Yea, Dortmond really disappoint almost everyone especially their fans, you have 2 goals advantage in the first leg so everyone expected you to clinch on that and make it to the knockout phase but instead they struggled all game and got knockout by Atalanta.

Monaco had a very good game but still failed to qualify due to the first leg result, I was very surprised that they were able to get a draw even after that red card. It was an entertaining game and I really enjoyed this thi.

Real Madrid got their revenge just like you said, they beat Benfica in both legs of the tournament, well it was very much expected. Both team really showed that effort to go in to the next round but Real Madrid was very much determined.

I agree, because this was tense game with Juventus is having good squad, they were playing at home still Galatasaray have reasonable performance in these conditions, they conceded 3 goals, it was big blow at this level but at the end, last laugh for them brought good end of this game.

While Juventus was down to 10 players, I was expecting some good aggressive approach from Galatasaray, but sadly they failed and conceded 2 goals even Old Lady lost too many chances, this also hurt them after having performance like this, Juventus surely deserved to be having spot into next round but extra time was joyful for the Turkish club as they scored 2 goals which handed them spot into next round.

Juventus lost that game because their players became exhausted. They have been playing without a player since the 48th minute. When the game got to extra time they couldn't play like before because the players had become tired.  Juventus would have scored more goals if not for the red card. They paid for their carelessness in Turkey.

Galatasaray were just struggling to curtail the pressure from Juventus. Everyone in Galatasaray was defending, yet the host was still scoring.  Osimhen gave the lifeline and the second goal sealed their qualification.  But I don't like his refusal to celebrate. My bets about PSG and Galatasaray were successful, despite the drama between Juventus and Galatasaray. Juventus was close to achieving a historical success, but the red card for one of their players was too much for them and they couldn't survive in the added time. It was a big surprise for me to watch Atalanta winning 4-1 against Borussia. Italian teams should never be underestimated(unless we are talking about Inter). Benfica failed to eliminate Real Madrid after scoring an early goal. Real managed to equalize pretty fast and Benfica failed to create more goal opportunities for themselves. Moral of the story, I still suck at sports betting.

May repeat the same thing they did in their last time, However, PSG is playing at home and they are doing better than Monaco, apart from that PSG is stronger than them, definitely I’m expecting PSG to win this match tonight.

Galatasaray still had star players who can help them and make difference. In this match, Victor Osimhen scored an important goal to prevent a collapse of Galatasaray in Italy as before that goal, Juventus still created opportunities for scoring a fourth goal by by wasting these chances, they give Galatasaray golden chance to bounce back. The goal scored by Osimhen opens the match for Galatasaray as without that goal, I believe that Juventus will manage to score a goal to win in 120 minute or at least they will have to find the winner at penalty spots.

Juventus played very well and they were very unlucky with the red card but even so they managed to score 3 goals in 90 minutes and equalized an aggregated result. If their players made better shots, they would beat Galatasaray already but with only 10 players, what they have done is already amazing. Later with exhausted players, they let Galatasaray scored two goals and finalized this playoff pair. Generally Juventus can be proud of their high quality performance and if they had not gotten the red card, they would have beaten Galatasaray in aggregated result convincingly too.

Surprises never cease to pop up and I agree with you that Bodø/Glimt has been the most surprising team this season. They not only made it to the last 16, but to get that far, they beat some big teams. After Inter Milan and Juventus were eliminated, only Atalanta remained as Italy's representative in the Champions League. I had thought that Dortmund would qualify because they won convincingly in the first leg, but Atalanta managed to turn things around in the second leg.

Real Madrid can breathe a sigh of relief for now,  as they have finally managed to eliminate Benfica, who had been a stumbling  block during the group stage. Benfica actually took the lead first, but Real Madrid has the mentality of a champion and was able to turn the situation around. Even without Mbappe, Real Madrid could still get the win.

Am not trying to discredit the performance of Juventus yesterday in the uefa champions league but their performance after the red card was due to how poor Galatasaray was last night, not that they were special.
This season Juventus has been putting in a shitty performance domestically and even in other cup competitions, and where it was obvious that Galatasaray was the one that gave them that two more goals they scored due to their shit showing after the red card was during the extra time that Galatasaray decides to attack, and stop their shit showing they were doing all game. Because if they had decided to attack like a team that cames to compete, they would have won Juventus in the 90th minutes of the game, since Juventus will struggle to go toe to toe with Galatasaray that are complete.

