Having multiple sources of income is crucial like you said, it helps you accumulate more faster and also it helps you build a bigger emergency funds. Infact it is very advisable to get multiple sources of income when you are investing in Bitcoin. Don’t let it be Barrier between you and investing in bitcoin but if you can get it then it vey okay. We have seen people who don’t even have source of income still invest in Bitcoin, so no matter the little you have if your can get your discretionary income from it, then start your Bitcoin journey.
Several source of income undoubtedly important to every investor to reach their over accumulation level as at when due, but there are thingstwe don't force especially when we have tried, you said there are people without source of income that are part of the process, mate as long as they can figure out their discretionary from anywhere, that becomes there source irrespective how small it is, I'm confident that your know that, there are persons that are well to do financially, yet they unable to discover their discretionary income, the most important thing is for us to have where our discretionary incoming is coming from, then we can look for more as time passes by. What usually make me happy when it comes to a bitcoin investment is that it don't take your time for you to invest on it, not like any other investment that you have to be physically present and also spend much of your time there before things have been done to your satisfaction, in Bitcoin investment you will be in your own room with just few minutes of your time and you are done. A lot of people usually don't get it clear when the discretionary income, they believe that you have to have multiple source before you can be able to kick start your investment, when it comes to bitcoin investment it doesn't matter where you source your discretionary income from but it must be your discretionary income so that your investment will not be in any threat in future.

When you have different sources of income, it makes investing easier, and you will be able to accomplish more than you can think because you have more money to do more things. It will not be a bad idea because there is always a principle that when you want to make more money, you will have to use more money also, and there can be a shortcut because when you have enough money, you might not even need to make use of DCA or even need emergency funds. After all, there is enough money. For those who don't have much, they will just have to do DCA and have emergency funds. Having multiple sources of income doesn’t necessarily guarantee a successful investment or a better cash flow. Sometimes we think that it’s every one who has multiple sources of income that automatically have easier paths to investments and better cash flows but the truth is that isn’t always the case.
A person can have multiple sources of income but finds it difficult to sort out their investable discretionary income either due to luxurious lifestyle or lack of financial discipline while another with one source of income can comfortably sort out theirs.
Multiple sources of income are certainly a good thing because they provide additional flexibility and reduce dependence on a single source of income. However, that flexibility is most beneficial when it is backed by financial discipline.
Having multiple sources of income is undoubtedly possible to live a secure life, but keeping expenses under control is natural for everyone because if it goes out of control, income and expenses can become equal. Having multiple sources of income is an additional benefit because even if one of your sources of income stops, you will feel it much less due to the security of your other sources. Therefore, having multiple sources of income reduces risk. Building an emergency fund with proper planning is important, keeping enough money for investment in the long term is an effective step. The most important consideration in the long term journey of Bitcoin should be a discretionary income. To live a financially secure life, it is good to have multiple sources of income that keep the cash flow flowing. You are correct that having good discretionary income is important and/or helpful, yet you do not necessarily need to have multiple sources of income in order to have good discretionary income. Another thing with good discretionary income is that back up funds can be built up in order to protect from fluctuations in discretionary income, such as when income goes down and/or expenses go up. This cash flow will keep you financially stable and will keep you regular in Bitcoin.
What about back up funds? You are right that having multiple sources of income can provide an investor with many benefits. On the one hand he will be financially secure and will be able to easily build up a backup fund to protect his Bitcoin holdings in the long term. Sometimes he will be able to buy more Bitcoin stacks during price drop.
I am not opposed to increasing discretionary funds, even though there could be problems when guys focus their energies on getting more low paying jobs rather than considering ways that they might be able to increase their skills, connections, experiences in order to be able to get paid more for fewer hours of work. Having multiple sources of income is good for staying consistent in accumulating Bitcoin for the long term and reducing investment risk, as well as helping you manage your funds wisely.
Yes... based on your repetition, I can see that you are focused on multiple sources of income as if it were the only solution. In my perspective Having multiple sources of income is crucial. It won't be a problem for people with multiple incomes to put in a little extra time to maintain or organize them. Even though he has to deal with some difficulties when cash flow is approaching, it still makes him feel good mentally. The advantage of having multiple sources of income, in my opinion, is that it lessens the strain on cash flow and improves the capacity to generate discretionary income.
The investor can use his other sources of income to invest more in Bitcoin if he can cover all of his expenses with his primary income. He can increase his financial capacity by investing in other industries in addition to Bitcoin, if he so chooses. Let's say you have a salary that is used for things like food, rent, and Bitcoin DCA. The entire financial system will be under strain if that revenue abruptly stops. However, if there is a second source of income, the total cash flow does not go to zero even if the primary source momentarily wanes.
The DCA amount might then need to be lowered, but it might not need to be stopped entirely. Additionally, I consider multiple sources of income to be an additional safety net.Due to its multiple revenue streams, I don't think Bitcoin will be profitable. However, it strengthens Bitcoin investments. The mental strain that would result from a financial issue with just one source of income won't occur if there are multiple sources of income. helps to maintain DCA by reducing reliance on a single source.
A guy who has a good single source of income does not need multiple sources, and he can protect himself by making sure that he has robust back up funds, and perhaps skills, education, connections and/or experiences so that if he were to lose his job (or his strong source of income), then he would be able to get another one. ** **In Business/negotiation circles, there is an expression that describes a person to be in a good position when he "has a good BATNA" - which largely suggests having alternatives that allow for the putting the guy into a better position in negotiations, financial, psychological and/or otherwise. Some guys participating in some of these bitcoin-related thread (especially when talking about ways to potentially improve income) might well benefit by learning about the concept of BATNA (perhaps looking it up?) and also working on ways to improve their own BATNA if and when possible.

