Today is my third day, yesterday I did 15 push-ups in 4 sets for a total of 60 push-ups. But today I wanted to give 1 more set of push-ups after doing 15 push-ups in 4 sets and giving a total of 60 push-ups but it was not possible for me. Anyway, I did 7 push-ups in set number 5, and couldn't do any more push-ups. And my total number of push-ups today is 67. I learned different techniques of doing push-ups from this thread, from which doing push-ups became really easy. I couldn't even do 20 push-ups before taking this challenge, but now I do 67 push-ups in 1 day. This thread of doing push-ups has really made my body better than before. I will try to increase the number of push-ups every day. By doing this, one day I will definitely be able to do 100 push-ups in a day like to you all.

Well, this report marks the completion of 6 months in this challenge for me. I see myself keeping it up at least until the end of the year regardless of what happens with Bitcoin’s price, but I am hopeful it won’t be too much longer than that. Not that I don’t like doing push-ups, but I think a rest day here and there wouldn’t hurt.

Of course, there are various ways to structure your pushup sets, both quantity of pushups per set and how much time that you have between sets.

It seems that there are quite a few of us who got up to the levels of 100 pushups or more per day by spreading our pushup sets throughout the whole day.

Yes, it is optional whether any of us does our pushups in a short duration of time such as within an hour or two at some time during the day... or if we spread the pushup sets throughout the whole day, which surely could allow for both a greater quantity of total pushups or a greater quantity of total pushup sets in a day and maybe even various changes in our abilities to recover or maybe even how much pain or soreness or even overall body tiredness that we might feel between pushup sets.  There is no exact correct way to either carry out our pushup sets or to attempt to monitor the extent to which we might be making progress in regards to building our pushup sets (or other goals that we might have) or if we might merely be wanting to use our pushup sets (whether daily or not) to maintain a certain level of physical fitness, strength or general body (and/or psychological) health.

I am not claiming to enjoy pushups, and pushups can be really difficult to do every single day, yet I can see continuing to try to do pushups at least daily even after BTC prices reach $100k - yet maybe there will be periods of less intensity in regards to number of pushups per set or the number of sets of pushups that I do per day in the future..

I think that my fear is how much I will lose what I have already built, so there can be questions regarding how much to do for mere maintenance as opposed to likely what I currently consider a kind of building phase (at least for where I feel I am at currently).

Likely many of us who have been doing these pushups daily (or close to daily) realize that if we let back on our current pushup quantities, then we likely have to work back up to our previous levels of performance.

So in some sense, it seems that maintenance of ability to do pushups is continuing to do pushups.. so I am not really claiming to know what is an appropriate balance.. even in my own case, I feel that I don't really know.. except that I might need to keep doing pushups even after we reach $100k - presuming that at some point we end up reaching $100k.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

I enjoy them. I feel like doing push-ups really gets me going in the morning. I don’t drink coffee, so maybe this is necessary for me to wake up. I’m not saying people should ever quit working out, but I’ll be happy to go back to weight lifting on the bench every other day instead of daily push-ups. I think my elbows would benefit from a day off, but I’m committed to this.

I know I have not been submitting my push ups report for a while now, but that didn't stop me from being active in this push ups challenge I was able to do a total of 9000 push ups in 60 days with and average of 150 push ups a day, feel pretty good for this great achievement.

Felt pretty good this morning. Did 2 sets of 50 back to back and it felt great. I think it’s easier for me to do 50 push-ups in a set now than it was to do 20 when I started. Probably could’ve pushed it to 60 easy enough but I’m trying to get somewhat rested so I can make another run at increasing my personal best set in the near future.
It's nice knowing that you can actually go 50 pushups twice really easy, it explains you have been hardworking and consistent, however I'm still at the range of 40 for the first set while the range of 30+ at second set. I crave having to make 50 or even 100 pushups in just one set, I know consistency is the only solution, and I'll try my best to keep up with the pushups.

I cannot imagine being able to accomplish 15 or 20 sets of pushups in a day (especially, if I want to try to get 40-60 pushups per set) without trying to build and maintain myself with quite a few pushups every day on a regular basis even doing more than 200 pushups per day and maybe even quite a few times of 250 or more pushups per day... yet I feel that there is no way I could have easily gotten up to these levels of pushups without both doing a lot of pushups and going through a lot of pain along the way.. ..some of the pain is muscle and joint pain and other parts of the pain is just getting worn out in terms of energy levels, yet most of the pain does not feel like injuries, but instead like a process of trying to build up stamina and quantity of pushups, and surely part of my own personal pain is likely somewhat based on my age and my own personal health conditions... and some health conditions are particular, yet may also be partly is based on age, too.

I've known you to be committed, even with your activities in the forum as a merit source, however there is no doubt how committed you have been on the daily pushups until bitcoin gets to $100k. You sound as though you're in your 60s and I advise you also take resting very seriously, excessive pushups could lead to muscles strains or joint pains which isn't a good experience especially with some health conditions. You're exceptionally a hard worker and I crave knowing you in person because I'm always inspired by the things you do.

