Congratulations to Real Madrid, I am glad they were able scale through this, because at a time they were looking like they were not going scale through this point so this win will now bring back the confidence of people and fans on them that it is possible they will be able to attempt the champions league title this season, I do not believe PSG will be to really defend the title as expected this season.

Benfica could have saved their best performance for the last. After they did beat Real Madrid from their earlier encounter to a humbling scoreline, they showed Real Madrid what they could do and it became personal from there. Real Madrid knew they can’t afford not to take chances with Benfica and while they might not score a lot of goals, they made the most of their opportunities to advance.

One team that saw themselves out by some means is Dortmund, they allowed Atalanta to kick them out rather easily.

Now Galatasaray needs a biiiiig miracle. Even if they find a goal Juve will find it easily because they caught the tie even there is a 3 goal gap and 1 player down. Even on the penalties Juve has the higher hand than Galatasaray because of theplayer motivation's . I hope Galatasaray will endure Juve's attack on the first round and maybe on the second they will break this terrible situation.

After going through extra time, Galatasaray managed to win the match and the final aggregate 5-7, Victor Osimhen and Alper Yılmaz take on the roles and it was bad luck for Juventus after the red card incident, almost all home teams managed to qualify except Juventus lol. In another match PSG almost made a mistake when Monaco tried to catch up luckily PSG were able to handle it and won 5-4 on aggregate, I can't imagine if PSG were kicked out because they were the winners last year.

I believe Osimhen and his striking partners were able to score but the coach tactics was to relax and protect their 3 goals advantage which Juventus with a red card equaled.

I commend Juventus for putting up a good fight against Galatasary, even with the red card they managed to tie the match on aggregate, to take the match to extra time. The extra time was more like a disadvantage for them because they have played for such a long time a player down. If Juventus had their complete players for the duration of the match, they would have knocked out  Galatasary. It was a disappointing performance from Galatasary even though they qualified. Throwing away a 3 goals lead against a team that had red card don't speak well about them.

Juventus were down to ten men from the 48th minute onwards, but even with a man down, they performed well. Actually, it was Galatasaray who were at a disadvantage; they simply needed to avoid conceding a goal, and despite being down to ten men, they did. It didn't need to go to extra time it would have ended much earlier. Once again, Osimhen saved Galatasaray in extra time.

An extra goal was scored, and Galatasaray fans breathed a sigh of relief  120 minutes was a long time to play today.

Dortmund made numerous blunders in the match, allowing Atalanta to draw and ultimately take the lead. Dortmund were already ahead in the first leg, and they simply needed to play defensively. But they didn't do that, which was a mistake, in my opinion.

Atalanta wasn't the team most expected to advance to the round of 16. Most people expected Inter Milan. Unfortunately, they couldn't win a single match against Bodo/Glimt in either the first or second leg. Obviously, for a team at the top of the Serie A standings, not being able to win a match in this qualifying round is very disappointing.

For me, the most important thing is that Real Madrid advances to the next round. Although this match against Mourinho was quite difficult for Arbeloa, at least they won. I'm satisfied.

Galatasaray finally qualified for the round of 16. It was a very interesting match. After the scheduled 90 minutes, I was just wondering why Galatasaray's strategy was so bad? Why were they so weak in defense despite having a 3-goal lead? Even after Juventus were reduced to 10 players, Galatasaray couldn't stop them. But luck was on their side in the extra 30 minutes, and in the end Galatasaray advanced by 5-7 goals.

I was really surprised by Juventus' performance. Even after receiving a red card, they were still attacking the opposition. Juventus showed how to keep the pressure on the opposition even with 10 players. On the other hand, Atalanta was even more impressive. Atalanta is the only club from the Italian league that will represent them in the Champions League. Dortmund was a very weak team, which was proven in their game.

Atalanta where really spectacular in their approach, winning Dortmund in their second leg wasn't something I saw coming, they where really impressive. As for Galatasaray and Juventus, their aggregate is just something else, the number of goals that came out from both teams makes the scoreboard to look like a basketball ball scoreboard as the goals for boths teams where on the high side, for me, it shows both teams have porous defensive lines.
As for Real Madrid, I knew they would come out real good, this is literally their last opportunity to qualify for the next round, so all effort must be made.