The profit gotten from a business has so many things that will be involved and can not be seen as discretionary income. Once people are able to understand the meaning of discretionary income, that is when they will stop making the mistake of thinking that they can easily take money from their business and invest in Bitcoin. This should not be encouraged at all due to the risk of affecting the business if the income generated from the business is not well calculated or structured.
Discretionary income is what is left after you have paid for all the necessary bills covered for the business and what is left can be known has discretionary. Out of the discretionary, you will have to keep fund for saving, keep fund for emergency, and also have miscellaneous fund that you can keep somewhere.
Spending extra money is never a good decision or a good habit. Even after meeting the necessary expenses related to the business, your money is not limited to this. You have to be financially active to run your life and you are the sole earner of your family. However, it is natural that you need money to meet the basic needs of your family. It is important to always keep yourself away from unnecessary expenses. Financial clarity is necessary to sustain investments in the long run. On the other hand, it is also wise to create an emergency fund. This will sustain you in times when you need cash and you can meet it with the emergency fund, keeping your investments safe. Creating multiple sources of income is also a useful outcome. If you move yourself forward through the right decisions, you can also move forward with the money earned through the business.

So it is not just about source of income but about needs and responsibilities.

Let's not bore ourselves out giving more attention to the sources of income rather than the investment itself. It's not always about the number of sources of income, rather the quantity of discretionary income you're able to identify with after attending to your expenses. If you've discretionary income, you can always follow up your investment with consistency and build backup funds to protect it. If you manage your cashflow properly, you might as well find ways to reduce your expenses which would make available more discretionary income to follow up your investment. As long as you're not being overaggressive, you've no problem. Additionally, if you feel you'll be better off having more than one source of income to make more discretionary income available so you can increase your buying amounts, it's on you as the investor to do whatever you consider appropriate to sustain your accumulation journey and reach your target faster within your holding period. Yes my friend you’re very on point, every investor should try their best to create enough discretionary income for themselves either by being disciplined in their spendings or by having multiple sources of income. For one to have a successful bitcoin accumulation journey you must have a consistent, sufficient amount of discretionary income available. An investor should know what’s best for him and execute it accordingly.

Again, an investor who has to buy and invest in a very large amount or if he wants to, the DCA strategy can gradually implement his planned goal.

