The drop of Bitcoin price in the parallel market should not make anyone to panic too much because the serious fluctuation early run in Bitcoin price it course to its nature,  so as far the years continue counting down we will surely see the changes in value of Bitcoin price in the parallel market, what we needs now as an investors is to keep holding for a better dip will surely happen one day, and it is good to see that Dirtykeyboard update the table yesterday.

What level of confidence do you have?

Even if we don't get another ATH this year, which is not out of the picture, it is possible to get an ATH next year.  I don't know how you can come to statements of such certainties about bitcoin - like you can see into the future or something?

Did someone tell you that there would be no more ATH this year or next year or did you just come up with that idea on your own?

I am not saying that you won't end up being correct, yet I doubt that the odds are even as close as you are framing them to be as if you were to know something or have some legitimate and/or valid reason(s) for your proclamations about BTC's future price - similar that you had in around August 2024 (when BTC prices were in the mid-$50ks) when you were proclaiming that the BTC price was not going to go up but instead it was going to go down.. but you did not know then, either, and you ended up being exactly wrong.  August 2024 would have had been really great times to really load up on bitcoin, since it was largely a bottom range  - not that anyone knew exactly at the time that it was a bottom range, but those who errored on the side of aggressive accumulation during that time have been well rewarded, I think.  We are likely never going below $70k again, even though all kinds of folks are expecting it to happen, as if it were a given.

If you are in your accumulation phase, which could take a whole cycle or two or longer, then yeah, you should be focused on ongoing buying of bitcoin.. especially you have ONLY been registered on the forum for less than a year and a half, so I imagine you are still in your earlier days of building your bitcoin holdings.. so it can take a while to get to a comfortable bitcoin stash size, yeah none of us can really know when the price is up or down, especially when we are in our earlier days.... not that people in their later days know, but if they have already accumulated a good sized bitcoin stash then they might slow down in their accumulation of it after reaching such higher levels of BTC accumulation.   

Another thing is that we also cannot know for sure if bitcoin prices will bounce from here or if they might continue to go down from here, so we have to work our budget so that we do not overdo it, even if there is a dip in prices, we have to make sure that we are not getting overly excited about the dip when it is possible that the price could keep dipping. It is hard to know, especially when we are in the midst of the matter and there is currently a lot of seeming negative sentiment, but some of that may well be just made up negative sentiment by bitcoin naysayers and folks who don't have any clue about what bitcoin is.. and even others who are just prematurely presuming the top is in, when it may well not be. 

I am not proclaiming to know whether the top for this cycle is in or not.  I doubt that bitcoin is stuck on a specific schedule (or pattern), merely based on its having had followed such pattern in the past.

So like every other person who might want to understand this post better, you're saying we won't experience an ATH this year or even next but something big would happen? well except you are saying that price would push back to the 100k+ region but not get past there into a new ATH if not you would be making a contradiction. Either way, the goal is to keep pushing till something good comes up because believe me, it's quite exhausting to be looking at the charts and see red without having something to do to occupy you.

Double JG I was wrong last year doesn't mean I'll be forever, if I fail today or my prediction didn't go as said it doesn't mean the next day will be like the previous day. Bitcoin price movement is very tricky which we all know that's why many persons don't know when it will start dropping or getting back to it's feet, it is normal for these things to happen in the crypto space. For me I won't like BTC to drop to $80k to start with, not to talk of $70k so I'm waiting for it to stay between $100k-$115k, just maintaining that 6 digits.

So, yeah, there is a reasonable scenario that there could end up playing out a bit of a price battle that could even range between $85k and $108k through the remaining of the calendar year, and then even the same battle might drag out several weeks or even months into the beginning of 2026 before it ends up breaking to the upside.... yet sure, the break out could be to the upside or to the downside.   

I would think that if we were to break out to the upside within such a scenario, then that means we had never left the bull market, yet if we were to break out to the downside within such a scenario, then it may well signal (or confirm) that we had transitioned into a bear market (counting from the October 6th top). .. but yeah, we don't necessarily know the various legs in advance even though each leg likely has some probabilities, but then if we get that leg to play out then the probabilities end up changing from where that leg had taken us.. so in that regard, I personally end up getting stuck at 50/50 for much of the time in terms of each leg and my own reluctance to try to even venture too far (or too much certainty) in regards to what subsequent legs might end up being until after we get through a precedent leg, first.

