I tried submitting yesterday and then once again today but as you (and some others for sure) I have a serious problem deciding on anything other than one or two questions.
So in the end I'll just wait until I can't procrastinate anymore and submit those damn answers.

It doesn't feel right if I am not scrambling to fill the form in last few hours before the deadline. I always make a plan and then wife usually throws spanner in the works. Wouldn't be interesting otherwise

If I don't get eliminated in this round, I will probably climb up big time. I see that few of you are using the same tactic as me with hoing for two point answers. But being 8 points behind the first place, there's no other option. I hope we see few surprises in the quarter finals. I especially hope that England loses so that we can all make fun out of them once again

I hope they do not, Switzerland getting into the Semi finals will set me back 2 points and give some players 3. I have never been a fan of England, but I hope they find a way to win, even if it is an ugly victory.

As for today games, I'm not sure how I answered for the Spain vs Germany. I expect much more from that game then from the Portugal vs France game. I mean, France scored one penalty and got two or three auto goals. I expect a boring game with few goals in that game.

There are still a couple of stages where they can be dropped from the tournament, the jokes will not go stale 

...I expect much more from that game then from the Portugal vs France game. I mean, France scored one penalty and got two or three auto goals. I expect a boring game with few goals in that game.

My main goal is to stay in the competition until the final to win another freebet that I'll lose as soon as I get it I know that I still have the chance to catch up with the leaders, but I'm not sure that will happen. I know that Rikafip will say that I'm being pessimistic once again, but that's just the way I feel because there is a lot of people much more involved in researching the questions than myself.

Yeah staying in until the end should be seen as some type of achievement. The competition with you guys is tough, really high standard, much higher than with my real life friends in the little pools and leagues we do.

It’s such a different type of pool in the sense that one bad round and you are out, regardless of previous round performances. I think we will see very few buy ins now unless the people getting knocked out are within 8 points of the leader.

I mean, its not some obscure sport that barely anyone knows anything about it, but sport that you, me and probably majority of people here have been watching their whole life. And if you actually watched games, you are good to go. At least that has been my approach.

I've always thought Mafias are of Italy origin, but those two are the exception to that rule.... Looking at the table, I won't be surprise if neither of the leaders should win because the number of 2 points questions and all, it takes just one perfect round to cause an upset with this kind of format.

We have alignment in the Germans losing today too, hopefully it wouldn't be too much to ask of Spain.

Maybe, but since they mentioned in the rules how many points each round gonna bring I doubt they will change that in the middle of the competition.

No, I didn't mean that it's hard to research football. Of course that all of us watch majority of the games in the Euro. I'm talking about tracking news about injuries ans that stuff. I don't have time for that so I'm going with my gut. I don't remember reading any news article about the Euro. I just watch the games and then decide about the answers.

Who else got Spain? I mean, so far in this competition only young Spanish bloods are proving that European football is not yet digressed into all out defending with boring sideways backwards passing. Sometimes honestly, I miss old days of football. Less 'talented' play, but more directness.

At least that's family. Usually I am getting either phone calls last minute from colleague or from supervisor.

Last year I asked them how many times people replaced me at shift in past few years (answer is never, zero).

And this year not over and already I replaced over 120 hours of shift. I don't mind working, shift replacement is double pay, but we can't use a lot of sites while inside the office, only during break on whitelisted sites.

But anyway, like you said life is more interesting with all these challenges:P
