighters at 147 lbs not name Spence and Crawford. Maybe Ortiz if he can still make it at 147 lbs? Or Eimantas Stanionis the regular WBA World champion.

There are a lot of good fights to make at 147 even without Crawford and Spence. Ortiz is planning a comeback, then we have Stanionis, Boots, and Butaev. There's also Thurman who's past his prime but is probably the most marketable. I don't think Bud is returning to 147. So I am expecting all the remaining belts to become vacant soon.

As for PBC, they did treat some fighters as second-class. PBC has a lot of questionable stuff including its managerial license when clearly it's a promotion. I remember someone said PBC is like a cult. There were cases wherein fighters sacrificed to receive their highest purse just because they wanted to stay with Haymon or they were simply ducking. Peter Quillin was the first I noticed, the guy was guaranteed over a million by Jay Z's Roc Nation to face Korobov but he declined it. Then undefeated Deontay Wilder declined a hundred million dollar deal with Matchroom to fight AJ twice. Jermall Charlo rejected a $7 million offer from Matchroom to fight Andrade. And then there's Boots as the latest to refuse a title shot with Crawford with a lame excuse. So somehow it's a good thing Showtime is leaving boxing. Even better if PBC ceases operations since there are promoters out there to sign its fighters and they are way easier to negotiate especially Hearn and De La Hoya.

And it was reported that Jermell Charlo has vacated another belt or shall we shall strip because he wasn't able to defend the belt, Jermell Charlo Vacates IBF 154-Lb Title; Bakhram Murtazaliev Vs. Jack Culcay Likely For Belt

First it was his WBO belt that was stripped because he wasn't able to defend it against Tim Tszyu because obviously, he goes for Canelo for a bigger paycheck.

Now, it the IBF that stripped him of his 154 lbs belt. And then the organization will have Bakhram Murtazaliev Vs. Jack Culcay fight for the vacant belt.

Maybe we can see unification in the future Tim Tszyu vs the winner of the IBF belt.

^^ I think it's the right thing to do for those organizations, Charlo was given a leeway, he was even declared as undisputed before the WBO took that belt off from him. And then IBF followed suit. So he has the blessing to fight Canelo by those organizations and given him ample time if he wanted to defend it or not.

Tim has been relegated to full champion already, so that's good enough for him as he has been waiting for Charlo since June when he says that he was injured and then decided to go for the Alvarez fight.

I'm not familiar with the IBF fighters though, but it's good that if Bakhram Murtazaliev is the mandatory challenger, then he will have the first crack on the belt against Jack Culcay.

Tyson Fury branded 'not manly' and 'embarrassing' in blistering attack on boxing star

"It’s funny at the start … it’s probably why he struggles to get sponsorship let’s be honest.

These comments from Froch sound like bitterness. It's one thing to criticize Fury's talent or discipline, but Froch is questioning his masculinity and saying something completely non-sensical about sponsorships. Fury has had no problem making money since he signed with Top Rank and ESPN, many times more than what Froch ever made. I've seen some of Froch's YouTube videos in my feed and I always just ignore them because of how clickbaity the titles are. I don't know if Froch really believes what he says or if being a Fury hater is some kind of gimmick that gets him views and keeps him relevant.

^^ No, Broner will still have to deal with Howard. His name just pop up because Oscar Dela Hoya mentions AB that he could be the potential next fight for Ryan Garcia. But Garcia has his own fight with a very tough Duarte so we will have to see first that fight and how's Garcia under a new trainer and Broner too, if he can get pass Howard in his fight.

So nothing is concrete here, but as we have said, if Ryan wanted to become a world champion, stop chasing fighters like Duarte or Broner. There are a lot of great 140 lbs right now. If he wants then get some fighters in the top 5, as stepping stone to see if he still has that left hook power at this weight class and maybe talk later about the champion in Regis or Devin Haney.

Broner may not be the ideal match for Ryan Garcia; he's been on the decline, and Garcia needs to face top contenders to boost his ranking. Despite one loss, Garcia's career isn't done; he's likely to come back stronger. A win against Duarte would set him on the right path. The key is to keep challenging top contenders, gradually building his resume until he gets into the championship match up again.

For sure he will make a comeback, be it with GBP or other promotions after his contract with GBP expires. So maybe what they want is just to test it first at 140 lbs, get a decent fighter in Duarte, win by a knockout and then his confidence is very high against and then he can call whoever he wants to fight next.

How about Ryan Garcia vs Shakur? I think this is a good fight to watch,  boring vs non, and if Ryan would beat Shakur, he'll become the new champion, or if Shakur does not want to risk his belt, they can have a non title fight, is it possible?

Shakur is at 135 lbs at best and Ryan will be hard pressed to go back to that weight class as we have seen that he is drain when he fought Davis at 135 lbs. So it's going to be a moving backward for them and it will have a big risk on Ryan. I think 140 lbs will be the best weight class for him at this point of his career.

I like to follow your assessment, since social media is one of the best places to make money, there's always reader who will like to
read a negative statement regarding a personality that is gaining attention all over the web.

Better to keep away or just ignore since there's nothing special about what the content creator's saying just pure self-proclaimed opinions.

It's more on how he will gain views and how he can take money from those poor viewers who watch or read the contents.

Good point. He may be doing it for his own profit through views. We are all aware that streamers make money thru the videos they make and maybe he is the one making this issue bigger for his own good.
This is just the normal trash talk of the Gypsy King but he makes a ruckus out of it. I doubt many will believe whatever he says.

True. I really like Ryan Garcia to stay in his weight class now. Don't even come back downstairs because he will just get weak there. Just looking at his body figure, it is meant for the 140 lbs and I bet he will still have the speed that he wants in this weight. Cutting down weight will just risk his career and he is still young to do that. Just keep on climbing up because he has the body and the height for it. I mean, just look at how mismatched Davis was in statistics, and yet Ryan kneeled when punched in the liver.

Yes, I think his new trainer knows this, that's why it doesn't make sense for him, even though that there is a belt in the line, to go down to 135 lbs because it's just going to REKT him physically. And I think even if he hires the best nutritionist in the world, he will still not be 100% if he fights on that weight class.

It's that during the Davis fight, he isn't the A-side, and so he has to nod to everything that Davis has to say, including the rehydration clause. It's close to saying that Ryan will not win that fight because he will be like a zombie against  Davis. And Tank knows this, that's why he attack his body in that fight.

I am presently watching Benavidez vs. Andrade. I reckon if this Andrade has good stamina and he can maintain this performance, he might have a chance. However, it appears that he became careless on the last seconds of the 4th round. This might be caused by low stamina and being tired.

I am quite certain that this will end before round 7. I will be very shocked if Andrade will go to a decision heheheh.

You got it mate, the fight ended at round 6, so hopefully you're able to put a bet on it and win. Unfortunately, Andrade doesn't have the stamina and I will say that his age is catching up on him.

He uses a lot of foot and good movement, but Benavidez is like stalking him and throwing a lot of power punches that really affect his gas tank.

And again, with this kind of victory, Canelo should step up by now and fight DB. There's no way that he Canelo will cement his legacy without giving DB a fight next year or before he retires.

Yes, it was a blast, Benavidez didn't give any chance for Andrade to make the fight at least close in our eyes. Benavidez just put on the gas in this fight as if he wanted to proved something and that he is going to be a future champion.

And it's obvious that Andrade doesn't have any more gas tank or stamina and he look very unsteady when David will go and throw like 3-4 punch combinations and some of them are hitting the target. I thought though that at least 10 rounds this fight will go, but the Monster Mexican can't be denied and wanted to finished the fight early. With this win, we know who's David targeting next.