Maybe that means you are learning?  perhaps?  Guys do not change in their ways so quickly.  You had shown yourself to be quite a scared-dee-cat, and I am sure that such a mindset ended up prejudicing you in your own level of bitcoin accumulation and/or preparations for UP... so sure, in the end, each of us has to suffer the consequences of our own mistakes, whether we end up employing too whimpy or too aggressive approaches in our bitcoin accumulation, and hopefully we figure out ways to learn from our mistakes and make tweaks to our ways.. .. and it tends to not be so common that guys are going to greatly change all at once.. so it takes any of us some time to figure out an approach that works and sometimes even guys who have historically been whimpy in regards to bitcoin (or traded bitcoin rather than investing into it).. so sometimes guys who sell too early or are overly whimpy in their accumulation, they may well end up continuing to wait and expect down prices to attempt to make up for their earlier mistakes, and they end up continuing to make the same mistake based on some of the psychological barriers that they had created for themselves in the first place.

There are still approaches to bitcoin that are somewhat price agnostic.  I personally suggest that newbies try to minimize their concerns about prices and to merely buy bitcoin consistently, persistently, regularly, ongoingly and perhaps even aggressively.. yet at the same time, sure, each guy has to figure out what and/or how they are going to do what they are going to do, since each person is ultimately responsible for his own actions and/or inactions.. and sure, maybe there are times that persistent accumulation of bitcoin might not have had worked out very well, yet I also consider that if guys are coming to bitcoin with an investment perspective, then they likely should reasonably be able to establish a 4-10 year or longer timeline for their investment so then they should not be motivated so much about short term bTC price moves as long as they figured that there are good chances that they will be in a better position in the longer term by investing into bitcoin rather than not investing into bitcoin, and yeah, it can take guys a while before they really are able to get themselves into a bitcoin investor (rather than trader) mindset.

You cannot stop bitcoin from dropping, and if you are still fairly new to bitcoin, then why should you give very many shits if the BTC price drops rather than going up from here?  Yeah, sure some guys might lose confidence in bitcoin if it were to drop into the $70ks or even $80ks, but still.. you are still fairly new in your bitcoin journey, even if you have been registered on the forum for 3 years.. you have already admitted to your earlier whimpy approach in your bitcoin accumulation.. so you likely still have a long time to continue to accumulate bitcoin.. but yeah, sure, I cannot get into your own mindset, goals, etc etc.. even though just based on your timeline and what you had admitted about yourself, any general investor would likely have to end up making up for prior whimpiness in regards to bitcoin, and surely with your own history, you may well be psychologically damaged from bitcoin's ongoing up during your time in bitcoin.. so there is a bit of a disadvantage in regards to getting into bitcoin and the price is just going mostly straight up during that time.. since we largely went from $16k to $126k and then back to our current prices of around $94k (as I type this post) in the past 3 years.

Also, yeah, I understand how you can become irritated by my seeming to assign too much on you personally, yet again these are public threads so I am not just talking about you, yet any guys who came to bitcoin with your same timeline, would have had likely suffered from BTC's price movement in the past 3-ish years, especially if they might not have had been ready, willing and/or able to front load their investment earlier in their bitcoin investment timeline.. and surely I understand that issue too, since most people do not tend to be in a psychological and/or financial position to be able to just aggressively jump into something like bitcoin  since it sometimes can take time to really start to feel comfortable with it and to get some handle upon what bitcoin is as compared with other assets that might be available for investment to the person.

with the bitcoin price falling right now, we should seize every opportunity to accumulate. i wish i had more cash to buy, but i don't. i didn't realize any profits during the all-time high periods either. the days when it starts to rise again will come, and if you want your portfolio to be green on those days, buy as much btc as you can at the low price. in the meantime, i'm continuing my push-ups to stay in shape. today, i did another 100 push-ups.

Every drop in price of BTC is always an opportunity to buy more bitcoin, i wonder why some people still don't believe that the price will increase again it's good for those who has the money to buy to make these days as a better buying opportunity, it's a good time to grow a good bitcoin portfolio, I still have some BTC i will keep hodling it no mater how the market dip.

