This new format of European Competitions will surely bring heat into internal competitions of countries because in my opinion , it's way to much for a team to play from 3 to 3 days without any real time to recover between games. I'm afraid this new format won't have a long run and in a couple of years it will be changed again , especially with some players already being vocal about having no time to rest or recover or even be fully prepared for a training session...

Even if the top 8 clubs want a competition to get more revenue, I don't think FIFA or UEFA has the right interest to plan the schedule properly.