The strategy to defend from first half almost made them lose the game if not because of the red card that was given to the Juventus player, I saw how hard it was for Galatasaray to score in the second half the same Galatasaray that became very strong in the first leg when Juventus was reduced to 10 men they scored a total of 5 goals but today due to their manager's instructions they could not score after Juventus players was reduced. I don't blame Juventus for losing but they would have held the game a little longer instead of conceding 2 goals in the extra time.

Juventus swam and swam but ended up sinking. If Kelly hadn't gotten a red card, Juve could have won easily. They were left 10 players in both games. The players put in a lot of effort but also missed easy goals. Zhegrova is a complete flop. He hasn't scored a single goal this season. The goal he missed from that open position will always be remembered. Maybe his career is over today. He can't stay at Juve, he'll end up back at a small team in a minor league. This level doesn't forgive such mistakes. Kenan did a lot but was unlucky. They fought hard but couldn't finish it off.

Indeed Real Madrid victory was important because they paid back Mourinho for the heavy defeat he did for them in the group stage. The three to one goals on aggregate is not impressing in the other hand. We expected more from Real Madrid anyway.

Lots of amazing games in the UCL this week and the only Italian team that is holding up Italy's flag in the competition is Atalanta. Nobody would have thought that is possible when the pairings were known for this playoff round. Inter Milan and Juventus Turin eliminated is bad news for Italy. I don't know what the current score is in the 5 year UEFA ranking, but this season is not helping Italy at all. This could cost them lots of valuable points that they should have usually been able to gather against Bodo/Glimt and Galatasaray.

Although it should be said that playing Galatasaray away from home is no pleasure for any team. There have been many big favorites that had trouble against Galatasaray in the past.

On the whole, it was a good result, nothing really unusual about it except for Atalanta that had to come from behind on aggregates to beat Dortmund with a resounding 4:1 victory in the second leg.

PSG however, had their league 1 game, coming from behind to tar the lead and later allowed Monaco an equalizer.

While Juventus was the game of the evening against Galatasaray. It wasn’t any easy win for Galatasaray but they made it happen in the extra time and gains their slot.

The second leg of the UEFA Champions League play-off between Atalanta and Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund was the one I enjoyed the most because while watching this game it seemed that the Italian club was hungry for victory and busy taking revenge, but they lost 2-0 to Dortmund in the first leg. It seems to us that Atalanta may have known that they would have to pull off a miracle to reach the Champions League round of 16, so they played with that intention because we can all see that this team reached the next round of 16 of the Champions League for the 25/26 season by just one goal after scoring four goals in the second leg. However maybe everyone has noticed this Samardzic made a significant contribution to Atlanta's victory in the second leg game of the UCL playoffs yesterday, because it can be said without a doubt he dramatically scored a goal from the penalty spot in the 98th minute.

This was exactly the discussion we were having last week after the first leg when most people said that the game was over for Juventus. I tell people that this is a champions league, if you can score three goals the opponents can also score more and we saw different teams trying to cause upset. This galatasaray side thought they won the tie and actually didn’t do much. Give it to Juventus who were playing with a man down from the early start of the second half and came back into this game, it was because of the man down that there weakness showed after the 90 minutes and during the extra time, Galatasaray got away with this but it was a huge gamble.

As for Atlanta I think they deserved the credit after over turning a 2-0 lead from first leg, it was my least result considering how formidable the Dortmund side usually is in the champions league. I was pissed but. Nonetheless only the best team deserves to progress to last 16s and Italian club showed they deserved it more than

It was an exciting match. Galatasaray played really bad but still managed to go through in extra time. If I were a Juve fan, I'd applaud the team too, but I'd also be upset thinking about all the chances they missed. They did the hard part by making a comeback, but couldn't do the easy part and finish it.
For the country coefficient, it's good that Galatasaray won. We had fallen far behind recently, now we're starting to recover a bit.

Galatasaray were lucky that Juventus was red carded in the first half because there's no way they could have beat Juventus if they were complete. Galatasaray surprised everyone with their performance against Juventus but Victor Osimhen and Yilmaz came to the rescue, so Galatasaray should thank Victor Osimhen and Yilmaz for sending them to the knockout phase of the Champions League.
