Girona who lost against Madrid in the weekend with a very poor performance don't really have much resting period and if they some how get a point against Liverpool then they have tried their best but I can't say they will even show something positive after that disappointing performance against Madrid.
If Liverpool don't dominate this game from the start to the end then I don't think they have gotten over that surprise they got against Newcastle. The Reds are seen as the favorite even with the odd from the bookies and Liverpool have been up to the task both in the champions league and the EPL than their opponent who are not impressive in both the UCL and the La Liga. Agreed, and i don't see a good reason to play with the main squad against Girona. Liverpool to has to rest a lot of its key players, but after i was hearing Slot's press, he may still perform with like 75% of his main squad. That's fine as long as he rests his key players like Salah and Diaz. Girona is a weak team to play with, and no need to feel worry against them with secondary squad.

Also, Liverpool has secured a place in the R16. I don't even see urgency for them to use their main squad. I don’t see the point not to give minutes to Elliott, Endo, and Chiesa. if they’re up, let them to take a part in this game.

I think Ancelotti should take a risk by not playing Mbappe first, in a match as important as this a small mistake can be fatal, therefore I am a little doubtful that the attacking line is entrusted to Mbappe for now, I prefer Endrick and Arda, Mbappe wasted too many chances in the previous match, indeed he has not adapted well but as I said this match is important. I hope Ancelotti does not make a mistake in implementing his tactics.

The game of Atlanta against Real Madrid will be very tough because Atlanta is in good shape this season in both the Champion League and Interlian League, Real Madrid, on the other hand, has not been playing well in the Champion League and La Liga League this season and Real Madrid will take this match very important to have a point in other to be able to Qualify for Champion League next stage if Real Madrid loses this game against Atlanta it will be very difficult for them to qualify for champion league next round.

Liverpool is currently in pole position for the Champions League and Premier League with this surely they can rest their few top players and also try to bring their bench players which will be good for them as they will be taken experience and confidence but still I have strong feeling they will go all the way and never drop points because this will give them good motivation for the rest of this season where they are taking good advantage of their quality and consistency.

Why are most people admonishing kylian Mbappé, he is the only one that has the magic touch on the front line, seconded by Jude Bellingham, Endrick and Arda don't have that much of experience compared to Mbappé and Bellingham, maybe they can come in towards the middle of the second half to test there own strength. However Atalanta are very solid at the moment, and Madrid doesn't need to handle the game with kid gloves despite the fact kylian Mbappé hasn't been at his best lately. We wouldn't even be going this far in search of better front liners if Vinicius junior was available.

These are the games I actually look forward to, though I will be able to watch just the Atalanta VS Real Madrid game, because I guess both sides have some unfinished business from the last time they met in the UEFA super cup. In their last encounter, Real Madrid won the game 2goals to nil if I remembered correctly, but with the current form of Atalanta this season, and considering the fact that they will be playing at home, this is definitely a game I'm not going to miss. I think Real Madrid injury problem will become visible in this game, especially in their defense, considering the fact that Atalanta has good wingers like Lookman and others.

As for the Leverkusen/Milan game, it's going to be another exciting game to watch out for, but I still think that the Atalanta game is the best. Leverkusen might just be winning this one though. And another interesting game is Sporting/PSG. With sporting's last ugly defeat in the UCL, I wonder they are going to do to PSG tonight.

It is almost certain that Liverpool will qualify for the next stage of the Champions League. For example, the player who was able to become the top scorer last season in Laliga which they had last season has now joined AS Roma. he is Dovbyk. And currently Girona is no longer consistent. So I doubt Girona will make Liverpool difficult. So I would probably without a doubt favorite Liverpool in this match.

If Vinicius Jr is returning from his injury then this makes big difference for Real Madrid.    Because they are having a difficult season and he is their most effective player in the attacking area now.

Plus, they will need their strongest version as for scoring in this game. Atalanta would play fearlessly and they could easily score against this Real Madrid in the Champions League.