Well, all you said I can't deny not saying them but still I can't change all I have said, just that I can't wait for it to happen and say you were wrong and I was right and for this year to come to an end, let's see what 2026 will bring. It won't be bad if we see a similar thing like what this year produced, by showing us more than 3 ATH (if I'm not mistaken).
I only know of Bitcoin as the best so why would I be associating with shitcoins? Some persons know the best coin to invest in but they choose to see things in a different way by causing unnecessary argument about which is better than the other.
You know, we can never be too careful not to make mistakes and if you make any and you correct yourself or take corrections from someone who knows better it shows that you are ready to learn. You on the other hand knows better but don't be too sure of not making any mistake while investing.

Today, I went for a run as planned, lasting about 40 minutes. I didn't push myself too hard and continued running at a normal pace.
Even though I'd taken a long break from running because I was strengthening and stretching my legs, I felt quite comfortable physically.
There's a slight decline in my fitness, which is normal. I've really missed running and plan to run outside a few days a week from now on. After the run, I did 100 reps of push-ups, and that was the end of the workout.

It does not work like that.

Each of us needs to be making plans and taking actions that attempt to protect us in regards to either direction that the BTC price might go, and that is UP or down.

Sure, I am biased in favor of UP, yet since 2015, I have already put systems in place that protect me on the way up and on the way down.. and I am not trying to be correct about anything, even though, since my systems have always been biased in favor of up, then the whole matter has already worked out, so why would I give too many shits if my BTC holdings are 126x in profits or 63x in profits?  Sure the BIGGER number is better, but there is no need for me to be desperate and I had already set up my BTC management so that I am attempting to retain a certain amount of emotional neutrality - even with a preference for UP.. but I am not fucking around trying to figure out if the BTC price might go up, down or sideways.. but yeah, up is better. .and bitcoin has already shown that it tends to go up, even if there might be various times that it goes into pausenings of the UP, and so it is not like I have not been through a few bear markets already, and I am not even conceding that we are yet going into a bear market, even though we have so far experienced about a 26.5% correction from our $126,272 top from October 6.

What is the part that you want to be correct about?  

Waiting to buy at some lower price?  What is your target price?  You have not learned your lesson from previously when you were waiting for lower prices in the mid $55ks and that did not work out too well, and so you want to try a failed technique again, rather than getting your ego in check and getting into a practice of ongoing, consistent, persistent, regular and perhaps even aggressive bitcoin buying... otherwise you may well find yourself as always looking from the outside in rather than making sure that you ongoingly are preparing yourself for UP... so yeah.. in case you don't get it or agree, I am saying that you are likely faulty in terms of your preparation for UP and you ongoingly prepare for down that may or may not happen, which causes you to employ an ongoingly whimpy investment style into dee cornz.  That's why you ongoingly are cheering for down, even if quasi-subconsiously.

and for this year to come to an end, let's see what 2026 will bring. It won't be bad if we see a similar thing like what this year produced, by showing us more than 3 ATH (if I'm not mistaken).

Sure it is possible.. I think that I had mentioned earlier that we had something like 4 ATHs in 2025.. $109k in January and then $112k in May and then $123k in July and $126k in October.... but yeah, none of them were really very BIG.. .but they still were grinding away on further and further up... yet at this moment we are below each of those prior 2025 ATHs.. so we have to pass through them again..and yeah, find out where we are going to end up landing in the coming months...

And, yeah, it is possible that we don't go up, so we should make sure to figure out decently good ways to prepare ourselves financially and psychologically for either price direction or even flat...and the flat seems even less likely, and I would give up higher odds than down, at least until we might officially pass into a bear market, which I doubt that we have passed into a bear market, yet.

Your language is sloppy, and if you are talking about bitcoin yet you feel some need to use the term "crypto" in order to sound smarter, then that comes off as problematic, since the term "crypto" tends to come out of the mouth of folks who don't really understand bitcoin very well.

Some persons know the best coin to invest in but they choose to see things in a different way by causing unnecessary argument about which is better than the other.

They sound lost to me.  Yes.  There are lost people, and maybe the will find their way back to some kind of an unlost status... perhaps?

You know, we can never be too careful not to make mistakes and if you make any and you correct yourself or take corrections from someone who knows better it shows that you are ready to learn. You on the other hand knows better but don't be too sure of not making any mistake while investing.

You are repeating a theme of your desire to be right (correct), and sounding like you are filled with hate, competition and wanting to show your competition (me in this case) that you have some superior or at least adequate ideas.  It's probably an ego thing that you have going on with these desires.  

I make plenty of mistakes in life, in investing and a variety of places in my various activities in the world.  