Real Madrid did fine, Prestinial was suspended after all, for using a racist language on vinicious Jr. Beating Benfica is the best revenge to offer them instead of walking out of the pitch or abandoning the match as they initially planned, if anymore racist abused gets spotted. As for Galatasaray and Osihmen, the Nigerian Striker vowed to score against Juventus and when it seemed like his promise didn't come to be after the full time, he brought back glory to his side in the extra time. Defeating the old lady is quite a milestone to the Turkish club and Osihmen despite being owed January and February Salary is very happy with his team.

Even in the first leg vinicus jr was the same player whose goal helped real madrid defeat benfica at the estadio da Luz. Vinicus jr is a great player and blessing to real madrid against benfica because if he hadn't been for those goals he scored real Madrid woldn't had beaten benfica twice.

It wasn't a spectacular match, but a task that PSG must complete in the next game, which will surely be tougher than this one. Not too many high hopes for PSG in the Champions League. But everything can change if they improve.

Last season PSG struggled in league phase but they were a completely different team afterwards... This time they weren't different in league phase again. However even after that they don't look that good.

There is really a downgrade in their performance this year. They don't play like they are the last champions I'm afraid. You just can't struggle with eliminating even this Monaco. Monaco are like they are having their worst season in the recent years.

The million dollar question is, will Atalanta be able to hold on and finish off the match like this or probably add another without conceding to proceed to the next stage. Before the match, Atlanta were at the disadvantaged side as they lost the first leg, 2 - 0 which was like climbing a mountain to be in equal footing. Tonight, they equalised and added another one to give them the advantage. From losing 2 - 0 to now winning 3 - 2 on aggregate means If it ends like this, then Dortmund will be dumped out of the competition. It's just funny how Dortmund is, that team is one hell of a team that can be er be trusted. I thought Atlanta had already lost after the leg first not knowing that he will give themselves a fighting chance when they play today. One more goal from them just incase Dortmund happens to score as well.

Regular time ended with a score of 3-0, and Galatasaray actually "remembered" football only in extra time. I didn't watch the game, but judging by the text broadcasts, their strategy was simply to hold on to the score, they hardly attacked, even when they found themselves in the majority. Under these circumstances, Juventus was able to force the game into extra time, but they simply ran out of steam after that. To be honest, now I even regret that Juventus was eliminated, I expected a normal game from Galatasaray.

Vinicus deserved the Man of the Match award in the match against Benfica. Vinicus played his role very well. Especially with Mbappé's absence, Vinicus was able to fill in and play a key role in determining the outcome of the match. Vinicus is now starting to rediscover his best form, which had faded under Alonso. I hope Vinicus can maintain his top form, as Real Madrid desperately needs him in their title race.

You are right, Real Madrid is to face either Manchester City or Sporting CP, we shall know this after the draw. If FIFA merge City and Real Madrid, it means that one of these two clubs will be eliminated out from the competition very early. However, if Real Madrid is merged with Sporting, it's gon be an easy win for them.

Benfica put up a fierce fight, but it must be admitted that Real Madrid's strength is far greater, especially since this match was played at the Bernabeu, so it was not easy for Benfica, and I think this is a fair result. 

As for Galatasaray's victory, it was very impressive; they went through a very tough match, and Juventus fought very hard even though they were already playing with 10 men. However, they managed to bring the match into extra time, and Osimhen became the savior for Galatasaray. This was truly a great match, and I think appreciation is deserved for Juventus even though they had to be eliminated early in this season's Champions League competition.

it was a great match. Small details gave the tour to Galatasaray. specifically, those details were the red cards Juve received in both legs which obviously took a toll on them. despite that, they wasted three very clear chances yesterday. the game could have easily ended 5-0. once GS converted their first clear opportunity in extra time, it was over anyway as Juve was extremely tired.

Eh, most of the teams are inconsistent, and Galatasaray is no exception, otherwise they would have not been in the play-off but in the top 8 and they would not have finished in 20th position. Remember that 5-1 loss at Frankfurt of all teams?

Anyhow, other than Atalanta, nothing surprised me in the overall (agg) result, some of them were clear they were not making a comeback, and other is was just silly to think they would lose, and no Inter's failure doesn't surprise me at all, that team is leading a league of failures, time for the Italian teams to sit back and realize that they need to grow players again like they did back a decade ago, their way of stop gap measures with whatever is on the market is a failure.
