Since Push-Ups exercise is all about building the Upper Muscles of the body with physical Strength,It is also obvious that more than just physical strength will be needed to build and maintain those muscles. So in other to build our Muscles and maintain it,I recommend we should start taking Supplements to aid us.Supplements Are Muscle builders and are highly recommended by Medical experts and professional gym instructors.

* Creatine
* Branched Chain Amino Acids
* Glutamine
*Beta-Alanine

For me, I will not need any supplements to enhance my ability to build big muscles in this push-up challenge. I want to build my muscles without the help of any supplements so that they will allow me to have enough strength and be strong enough to defend myself. Those who use supplements to build big muscles don't have enough strength, and they are limited in the kind of weight they can carry because supplements help them build big muscles. And since we are not into weightlifting, I also see those supplements as not necessary for me.

I don’t know about those other supplements but to my understanding creatine just keeps your muscles hydrated. I’ve been taking it the last month probably and haven’t had any muscle soreness or cramping. I can’t say it’s made me feel like a bodybuilder, but I believe it’s probably helped alleviate the soreness from doing so much working of a muscle group daily.

Everyone may do whatever they like I don't have any interest in using supplements in my body building, there a saying that whatever has advantage there is also a disadvantage and I believed that the disadvantage of building muscles with supplements with be more than that of the advantage, is risky to an extend were most of the ingredients used in making those supplements can be very harmful to the body system or probably react differently in our body and you can also fall a victim of buying a fake products of it, I prefer building my muscles naturally than supplementing it artificially.

I don't know about those supplements but I believe there are fake ones that may cause or have a very bad side effects on the muscles or the body system. It may work better for some persons and may not work better to some persons so for me I won't advise anyone to take supplements to enable boost up the muscles, all the same any one can choose what works for them.

I decided I have recovered enough from my surgery to start a 100 exercise.

I am older so I will do 100 stair steps

I have 12 steps to first floor from kitchen in second floor.








so I am discovering just how many steps / flights of stairs I can do.

180 steps is  really 180 down and 180 up 15 flights of stairs.   7 and 1/2 minutes.

I hope to do it again today. I will push at it to see if I can do 500 steps that should be about 25 minutes of stairs up and down which is pretty good cardio.

I am interested to see if 100 k for btc comes faster than 500 steps up and down the stairs.

I can tell you 180/15 flights was a bit taxing.


second set coming up!  pushed hard 180 steps up and down in 5 minutes and 56 seconds. that is up and down 15 flights of stairs!
still out of breath I am sure I was good for 2 more flights maybe Sunday  I will push it up just a bit more

I hit a new record today for the most push-ups I’ve done in a single set, probably in my life if we’re being honest. This morning before hopping in the shower I did a set of 60 push-ups and it actually felt pretty good. Maybe if Bitcoin was at $63K I would have gone for it, but for now I continue to inch closer to my goals.
Congratulations on your new personal best. It is not an easy something to achieve 60 push up at a stretch. I have started doing my light push up after my long time layoff due to my illness, they nurse said on Thursday that can go back to my normal routine from Sunday, so this morning when I woke up I started with 15 push ups and it was fun. Before my sickness, I was doing hitting up to 50 push up at a stretch, but after few weeks on the sideline, I struggled to do 15, I know that gradually I will get back to my speed, but I'm just trying to take everything slowly. All the same it feels good to be back.

I'm here again on this energetic thread, to give my report on the pushups that I've done so far, and I'm loving the experience, I really feel stronger now. I've been adding squatting to my pushups, to also exercise my lower body, and it's been a wonderful experience for me, no pain no gain. From 21st of May, till today, I was able push-up for four days, and I try to increase the sets by 1 everyday, 43, 47, 36, 42, totaling 168, plus previous 174, sum total 342 in ten days. 100k,Kelward,10,342,2024-05- 26

Yes, is actually a nice one from you @7juju because since you are just recovering from sickness doing push ups challenge above your strength is going to worry you, because you are not yet strong as before just do as your body can carry. However just like you said that you started with 15 push ups this morning is really okay so that it will help you to develop more strength to your body and before you no it now you will start doing your normal 50 push ups again just like they use to said (practice makes perfect).

I have 12 steps to first floor from kitchen in second floor.








so I am discovering just how many steps / flights of stairs I can do.

180 steps is  really 180 down and 180 up 15 flights of stairs.   7 and 1/2 minutes.

I hope to do it again today. I will push at it to see if I can do 500 steps that should be about 25 minutes of stairs up and down which is pretty good cardio.

I am interested to see if 100 k for btc comes faster than 500 steps up and down the stairs.

I can tell you 180/15 flights was a bit taxing.

I am thinking 17 flights is close to my max for now. I think I will stay at 204/17 for may and push to 240/20
after June 1.

