Good afternoon ! I'm from Ukraine. To be honest, I have not met people who would bet such huge (for our country) sums of money on matches of the lower leagues of Finland. Not everyone can bet $1,000 on the European Championship final. Either this guy is a millionaire and doesn't care about money, or this is a dirty deal. I often saw a message offering to buy accounts. In our country, match-fixing scandals also often occur. This is especially true for youth teams. This is how the U19 team from the youth championship was punished 2 years ago. Their players played fixed matches. And there are many more similar stories. I'm just too lazy to look for them

Your points make a lot of sense, but this doesn't 100% prove that the gambler in question cheated though which is why there was always a chance that they robbed him off his big winnings.

Also, if they have issues with such low level leagues, they never should have offered them in the first place. They are the only proper crypto betting exchange currently which is why it's sad to see them behave in this manner.

This kind of racism is not the case on this topic because we all knew that they are just avoiding to pay the user because of the unique betting style involved on a questionable match.

This thread was already concluded since both party involved doesn’t communicate already on this thread. This should be locked already or else this will be used for discussion of general match fixing accusation.

It seems just today Finnish local news started to talk about this. It took time probably because corruption is rather unusual in Finland because ton of regulatory oversight and government monolopy on gambling, so accusations like this have to be backed up before leaping to accusations. But if i understood correctly, these matches weren't part of the official veikkaus list, so they flew under the radar anyway.

A football club in the fourth tier of Finnish football has become a tool of organised criminals involved in sports betting, according to Turun Sanomat.

TS interviewed Francesco Baranca, a sports integrity expert, who follows live betting markets during sports events to try and identify manipulation.

He says that one club's performances this season can only be explained by criminal involvement.

"The numbers are so absurd that there's no doubt about the manipulation," said Baranca. "The games are one hundred percent manipulated, you can't explain them any other way."

Interesting! This takes this entire crazy case into a completely different direction. So much evidence clearly puts Fairlay in the right and the gambler in the wrong, but they could have definitely handled this entire situation in a better manner.

They have earned back my trust for sure, but they really need to communicate better in order to earn back the trust of other forum members.

What did Fairlay do wrong? Fairlay asked for one arbiter in every one of their posts. No one wanted to do it. Fairlay didn’t want a 3 person panel or for the case to be handled in public. Fairlay wanted to share evidence with one person in private. They found an outside arbiter to handle the case and stopped posting.

The misunderstanding is that people kept posting for over a month after Fairaly left thinking that Fairlay was coming back in the thread. Fairlay even posted they weren’t coming back.

I think the matchfixers targeted Fairlay because of the high limits/no license.