It's always great to have more than one source of income especially when it comes to financial stability and risk management. But I think the important factor is not so much how many income streams you have it's the amount of real surplus you have after subtracting out the expenses you need. When one of the income streams is cut but cash flow is still generated from the other the strain on finances is greatly reduced. In such a situation you may have to cut down on DCA but you won't have to stop investing altogether. The best thing about having a few income sources is that you'll have some money coming in even if you don't have the other ones. If all of your income sources rely upon your physical presence and/or your ability to carry out manual (or even brain) labor, it may well not do you a whole hell of a lot of good if you get hit by a bus or some other calamity falls upon you that causes you inabilities to carryout your expected duties to receive your income, which is another justification for back up funds. [edited out]
The real function of a backup fund should be to prevent situations where you suddenly have to sell Bitcoin against your will in order to get money. Cash like three months of expenses may be a good position for some, but there is no need to make a hard rule that it has to be met first for everyone. Especially when the amount of Bitcoin is still very small, spending too much time just increasing cash can unnecessarily slow down the process of building your Bitcoin position. Later, when the amount of Bitcoin and wealth is large, the cash fund can also be increased according to the situation, there is no particular reason to do the opposite from the beginning.Balance is needed and each guy needs to figure out his balance level in terms of how much he wants to emphasize bitcoin stash building and/or back up funds building. Don't neglect your back up funds merely because you are feeling urgency to build your bitcoin stash. It likely is best that both the bitcoin and the back up funds are both ongoingly growing every week, even if they might not be growing at the same rate. You don't want to get into a situation in which you had put several months into bitcoin, and that you have almost absolutely no back up funds because you presumed that your income was secure and your expenses were not going to surprisingly go up. You think that the solution to all problems can be just assumed away with an increase in discretionary income. I doubt it. DCA can be used for everyone, and good cashflow management can also work for everyone. Sure, there are some guys who likely get sloppy because they have a lot of income and they assume everything is going to take care of itself, yet it may also be quite likely that they are overly whimplily buying bitcoin because they are failing/refusing to organize themselves better and assuming that they have everything covered, when they do not... and yeah, they, also may be assuming that DCA is for poor people when it can be used in many different situations and many different income statuses. If you are being lackadaisical about the whole matter and pointing at poor people, you are also likely being way more whimpy in your bitcoin accumulation approach than you could be and you should be.

What did you mean by spending extra money is never a good decision? Since you're proclaiming that guys should not spend their extra money in whatever it is that they will like to spend it such as Bitcoin investment and also creating emergency funds and discretionary spending with it then what did you want them to use their extra money to do? Creating multiple sources of income is also a useful outcome. If you move yourself forward through the right decisions, you can also move forward with the money earned through the business.
In as much as I will agree with you on that I also want you to know that having a multiple streams of income is not compulsory, the most important thing is having a source of income because if you have a source of income you're sure of paying your expenses then whatever thing that remains can be use to carry out your investment plans.however, having a multiple streams of income is only mandatory for those whose monthly income is not big enough to pay for their expenses and still create discretionary income for them, such people can decide to look for a different source of income to enable them achieve their target, but as for those that have a particular source of income and its giving them something reasonable, such people don't necessarily need to bother about having a different source of income unless they choose to..

What gives us discretionary income is consistent work, so that results will be maximized by our regularity in generating that income. Imagine if we lack enthusiasm and are unable to perform well at work, then those in power at our workplace will not easily reward our hard work. Yet, we use the proceeds as additional income or discretionary funds with the goal of buying Bitcoin as a future asset with discretionary income. The source of our journey in accumulating Bitcoin is only by collecting the income we have from having additional work, then the results from that do not create problems in investing in Bitcoin, because we use other income for our needs while the results of additional work are only for investing by accumulating Bitcoin by buying with the results of the discretionary income we have from our place of work.

What gives us discretionary income is consistent work, so that results will be maximized by our regularity in generating that income. .
Discretionary income cannot only be generated through our job as you are proclaiming, it can be gotten as a gift, from the sale of an unused asset like car, generator or anything, but I want you to kill that notion that discretionary income can only be gotten from our income, that's not true. If you have a lot of money you don't have to invest all in Bitcoin since you will also need money to fix up other things too, you can only pick up the money you know you can afford to lose or won't be needing for a long time to accumulate Bitcoin with.
Picking out money you wouldn't be needing anytime soon or what you can afford to lose from your net income to invest with is not the best idea bro, because miscalculation may compel you to invest wrongly, so it's more better to first sorts out your basic needs first, then anything that is left, which is your discretionary income is what you should be investing with, not by investing first before sorting out your basic expenses.

There are people among us who earn relatively less but they are accumulation Bitcoin with discretionary income at the end of the week. There are many who earn more and are financially well off but cannot succeed in investing in Bitcoin or are not patient enough to accumulate Bitcoin. Despite being financially well off their social status or the number of much family members may not develop that mentality in them. A poor person may have the mental and physical preparation to reach a financially well off position and I have seen efforts take them a long way and they are able to reach a financially well off position. It is important for an investor to focus on doing DCA regularly to reach the over accumulation stage and the money should come through discretionary income. To reach a sustainable investment position, you should prioritize accumulation Bitcoin through discretionary income and regularly.