In theory 20 minute of this twice a day would be outstanding for a 40 year old so at 67 maybe I shoot for 15 minutes twice a day.

Starting pushups 50 a day is okay because it is not compulsory to do 100 push-ups a day especially since you are just starting. You can do the 50 push-ups in a day so that you will not get injured trying to force yourself to do more than 50 push-ups in a day. The purpose of this challenge is to gain more fitness, and no trophy will be given to the person who does the highest push-up when this challenge ends. Just do what your body will handle easily; there is no need to be in a hurry to surpass your maximum daily push-ups. With time, you will see yourself achieving another maximum daily push-up a day. I also want you to know that even if you do 10 push-ups a day, your push-up details will be entered in the push-up table because that is the required push-up number for your details to be in the push-up table so don't give up keep pushing.

Is nice you started following up with the challenge and going against your normal 30 push up will affect you a bit but after sometime you'd get used to it, when that happens I think you should increase it to 60+ push up since Bitcoin price is $69k so you can go with 60 push ups daily and adding it with your dumbbell presses till it gets to $70k till $100k, before you know your body will adjust without you feeling it.

This is my second report.

I am still doing 5 sets of 20 reps, but this time around I felt a little bit of tiredness and soreness on the muscles of my arms, so it took me 10 extra minutes to complete my 5 sets, which is understandable as I have not changed my regular exercise routine and I am doing it every day.

The plan is to slowly reduce the number of sets I need to complete all the reps to just two and eventually increase the number of push-ups I can do, I would think that it will take around a month to reach this stage, but I will evaluate how to proceed based on how I feel at the time.

Since you are feeling pain in your muscles, make sure you have enough rest after completing each set so that your bones will be very much ready for you to complete another set without finding it very difficult to do. It's normal to be tired because your body has not done this kind of exercise or is not used to it. If you are consistent with this push-up challenge, one month is enough for you to get the stamina that will help you do your push-ups in two sets.

I hit a new record today for the most push-ups I’ve done in a single set, probably in my life if we’re being honest. This morning before hopping in the shower I did a set of 60 push-ups and it actually felt pretty good. Maybe if Bitcoin was at $63K I would have gone for it, but for now I continue to inch closer to my goals.
I hope I can do it too one day. 60 pushups is a lot to do in one session. Maybe I would be proud of myself if I could do it.  I can even only reach 60 today with 3 sessions, namely 20 per session. How many days or weeks will it take to achieve this?
My fat is still accumulating so I still have difficulty doing more than 15 push-ups. Even to be able to reach 20 per session, it took me 7 days to make adjustments for me to be able to do 20 push ups in one session. Because on the first day I did 14 to 15 per session. And it can reach more than 90 at that time in a day. But then on the second day I really didn't do push ups because my body felt sore and my muscles felt very tight. And on the third day I could continue doing push-ups again. Although there may not be many. Because my muscles are still sore. So even today I can only reach more than 60 in accumulation. I decided I have recovered enough from my surgery to start a 100 exercise.

I am older so I will do 100 stair steps

I have 12 steps to first floor from kitchen in second floor.








so I am discovering just how many steps / flights of stairs I can do.

180 steps is  really 180 down and 180 up 15 flights of stairs.   7 and 1/2 minutes.

I hope to do it again today. I will push at it to see if I can do 500 steps that should be about 25 minutes of stairs up and down which is pretty good cardio.

I am interested to see if 100 k for btc comes faster than 500 steps up and down the stairs.

I can tell you 180/15 flights was a bit taxing.


second set coming up!  pushed hard 180 steps up and down in 5 minutes and 56 seconds. that is up and down 15 flights of stairs!
still out of breath I am sure I was good for 2 more flights maybe Sunday  I will push it up just a bit more

204 steps in under 7 minutes.  this is definitely cardio style work I weigh about 195 pounds. each step is like lifting that with your legs so 195 x 204 = over 40000 pounds lifted in under 7 minutes. and lowered since you walk back down.

I am thinking 17 flights is close to my max for now. I think I will stay at 204/17 for may and push to 240/20
after June 1.

In theory 20 minute of this twice a day would be outstanding for a 40 year old so at 67 maybe I shoot for 15 minutes twice a day.

pushed a bit harder 18 flights or 216 steps up and down. that is lifting 195 pounds 216 times a short lift say eight inches and controlled lower of 195 pounds 216 times same 8 inches.

over 80,000 pounds of weight moved in seven minutes and 12 seconds.

I did 216 steps and 18 flights in a few seconds less.
Less out of breath doing the 216 steps.
I will add more in a day or two.

Reporting for my second day of challenge. Did 50 push-ups in 2 sets of 25 plus 30 mins of dumbbell presses. Felt so exhausted so took some rest and some protein diet.