I'm a newbie in the forum and I'm glad I found this push up exercise challenge, first of all I'd like to comend the OP for bringing this up because I think he/she really had workaholics like me in mind before creating the thread, Lol. As I see push up as the easiest and not so time wasting exercise I do every morning before going out and in the evening when I'm back from work, it's a good feeling knowing that I get to learn about Bitcoin and also live a healthy lifestyle gaining a healthy body all in one place (bitcoinTalk) I don't really go to the gym because of my everyday routine but I take my push up exercise very serious and my muscles are increasing in a healthy way. However, It is also important to know that exercise without eating the right diet is a total waste of time.

Documenting these pushups likely makes it seem more intense than it is, since I surely consider myself to be working within my own physical and psychological limitations - yet also within things that I want to do. I feel that I am telling myself what to do rather than anyone else telling me, even though surely I was inspired by the idea of 1,000 pushups in a day..so when I thought through a potential path forward (for myself, even though initially I had considered my own likely maximum to have had been around 500-ish) in terms of potentially getting to 1,000 pushups in a day, I decided to plot out some kind of a practice that might get me somewhere close to 1,000 in a day around the time that bitcvoin reaches $100k... .so yeah, maybe when the day of bitcoin reaching $100k, I might not be ready.. even though I am feeling pretty close to being ready right now, since I have already done some test runs of levels around 500 and even one day over 500.

You are welcome to this Push-up challenge but you should know that push-up exercise is not as easy as you may see it. I may be a newbie in the forum but I'm certainly not a newbie in the world of push up hence why I said it's the easiest exercise for me, it's in my everyday routine, I agree that you would feel pain at the beginning and as time goes by the pain will be invisible and I'm at that point were the pains are no longer there. People do maximum of 5 push ups in a single reps probably because of the pain that comes with it at the beginning or because they aren't determine to do it. I'd like you to understand that when I said push ups is the easiest I wasn't talking about my early days in push ups but rather I was talking about how well my body has adapted to it.  And by the way I do a maximum of 60 push ups in a single reps.

I crave having to make 50 or even 100 pushups in just one set, I know consistency is the only solution, and I'll try my best to keep up with the pushups.

Yesterday we had rain all day here, which made the weather very cool. I couldn't go to work yesterday because of the rain, so I tried to do a lot of push ups. I needed 186 push ups to make my total push ups 12k, I did 186 push ups yesterday as the weather was cool. I am very happy because my 12k push up is complete.

Yesterday we had rain all day here, which made the weather very cool. I couldn't go to work yesterday because of the rain, so I tried to do a lot of push ups. Since the weather was cool your body was able to properly fuel you, but whenever you can't do push ups in the right weather your body will sweat instantly. But to be able to give birth even in hot weather then your body fitness will be correct, for this you need to do regular exercise/push ups. And consuming nutritious foods so that your body can push up in the right weather (hot/cold weather).

Wow!! thank you very much @DirtyKeyboard, for giving my push-ups report correctly in the report table.

Today is my 4th day, and I was able to do a total of 5 sets of push-ups today. It was a bit difficult for me, I had a hard time doing push-ups in a set of 5, but I did it. And my total push-ups today is 75, I never thought that I would be able to do 75 push-ups one day. It really helped me in many ways, my body is much healthier because of it. I really love this challenge.

Thanks for staying on top of the various ways that the script does not always capture the latest and the greatest.

Take Cityhunter34's yesterday report for example in which he had not updated for quite a while, so he had 9,000 additional pushups to add into his report (and thus the table)...

I know I have not been submitting my push ups report for a while now, but that didn't stop me from being active in this push ups challenge I was able to do a total of 9000 push ups in 60 days with and average of 150 push ups a day, feel pretty good for this great achievement.

For some reason, it seems that the DirtyKeyboard script did not pick up the report and insert the results into yesterday's pushup table.

Today is my 4th day, and I was able to do a total of 5 sets of push-ups today. It was a bit difficult for me, I had a hard time doing push-ups in a set of 5, but I did it. And my total push-ups today is 75, I never thought that I would be able to do 75 push-ups one day. It really helped me in many ways, my body is much healthier because of it. I really love this challenge.

To me, it seems that if you keep doing pushups daily, you are most likely to see a lot of improvement throughout the whole first several weeks and maybe even over the whole first month of doing the pushups, as long as you do them daily and you don't end up overdoing it or injuring yourself.  Another thing is that you might experience quite a bit of muscle soreness and perhaps even overall feelings of loss of energy as your body is adapting to your having had added this kind of pushup activity to your daily routine.

Of course, your own age, prior fitness level, nutrition and sleep may also affect how well you recover and/or are able to build up your pushups if you are able to continue to stick with doing the pushups on a daily-ish basis for something like a month or so.
