Juventus, Atalanta and Milan are out.
This mean a big change for the next year.

We are now almost sure that Italy will lose the 5th spot in the Champsions League and only 4 will be able to qualify for the next year.

I don't think they can lose the 4th spot for weird combination yet.

The 5th spot is out of reach. They're currently at 3rd position with (17.812) points while England and Spain occupy 1st and 2nd position respectively with (20.892) and (18.535) points. With Juventus, Atalanta and AC Milan all out, that leaves Italy with 3 clubs (Inter Milan, Lazio and AS Roma). Inter and Lazio have already made it to the last 16, and they've to hope on AS Roma to join too and they all go to the finals. Any quick exist from the uefa tournament will make it more difficult for Italy.

The play-off was very interesting but it ended with lots of suprises, I didn't expect the likes of Juventus and Atalanta to be disqualified, Atalanta were very impressive last season and it helped them to win the Europa League and qualify for this season's Champions League so I expected them to come with same energy this season however they've failed to make it the next round though the play-offs and have been kicked out by Club Brugge with a 5-2 aggregate, they need to do better next season if they qualify for the Champions league. As for Juventus, I'm yet to understand what played out cause they were leading by 2-1 in the first round then ended up being beaten 3-1 by PSV in the 2nd round is it that they underrated the Netherlands club or what, anyways they'll learn from this mistake and do better next season if they qualify, I didn't even have much hope on AC Milan cause they're not very serious this season and am not very suprised they got kicked out. Among those Italian clubs that's qualified for the next round Inter Milan has more tendency to go further.

PSV slightly dominated in the first leg, the second leg they play in their home, that's why they're stronger.

Yeah I think PSV is underrated because if we check their stats in Eredivisie, they scored 71 goals from 23 match, compared to other teams only scored around 20-50 goals. That means PSV is really great in strength.

To be honest, I thought before that Manchester City had a great chance to turn things around in the second leg with an aggregate of 2-3, because actually Manchester City only needed to win with score 1-0  in that match to make their hopes even greater with the extra time that will occur, but in fact the dominance and aggression shown by Madrid in that match has thrown them out of the UCL journey faster this season.

Infact, the last time feyenoord qualified for the round of 16 was in the 1974/75 season so this is like a dream come true for them.

AC Milan's boys played well in yesterday's match. Although they failed to win. But we did not see a good performance from Milan in the first leg match. The performance of Milan's players was weak. And Milan lost the match 1-0. And it was very difficult to win against Feyenoord in the second match.

Even so, Milan managed to take the lead by scoring in the first minute of the match. We saw Milan's players attacking throughout the first half. And Feyenoord's only job was to repel Milan's attacks. After beating Sporting 3:0 in an away game in the first leg of the tie, I wasn't expecting Borussia Dortmund to come back to Signa Iduna Park to play a defensive game. I didn't watch the reverse fixture yesterday but was very surprised to see that the game ended in a goalless draw. Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy even missed a penalty in a game make expected the German club to easily win.
Despite the result, yesterday's game, Borussia Dortmund have successfully progressed to the round of 16 and that I think was the main objective before the players stepped into the pitch but they must improve from the performance of yesterday if they truly want to replicate their feat of last season where the reached the final of the competition.

I am not surprised that City didn't qualify from the group stage this season because of their poor performance and lot of injuries that feasted on the players this season. Imagine Haaland was not in a strong match as that of yesterday. Shit happens, let City reinforce for next season UCL so that they can go far.
