I honestly doubt that someone is doing this to harm the casino's reputation as there are far more effective ways to do that (but we should not ignore the possibility that this could be the case, indeed).
Personally, I’m more inclined to believe that those are part of the team or paid shills and it would be really interesting if someone could prove it.

This comes from the welcome email you get when you signed up on their platform. As you can see, they do offer the lossback promo, but only to those who reached out to their support staff after an unlucky gameplay session. I'm guessing that during the review of your gameplay session, they'll check if you really had bad gameplay results and how much you lost, but I have no idea what percentage of lossback they'll give, though. No mention of that in the email or in my chat with their support staff.

I would like to mention that this user was involved in abusing the sportsbook through arbitrage betting and multi-accounting.
Despite being warned on a couple of his accounts about multi-accounting, the user created 100+ accounts to continuously abuse the platform and sportsbook, and was creating multiple accounts every day. We are a no KYC and VPN friendly casino, and the user attempted to take advantage of this. It is necessary for us to take additional measures to prevent abuse of the platform and sportsbook.

Because of selfish interest some users choose to abuse the flexibility of casinos, and they think they are smart,  I consider it a bad act and does deserve banning, if it will be possible to get the user's IP address, I will advise that it should be banned from accessing the casinos website.
