newbies should do their research first before investing.
Personally, I think newbies should get started rather than wasting time researching.
What I meant by newbies should do some research is that some newbies lack basic knowledge about bitcoin. If they don’t accumulate knowledge about bitcoin before investing, some might end up losing their investment because they don’t know the appropriate wallet to use in storing their bitcoin, they don’t know how to secure their private key, some don’t even know reputable places to get bitcoin from and other basic things which they should know. Some newbies just see some advertisements about bitcoin on social media, and they will pick interest in it, and we all know we are not supposed to trust or follow most of the videos we see on social media because some of them are scammers. That’s why I do recommend that newbies do research before investing.

If they invest first before doing research, before they get to understand something’s, it might already be late. Some newbies might see some Ponzi scheme that will require people to deposit bitcoin on a particular site as an investment. A newbie without knowledge might end up falling for tricks like this.

It is very important for newbies to ask questions from experienced crypto holders and learn to carry out research before buying any cryptocurrency including Bitcoin. It is very necessary so that they will not make avoidable mistakes of not knowing the importance of securing their private keys and understanding that there are many scam projects in the crypto market. Although Bitcoin is safe to buy and hodl but altcoins requires both newbies and experienced people to research any altcoins that they want to buy, to avoid investing in shitcoins. Many new projects are being launched into the market so every investors needs to research first before buying so that they will not be bag holders of dead coins.

Bro I really don't understand what you mean by doing research before investing into alt coin, so that you would not invest in shit coin, so I want to ask you a question, is alt coin even an option? When their is Bitcoin? You really needs to understand that investing your hard earned money on alt coin is like gambling just as shit coin, so stop making it looks as if alt coin is an option or even better, in my own perspective Bitcoin is the only reliable digital asset to invest in, in this crypto space, so it's better you don't even give in to the thought of investing in alt coin.

Concerning doing research, yes it's quite good, but you don't need much knowledge of Bitcoin for you to start your Bitcoin accumulating journey, you can start accumulating it through the DCA accumulating strategy once you know how to go about it, then later seek more knowledge about Bitcoin later on while still accumulating, because knowledge is very much important in life, not just in this crypto space.

Only bitcoin is worth investing in because as long as you are investing constantly with DCA weekly or monthly and hodli for a very long time, you will not run at loss or will your portfolio depreciate overtime. Altcoins are shitcoins and don't worth investing in because you will end up at big loss since majority of their dev only created them to scam people of their hard earned money through pump and dump.

Why would you go and invest in a project that you need to start making a lot of research that you will end up not getting any valid information on how to go about it. Shitcoin is a centralized coin and at anytime it can be manipulated and they don't have history. Bitcoin is king because of its decentralized nature, only invest in bitcoin with ease and rest of mind by only buying bitcoin with part of your discretionary income that will not affect your monthly expenses using DCA constantly for a very long time so that you can build a d grow your investment portfolio overtime. If you invest in shitcoins for long, you will end up in regrets because they are not for long term profits.

It is better that you invest than gambling because bitcoin investment will save you in the future and multiply your funds but shitcoins will only give you false hope and frustration. Bitcoin is unique and has proved it over the years but we have seen a lot of shitcoins that crashed and didn't survive the market so will most of them crash with time. No new investor should ever think of investing in shitcoins because it is a wrong perspective and mentality and just like what JJG do advice that if you cannot do without shitcoins let it the 20% of your overall bitcoin portfolio but not for new investors and low coiner.

By mentioning altcoins as an option in this thread for any investor it makes one thing clear that you are not following with all the knowledge that have been shared. Altcoins are a waste of time and funds risking whether for short or long term holding because it's all shitcoins or rug pull projects that are out there in the market. Researching on them doesn't make a difference. And I wouldn't advise newbies to go near any altcoins as they plan to invest into crypto . Bitcoin remains the only best and safe coin to invest in and raise a good portfolio especially if you plan on DCAing.

It seems to me that you don't understand the meaning of what you are saying. How can you be asking from expirenced crypto holders? Did you really know what experience crypto holders mean? For the benefit of doubt cryto holders from my experience mean expirenced shitcoin holders. And that is not what we are talking about here. When making preference you should consider a potential coin like bitcoin instead of contradicting the whole situation.

