All eyes are now on the match that is scheduled on the 18th between RCB and CSK. Meanwhile, the weather man says that rain is predicted to happen on that day. If the match gets abandoned then RCB will not qualify for sure. If the match happens then CSK will get a good fight from RCB. @elevates and @libert19

Looks like BCCI is not interested in getting back Rahul Dravid as the chief coach. They are now considering Steven Fleming to for that position. Again they are now planning to hire an international coach whereas there are plenty of legendary cricketers of India who can take that responsibility. I don't understand the fixation of boards in getting international caoch in the subcontinent. Why can't they ask those players who have made name for their country.

As of now it is just speculations around who will become the chief of Indian side. If he gets the job then he will get a few CSK guys for sure. Gautam's PR has now got active and they are promoting him like anything I have ever seen. I think we do need some one who is not controversial.

I have read some articles that say that Mr turbanator is also looking for a opportunity. I am not sure how much correct that information is or it is just a rumor. I will be happy if someone like Sehwag applies and gets the position, he will be another Rohit as a coach due to his abilities to use adjectives right left and center.

Gambhir is not a bad choice as he's a no-nonsense guy but I guess he won't mix well with the setup (In test format) because of Rohit and Kohli as all of them especially Kohli and Gambhir have big prick energy and naturally look for domination. He'd be good in BCCI management though.

Lol Once upon a time, the Indian cricket team had an awful experience with an Aussie Coach. He was a bad influence and his presence created many camps in the Indian dressing room.

I hope Punter's appointment (if it happens) does not repeat the same old mistakes. Most likely biggest victim would be test cricket, which is our strength.

If it does then there will be a big uproar from the RCB fan club as getting into the playoffs is a big achievement for their team.

The average you quoted is his overall batting performance in IPL and not particularly in this season. He got only one ton like others namely Rohit, Jaiswal and I am forgetting another name. His batting timing and shot selection has suddenly gone bad to worse. Not sure that the limelight made it more bad or he is out of his best form. For Jaiswal I am certain that the attention from media and his sudden financial gain migs is an issue.

I doubt Hardik will be having good days if he keeps performing in the same manner in the upcoming T20WC. Already he is getting more hate after becoming the captain of MI from the fans and from the critics of cricket. The upcoming ICC event might be his last chance to shine or he needs to again find a Godfather who can help him in his career.

His IPL career average is 37-ish with SR of 135-ish and this season he's averaging 38-ish with SR of 147-ish so I am positive.

Yes, Hardik had a bad run but I still think he's a clutch player and an asset for the Indian white ball team. If we had his replacement then sure, your argument stands true but as of now, we have virtually no experienced seam bowling all-rounder in the white ball.
