If I'm not mistaken, Mike has a pod cast, not sure if it still continuing by this day or he stop it temporarily. And so with that, after this fight he can go back to it, and who knows, maybe appear in some hollywood movie as well.

Take note though that Jake Paul's MVP is involved here, so obviously he will also be risking some money here, and so he has to maximize his fights to the fullest. The real winner here is Mike Perry, he will earn some money although he had just a couple of weeks to train.

Yeah, it has been discussed several pages back that Jake Paul's opponent will be Mike Perry. But I think this is just a way for Jake to be busy or active instead of waiting for Mike Tyson to full heal himself and be back on this fight.

So I think it's ok to keep this thread open, as when Jake Paul win, then a Mike Tyson fight will be on the horizon in November. And as what Jake said, we will see in this fight what he can bring in the potential Mike Tyson showdown. So let's see if Jake is sharp as what he claim to be, or to much weight will affect his performance as he is a CW but trying to gain some mass to get as close to HW.

I don't think he took this fight to keep himself busy, on the contrary, it was an opportunity to make even more money and he simply jumped at the chance. Whether Mike does well or not, he has already made a good amount of money.

Take note though that Jake Paul's MVP is involved here, so obviously he will also be risking some money here, and so he has to maximize his fights to the fullest. The real winner here is Mike Perry, he will earn some money although he had just a couple of weeks to train.

So most likely Jake just decided not to wait anymore and since they have the date July 20 reserved, he will have to fulfill it but I read that the venue has been moved to a different location. So it's a win-win for him, try to be busy and then wanted to show his fans and not disappoint them.

Jake is maximizing this weird era of boxing where there isn't too many headliners so these gimmick fights can be very financially fortunate for him.  I don't remember another time in boxing that we seen this so the dude is just maximizing that.  Why wouldn't he find another fight in the meantime.  As long as people will pay he will keep doing this and the promoters will keep paying these guys tons of money to do it.

I don't think Mike Perry has a chance against Jake; bare-knuckle is very different from boxing; in bare-knuckle, there is no glove, so the fighter's strategy is to hit his opponent first because without gloves, he can easily bloody his opponent, I've seen bare-knuckle fighters. They go at each other to get the first hit; against a boxer like Jake, he will have trouble if he throws wild punches; Jake Paul is known as a good counterpuncher.

Yes, yes, I agree with you, there is nothing wrong with that. But it turns out that this whole fight is gaining several sides and a whole twist, I believe that this ends up attracting more people but in my head it only makes things worse.

I just saw on Google that the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul, fight has been rescheduled for Friday November, 15th. This is because Mike Tyson, developed an alcer flare and was forced to pause training by doctor's order. Mike, is however saying that on the new date that Jake Paul, is getting knocked out. Not to burst the bubble mate, but your kinda late with that information, as again, it has been discussed several pages back and now we are talking about Mike's replacement because Jake Paul can't wait for that long date. So he needs to be active and show that he is really preparing for Mike Tyson for getting and replacement fighter in  Mike Perry, a bare knuckle champion.

I guess that the extended date will give Mike Tyson, more time to prepare for his epic battle and I know that a lot of boxing fans are looking forward to seeing iron Mike, to once again do what he knows how to do best in the ring. Although we'll have to wait and see whether he knocks out a younger Jake Paul.

Exhibition fights are really just that for the sake of fun and entertainment and since its not that official then this is why match results and having those kind of some upset isnt really that shocking anymore.

It's not an exhibition fight. It's an officially sanctioned pro fight (or at least was until it was postponed).

It turns out that this industry had become that a business now on which trying out to make some arrangement match up in between boxers or even with cross-sport.

Why are you making out like boxing has just recently become a business. It's always been like that. Boxers don't fight for free. They're prize-fighters and the recent influx of influencers taking it up is no different, they just go for the biggest money and headline grabbing fights as do all the other boxers.

Perry has an 0-1 record in boxing. I don’t believe his success in BKFC will translate all that well in gloved boxing. His wins in BKFC were against old MMA guys. He doesn’t really have an adequate level of experience to succeed against even a low level boxer like Jake Paul. The size difference will also be a factor against him. If Perry has a good chin, then Paul might struggle his way to a decision win but I don’t see an outcome where Perry is a winner.