Altcoin is not necessary at this point in time. Bitcoin should be what we should be thinking of right now because it's the future of blockchain technology. Any other coin aside bitcoin is prone to distraction to me, I don't know of you. But if I where you I will pay much attention and stay away from those fucking shitcoin or altcoins whatsoever, because they are misleading and distraction to bitcoin. It is better you know your way around now before it's too late. Because if you doubt what am saying and you invest your fund in shitcoin, you will come back crying of lossing your precious fund to shit scam projects.

Honestly I started my bitcoin accumulation journey without having much knowledge on how bitcoin work and stuff, aslong I know the right wallet to store bitcoin is a non custodial wallet I started my accumulating journey but as time goes on I started learning new things on how bitcoin work  and how to hold and secure a smooth investment and buy the Dip and HODL thread help me alot in that aspects, what am trying to say is that one don't have to waste time going for knowledge first when it comes to bitcoin aslong he or she know the right wallet to use and how to purchase bitcoin via exchanges he or she is good to go and as time goes they may decide to focus on gaining more knowledge while they accumulate and hodl Bitcoin.

So that one won't endup regretting why he or she didn't start accumulating on time .

I totally agree with you. No knowledge is required to start investing in Bitcoin. Only wallets and exchanges can be used.

You can increase your knowledge to gain bitcoin expertise along with your investment. Knowledge about Bitcoin is important, but that does not prevent you from starting to invest in Bitcoin, you must acquire knowledge to know Bitcoin and make your investment successful. Many people end up draining their savings and often face losses when the Bitcoin price dips due to lack of knowledge. It is almost impossible for a knowledgeable person to make this mistake. By gaining knowledge you can learn about different techniques. For example, DCA approach, buying as much as possible during dips, building funds to succeed investments, holding long etc. All these knowledge will help you in investing.

I agree with you, shitcoins are not good and is not advised for someone to invest in them, shitcoins are created by people who wants to make profit by other people's investment, and I will advise we don't discuss shitcoins in this thread anyone supporting shitcoins and advising anyone to invest in them is trying to promote scam and people's downfall, I see shitcoins as a Ponzi scheme which have destroyed a lot of people by it's scam.
The reason why I'm saying all these is because I have seen a lot of people shitcoins has destroyed and put into depression and I have come to the notice through my research that people that are creating shitcoins are using it to make money for themselves and a lot of them has gotten rich through it.

There was one shitcoin created by one music star which a lot of people especially his fan invested into and the coin started growing, what the creator did was to sell all his accumulated share and made million of dollars, why those that invested on it lost there money reasoning being that when the creator with the highest number of share withdrawed all his shared at once the coin dropped in value and later lost value.
A lot of people fall victim to all this shitcoins because they believe they will make quick money and that Bitcoin is slow in it's growth, however like they say patience is a virtue, there's no need risking your money in shitcoins, Bitcoin is still growing and will keep growing because it has not reached half of it's growth level so investing in Bitcoin is the best investment in crypto because it gives you peace of mind no fear of you losing your money, all you need is patience in other to succeed and grow in Bitcoin.

This thread is only for bitcoin and not shitcoins because I don't classify shitcoins as investment since most of them are being hyped in other to decieve people that it is to invest in them and they will be rug pulled. They are all duplicate of bitcoin and are controlled by bitcoin price movement to show you how inferior they are. You don't need to bother yourself to research on them but just ignore them so that you don't get distracted.

Stay focus only on bitcoin amd how to grow and increase your bitcoin stash by investing with a certain amount every week or month without missing it, and if can do that for a very long time like 4-10 years, your mind will be at rest with what you have accumulated because bitcoin has come to stay and that is why you see institutions and ETFs investing in bitcoin even El Salvador has their reserve currency in bitcoin.

Altcoins will disappear into thin air as time passes by and one funny thing with them is that you can wake up one money and your portfolio has gone to zero. Invest wisely and start crying later when you run at loss for thinking because only bitcoin has the potential to be called an investment.

Even with the idea of learning first as you wrote it’s advisable you don’t take forever learning and end up not buying, the price of bitcoin is unpredictable so personally I view bitcoin price as a chance or probably an opportunity to buy and hold, learning about bitcoin and investing can be done at same time. Secondly if referring to altcoins I will advice you avoid altcoins and from my view all altcoins fall into the category of shitcoins and you might end up not making any profit with the pump and dumb scheme, bitcoin is totally different and safe for investing for both newbies or experienced investors.