Hence I feel multiple income streams are a boon not only for investing in Bitcoin but also for financial stability. Diversified income means not relying on just one and decreases financial stress which makes it easier to maintain a long term investment strategy.
I agree that multiple income sources provides a safety but i think there is one factor people often ignore that was how much time and energy need to maintain those streams because every one has different perspective about it but what i believe is one income source with a huge stream of money is better then several income small sources that takes a lot of your time and drain your energy because overall game is about expenses if u have a good source of income you can cover your expenses and the remaining money diversify it i mean invest it in stream that does not takes your time i mean let the money work for you because the more precious thing is time not money.

Well if you say this then people who don’t have a job at hand will feel that they will never be able to invest until they get a job, which is wrong or misleading. There are several ways we all have discretionary income, it could be through gifts, gamble, winning lottery and so many other ways. So if you are a person that happens to have discretionary income through those ways you can put it into bitcoin investment. Though, your accumulation might not be consistent but it better than waiting to get a job before starting your Bitcoin journey. So having having a job or not, it doesn’t really matters. Don’t let not having a job be a Barrier between you and not investing in Bitcoin. Bitcoin investment is never meant to be delayed, invest as soon as you have an discretionary income at your disposal.

I think that I can see what you are saying @Obulis, in terms of DCA not having to be rigid, yet at the same time, if a bitcoin accumulating person is serious about accumulating bitcoin, he would likely prioritize accumulating bitcoin whenever he had enough income available to be able to buy bitcoin, yet if he has difficulties with his cashflows in terms of either his income or his expenses, then there might also be periods of time that he is not really able to accumulate bitcoin, even if he wants to accumulate bitcoin. Honestly, what low income earners or unsteady cash earners have to do to keep up with building their Bitcoin portfolio is to prioritize Bitcoin investment, so that anytime there's available discretionary funds they will carry on with their Bitcoin accumulation journey/target. Unsteady accumulation of Bitcoin can bring about laxity in accumulation whereby discretionary funds will be available and you can even forget to buy Bitcoin just as it happens ordinarily with other things or other areas of life where things are not going steadily, but making Bitcoin accumulation a priority will makes the difference. even in that unsteady state, accumulation will happen any time there's discretionary funds because it is a high priority.

I understand your point, but let us be realistic here… you can’t really depend on these things you mentioned to accumulate bitcoin long term. The problem is that they may/may not come. Even when it comes, it may not be enough to take care of your needs or have any left over. This is why I don't agree that having a job “does not really matter”. Aside buying bitcoin… won’t you take care of real life responsibilities? Bro you still need to look for a steady source of income and not relax… whether it is a job, business or something reliable. Atleast you’re sure of money coming in regularly, and you will be able to plan well with it.

I agree with you. As long as you have discretionary income from anywhere, you can use it to buy bitcoin because what we need to invest into bitcoin is discretionary income and not a job. This is because they're people who have jobs but don't have any discretionary income since, they can barely meet up with their basic needs and monthly expenses. If you don't have a job and have discretionary income, buy bitcoin because that can even motivate you to go get a job because you want to be serious with your bitcoin investment and be consistent at accumulating bitcoin. However, you can still buy first, and look for a job in order for you to have discretionary income to keep your accumulation ongoing overtime.

I hope you know that investing your discretionary income to buy Bitcoin without further explanation is not going to make sense at all especially for a newbie investor that is looking for how to invest in Bitcoin without fucking up or missing their way. The mistakes some investors are making is using all their discretionary income to invest in Bitcoin when they also need to build an emergency fund and have some savings before ever deciding to pull the money to invest in Bitcoin. We all know that discretionary income is what is left after you have cleared your essential bills like electricity, transportation to work, feeding, shelter, school fees for the children if you are a father and others I can not mention. You still need to have emergency fund as a Bitcoin investor.

A stable source of income is not required to invest, if a person is able to find a source of discretionary income then he can start investing. There are many people who have a stable source of income but they cannot manage their financial situation properly or control their expenses, so they are not able to find a source of discretionary income. Having a stable source of income is good but not mandatory to start investing, discretionary income is mandatory to invest. There are many people who do not have a stable source of income, but they find a source of discretionary income through proper financial management and continue investing. The week they cannot find a source of discretionary income, they do not invest and the next week when they find a source of discretionary income, they continue investing again.
