http://nlg.dutchpool.org is closing the Guldencoin pool after today. Although we support NLG coin all the way and always have, nobody is using the pool so we want to free up the resources on our server.

Thank you Spekske for your continued support of Guldencoin, I know ASICs have been a real game changer for scrypt pools making it a bit tougher.
With the above being said the community is growing and if you can implement other services that can be used to further enhance Guldencoin it will just keep making the currency that much better.
For any ideas you might have the official forums will be the best place to discuss them.

I will be updating the timeline later with the following updates for October so far.

1. Reddeer Studio accepting Guldencoin.
2. http://www.koopgulden.nl/ --> Additional place to purchase Guldencoin directly if you don't want to go through exchanges directly yourself.
3. Club 1680 started --> Those heavily invested in Guldencoin discussing ways to make Guldencoin exceptional. This won't affect the discussions on the main forums.

October has been slow to start off with but I can promise some amazing projects will be coming on stream in the not too distant future.

Say you have just over 1 million coins, what happens if I buy something from a merchant and drop under 1 million... do you get a certain amount of time to buy back more coins to remain in the club?

We've had the same question in the dutch part of the forum and here's what LTEX answer was:

The goal of this club is to bring and keep together the serious stakeholders. In the event that someone one's coins drop below a million then that does not matter that much as long as the account is active and contributes. It's the intention the check on a monthly basis but he's leaning towards a form of more social control

Well that's translated quickly and in a nutshell.

So I guess allthough it's important being active and contributing maybe equally or even more important. It's also possible for people who do not own a million to become a member. Active members will be able to vote on if the person seems to be a real asset. Do not pin me down on any of this, ask LTEX if you need to be sure of things.

Have you thought about opening your own payment processor for merchants? You would have a good start with all the merchants that accept Guldencoin already and it wouldn't benefit the other shitcoins like EFL they have listed on litepaid.com ? I think the community would even raise funds for this so the hard work being put in by the team and community to get merchants wouldn't benefit other coins?

i tried several times to get it cheap from china but those orders didn't succeed due to battery restrictions..

I know its a pain in the ass if we cant get it in by plane we will get it by container.