I totally agree with you. No knowledge is required to start investing in Bitcoin. Only wallets and exchanges can be used.

An element of knowledge is required to invest in any asset an Bitcoin ain't an exception
Knowledge on security of your Bitcoin
Exchanges to be used must be known including wallets
Not all exchanges especially CEX and wallets usually closed sourced are advisable.
One of the most important knowledge to know that can help in DCA is, don't take the dollar priced value of a Bitcoin as it's true value.
If you have a BTC for $60K
Even if it rises to $100K or falls to $40K
It is still a BTC.
Just don't loss focus of why you holding and accumulating because of short gains.

Secondly if referring to altcoins I will advice you avoid altcoins and from my view all altcoins fall into the category of shitcoins and you might end up not making any profit with the pump and dumb scheme, bitcoin is totally different and safe for investing for both newbies or experienced investors.
Trading is a scam to me
I personally feel like is a fancy form of gambling especially with altcoins coins
Now people are mentioning Hold Bitcoin Hold Bitcoin here
This doesn't apply to altcoins
If you plan on holding an alt for years
There's a very high chance than the developers or hype or something might have lead to the project death
Before you realise.

Although they are in the same scope but that does not mean everything can be equalized buddy because bitcoin and altcoin are different so why learn altcoin if the goal is bitcoin because it will not connect and will actually add to your work because you have to learn bitcoin again from scratch.

Just focus on bitcoin if you are interested in being in it because after all this is not a trial and error event especially if you try it in altcoins which are actually much more risky than bitcoin. So with that you can better know your goals in bitcoin because it will be very lame if you study altcoins but invest in bitcoin, like you study math but you take exams in the arts.

For sure in this case you don't have to try an exchange wallet to store your assets. Many examples are ultimately detrimental when we are still determined to be in the exchange wallet because after all we must realize that by being in bitcoin we want to make our financial condition free without any interference from anyone and that will not be able to happen in the exchange wallet because even though only we ourselves know the access to enter but still the name of the exchange wallet will definitely be monitored and indirectly it tells us that other people (exchange developers) can find out the assets we have and can even use it for personal gain just like what happened to the SBF case some time ago.

So it is important when we want to invest, the wallet is the basis that must be realized because when we ignore the basic security, how can we protect the assets we have in the end.

Although some tokens may give good profit but they have no reliability in long term. Even being a top altcoin can turn into a scam in the long run as there are many examples in the crypto space. While there are various alternatives to altcoins in the crypto market, there is no alternative to Bitcoin. While no guarantee can be given to an investor in the short term, Bitcoin can guarantee guaranteed profits in the long term. Investors who are aware of their investments should definitely plan their plans with Bitcoin.

Newbies should be careful especially with new coins. I think everyone new or old should avoid this Altcoin gamble. Because, even though the new Altcoins are often highly profitable, they are very risky to invest in both long-term and short-term. Sometimes Altcoin investing will burn you out. From this point of view, Bitcoin can be said to be very trustworthy. Bitcoin is the leading crypto asset. It has been rewarding people's trust for many years. It is very easy to profit from long-term investment from Bitcoin. If one is tempted to invest in other cryptos outside of Bitcoin, one should do so at one's own risk, no one in this sector will give you positive advice.

Knowledge is important in every business and like you said, Bitcoin investment also require some sort of knowledge called basic knowledge. Basic because they are the necessary requirements that ensure the investor knows what he is doing and is able to protect his investment against theft and other negative vices. However, where I tend to differ with people is when they stress knowledge to the point that they make successful investment in Bitcoin tied to getting expert knowledge of Bitcoin and without those complex technical and fundamental knowledge, someone cannot invest in Bitcoin. I have seen new investors who are discouraged by the fact that they could not predict the price of Bitcoin using the chart and I was like, what do you need such skills for if your target is to invest for long term? Perhaps they are coming from the background where they emphasize technical analysis so much that they feel without it, entry will be a problem.

Secondly if referring to altcoins I will advice you avoid altcoins and from my view all altcoins fall into the category of shitcoins and you might end up not making any profit with the pump and dumb scheme, bitcoin is totally different and safe for investing for both newbies or experienced investors.

