Well, sorry but I disagree with most part of your comment, let's not be so in conclusion when ever we talk about gambling, addiction and how it affects one chances of winning and losing  his or her games, gambling is still a game of luck regardless of whether a person is addicted to it or not, an addicted gambler still have the very same chances of winning and losing, same way the gambler who is not addicted has, the only difference is that, the gambler who is addicted have the high chances of spending way more than necessary on gambling, but still, his or her chances of winning or losing is still there.

I mean if I want to be honest 64k dollars in my opinion is super big and you said he using the same 100 percent of income from weekly,biweekly and monthly that is totally wrong.
It seems like your buddy is really going through a tough time with a serious gambling addiction, and it's great that you're there to support him. But it looks like he hasn't fully realized just how big of a problem it is, which can make it hard to give him the help he needs.

Just told him to not chase the losses or tell him that earning money is very hard do gamble is okay but not this way in mu opinion, I consider this as addicted too