You seem to want me to concede that you are correct in some kind of a way in terms of your unspecified and vague wishes for down and what seems to be your ongoing willing failure/refusal to sufficiently prepare for up?  That is on you and you have already been doing it for the past year, even though you likely started with this at the time of your forum registration which was at the bottom of a pretty egregious price correction period.  I survived that down, even from holding bitcoin from $69k down to $15,479.. and then back up to our current price... so you think that some kind of near to medium term BTC price action is going to make me wrong?.. Perhaps you are still wishing for the price to correct below $50k so you can tell me, "I told you so?"  Anything is possible, but it is not a very good mindset and/or not a very good way of preparing for your future that may well involve bitcoin to the extent that you actually own any.

You are likely ONLY hurting yourself when you are trying to compete with me and to show yourself as correct, even though I am also a bit unclear about what it is that you are wanting to prove. I understand that I might be a bit repetitive in my emphasis about preparing for UP, but what else can I say?  Sure it is possible that the price will go down rather than UP but if you are preparing for down more than you are preparing for up, then you are likely taking a wrong approach to bitcoin since historically it has been better to be biased in favor of UP, and there really seem to be no reasons to not continue to have a bias in favor of up, especially any of us who continue to have long term investment timelines of 4-10 years or longer.

I reached overaccumulation status somewhere between 2014 and 2016.. and I am not even clear myself based on some of my re-definitions of the idea.. but if you are not sure about where you are going or if have enough bitcoin, to me it seems the best way to continue to accumulate bitcoin, if you don't have enough is through ongoing buying. If you are waiting or trying to put selling in there, those are all bad practices, yet you surely are free to do what you like and tell me "I told you so," even though you likely have continued to fail/refuse to continue to buy and/or to sufficiently/adequately prepare for up.  That is on you.

Heard exercises cure insomnia so here I am trying to do something that could at least get me tired enough to sleep. Added skipping to mix cause I've really missed out on it since I began the pushups. Throw in some squats and situps and also 120 pushups and yeah, you'd get a tired individual. Here's my report:

Yes indeed, exercise actually improve sleeping quality and the nature of exercise matters so much that before bed one should not engage in rigorous exercise because intense exercise can interfere with sleep hence you can engage in mild exercise long before bed time

It's been too long, and my body is becoming too unbalanced with only straight pushups and stairs.
So for the last 1000 or so  reps I've been rotating like a rotisserie chicken  , going from 10 reverse pushups looking at the sky, then 10 pushups on my side mainly using my right arm, then 10 normal pushups, and then 10 twisted the other way using mostly my left arm, then back to the beginning of the cycle.

The other day toward the end of my 100 I tried some feet spread 1 arm pushups and was able to do a half pushup with each arm at a time so I counted it as 1 full 1 armed pushup!  

Keep up the pressure.

, let's use that same spirit we used when we all started this push up challenge to always stay positive because next month and next year is by the corner for something big to happen but not for a new ATH to happen this year like I said.

You sound too sure that we will not experience a new ATH I'm price of Bitcoin this year or in the nearest possible time and I find it difficult to believe that because because Bitcoin been what it is, is full of surprises and volatility, meaning, it can depreciate and/or appreciate at anytime. So speaking with so much certainty that we will not experience another ATH is not real and may not hold facts.

That we experienced 4 ATH in the price of bitcoin this year(2025) proves that fact that Bitcoin is just ups and downs and is nearly unpredictable. Since it's bitcoin, anything is possible, really possible. I will just keep my fingers crossed, with continuous DCA buys while I remain positive. While I keep accumulating, I also keep pushing for bodily fitness and health.

with the bitcoin price falling right now, we should seize every opportunity to accumulate. i wish i had more cash to buy, but i don't. i didn't realize any profits during the all-time high periods either. the days when it starts to rise again will come, and if you want your portfolio to be green on those days, buy as much btc as you can at the low price. in the meantime, i'm continuing my push-ups to stay in shape. today, i did another 100 push-ups.

I tried to use this time, invested in Bitcoin with my savings, not by putting pressure on myself. I was really waiting for this opportunity, I had been saving some money for a long time, I always thought that when the market was heading towards a recession, I would invest in Bitcoin with my savings, but considering the current state of Bitcoin, I can't delay any longer, I invested in Bitcoin. Maybe from now on I will save some more savings so that I can use it when the market goes down further. However, I would say that those who want to use this time should make the most of this time without putting pressure on themselves. I hope that when the market goes up, you will be much happier with your investment portfolio.