I'm not even talking about holding altcoins, I'm talking about not investing in it because the risk is just too high. More people lose money in altcoins be it long term investors or short term traders because within few minutes some of those coins can dump and investment will turn to nothing. What then is the point of taking such risk when there are better alternatives. On the contrary, no long term investor lose money in Bitcoin, only short term traders. Therefore, instead of taking this risk with altcoins, I recommend investing in Bitcoin only and avoid the pains that comes with altcoins.

Personally, I think newbies should get started rather than wasting time researching.

I don't know why some people still see altcoin as a must investment, although individuals with their decisions but if am to advise, as far as Bitcoin is still in existence, going for altcoin investment is not a good idea, altcoins are not reliable, there are many projects littered everywhere and the developer's looking for whom to defraud.
I somuch agree with you that investing in altcoin seems to be like gambling because your money can vanish without trace, sometimes I feel that greed and the mindset of making quick money is the main reason why people chose to invest in altcoin and this idea has caused discouragement among investors based on their experience and also make  some people to start their investment plans afresh because of loss of funds, I wish people will just concentrate on Bitcoin to continue building their portfolio.
In the knowledge aspect, what every investor need is the basic knowledge of Bitcoin investment to enable the investor  know the things to do in terms the best wallet for holding, other concepts of the investment can be learned in the system.

you know most people believe that through this space they can easily get rich quick, which normally triggered their greed which eventually affect the way they think , that is most people still continue to risk their money in various shitcoins. when i was new to this space i also have such crazy mindset thinking that i can easily get rich quick through this space. and that mindset did not do me any good instead i endup losing countless time because at them i was literally focusing on random shitcoins, and it left a scar.

but now i have learned alot of things in this space and one of those lesson is that this is not aplace on can get rich quick, one need to his time to understand how things work, like for instance investing in bitcoin is one of the life changing thing have done in this space, and anytime i look how far have gone it always  put a big smile on my face, though i still have long way to go in my accumulation. but i believe as time goes on with consistency i will surely hit my accumulation goal (my fuck off status).

Much better for them to erase any thoughts of investing on new coins since they are just wasting their time, effort and money there.

Would be more ideal for those people is to spend time learning about bitcoin investment like hodling since more realistic gains provably would came up to them. Spend their time on discussions which could able to help them to learn about other useful matters also they could able to learn about strategies which they could able to use to make their accumulation became more better. newbies should do their research first before investing.

I think you are wrong. You can't say no knowledge is required to Start investing in bitcoin. Saying no knowledge required means you don't totally need to lean anything about bitcoin to start investing and that is not totally true. Even if you are using wallet and exchange which you made references to, you will still need to learn how to send and receive bitcoin from it. Meaning you need basic skill about bitcoin to start using it and not saying we don't need no knowledge to invest. It may not only be in bitcoin investment but whatsoever you do in life to succeed you need a basic skill. Your level of understanding on that skill determines how far you can go in what you do.

When you really want to focus on bitcoin why should you bother learning altcoins as a first step because in the end it will be different in terms of goals. Although they are in the same scope but that does not mean everything can be equalized buddy because bitcoin and altcoin are different so why learn altcoin if the goal is bitcoin because it will not connect and will actually add to your work because you have to learn bitcoin again from scratch.
If a person is attracted to altcoins when they want to learn about Bitcoin, I would say they are going in the wrong direction from the start. If you want to focus on Bitcoin, what other coins are there? I don't think there is anything to learn from altcoins. We can consider altcoins as gambling tokens.

Actually earning for long term is  not easy knowing market  conditions could give stress to some investors. But if they are consistent following good discussions and try to execute well their strategy learned then provably that they can generate good profits for their hodling decisions with bitcoin.
why learn complicated things if there are already simple things to learn about the investment you are going to run, it is better to choose a low risk instead of choosing a high risk which will make the investment you are running not run well and the risk of loss is much greater. tall. As a beginner, you should choose crypto that has really been proven over the years, Bitcoin is the best choice for long-term investment, Bitcoin has been proven to provide profits, although both have risks, the resulting risk level tends to be lower than other cryptocurrencies. what else is new crypto.

Learning to invest in Bitcoin for beginners is fairly easy, just apply the DCA strategy weekly or monthly to carry out your targeted Bitcoin accumulation for the long term. Don't be influenced by market prices, focus and be consistent on your goals, and most importantly we must be patient in carrying out our investments. because the target is long term for maximum profit targets.
