Was doing some search for the causes of pains like the back and waist especially for we that are always on the floor and wherever we do our exercises and I saw something that some of us ignore (I'm guilty as charged though) even when we fire up with our daily exercises, is good to keep working out but we shouldn't joke with the body because if the body is weak no matter how macho you are you can't force it to do things ones it becomes weak...these are what I found out that some of us don't or should I say ignore always;
Five Common Causes of Lower Back Pain - Live Well ...
Back and waist pain is most commonly caused by muscle strains, sprains, or poor posture. Other frequent causes include bulging/herniated discs, arthritis, spinal stenosis, osteoporosis, and injuries from lifting. It can also stem from underlying medical issues like kidney infections, stones, or reproductive conditions in women.
Common Mechanical and Structural Causes:
Muscle or Ligament Strain: Often caused by lifting heavy objects improperly, sudden movements, or poor posture.
Herniated or Bulging Discs: The cushion between vertebrae presses on nerves, causing pain.
Arthritis: Osteoarthritis can affect the lower back, particularly the facet joints.
Spinal Stenosis: Narrowing of the spinal column that compresses nerves.
Degenerative Disc Disease: Age-related wear-and-tear of spinal discs.
Spondylolisthesis: A vertebra slips out of place.
Osteoporosis: Brittle bones leading to vertebral fractures.
Medical and Other Causes:
Kidney Issues: Kidney stones or infections can cause severe pain in the side and lower back.
Pregnancy: Due to hormonal changes and increased pressure on the spine.
Gynecological Conditions: Endometriosis, uterine fibroids, or ovarian cysts.
Chronic Conditions: Ankylosing spondylitis (spinal inflammation) or Fibromyalgia.
Infections or Tumors: Although rarer, spinal infections or tumors can cause back pain.
Risk Factors and Prevention:
Poor physical condition: Weak back and abdominal muscles.
Obesity: Excess weight puts strain on the lower back.
Occupational hazards: Jobs requiring heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling.
Prevention: Maintain a healthy weight, practice proper lifting, and maintain good posture.
I sure hope all of those will help each and every one of us.
